Same way I did mine actually, except now I have the RF-1400 the visor is so hard to get on/off now I just use microfiber cloth and TV screen cleaner on mine while still attached.
It can be done on the helmet easily as well. I will be at a restaurant for lunch on my ride and just put a napkin on my helmet sheild and wet it with my water and a straw and let it sit during lunch and then it wipes off easy when I am ready to leave.

@@ViciousXUSMC yes, some are a pain to remove. I do it similarly when on.
I apply Rain-X to my motorcycle shield. Rain slips right off and bugs and chemicals easy to remove. Makes overall cleaning easier.
@@X-7-JAMES yes, my friends were doing the same all week in Tennessee during the hurricane pass.

Works great man thanks for the vid!
Yw, glad they worked.
Don't use paper towels, as they can scratch and leave lint. Use a clean soft cotton rag.
Thx. Agreed, I only wet them and set them on the screen. I never wipe with them.
