For many seasons, Coach McNally has used this consistent up-tempo attack based on NBA offenses. The NBA has only 24 seconds to score and this philosophy feeds into McNally's offense. This offense is systematic, meaning all of the parts and options fit together. It provides a way to quickly get into your offense as opposed to the slower half court offenses. Players love this style of play, it can be adapted to fit your personnel, is structured with player freedom and forces defenses to be mentally tough.
Five offensive concepts are the foundation of McNally's pro style offense. McNally breaks down the wedge, drag, and hand techniques - all are keys to getting easy baskets in this offense. Three scoring options come from forcing the break on each possession. Pushing the ball down the floor is predicated on good defensive rebounding. Game video clips highlight the scoring power of this offense. This pro style offense produces more points, puts pressure on the defense and allows all players to play to their strengths!
