His hope gave her hope in the end. His strength became hers. She was strong all along, just didn't know. Will she still be strong if she gets where she's going and there's no one there? Hopefully she will find others. I guess it was a plague that wiped out civilization. Zombies? Crazies? Well done, good film. Could be a full length movie or TV series.

He wasn’t ever going to, he was bit by a “zombie”
the "blanket" was a sleeping bag that smelled bad. Moreover he was on his way back home.
I say take all of them. Walk slow if needed. Build a darn sled. Hate watching film makers decide survival choices🙄

@@brycetaylor3540 the cinematography and music are fine, and I never claimed to be an actor, but I assure you, I can do as good or better than this. I am a professional musician who's been playing for over 30 years, toured all over the world, not famous but i get do what i love and I get paid for it.....
@@badmonkey2222 I highly doubt that. Just because you are a musician and have been on stage doesn't mean you can act or do better than these performers in a film setting. Congrats on your career as a musician but as a professionally trained actor myself I know the art form.
We will have to agree to disagree. I will say I think the Cinematography was the best aspect of the film without question. I say that not to take anything away from anyone else involved though.
My 5th time watching. Let's see the backstory and then Jen's journey on path to the sanctuary.

Did you use a flat profile and color graded it or did you use just use a specific picture profile then just tweaked the settings. Great short film by the way. The directing and acting was very well done.

I don’t get it! Why did she kill him??? They make this big plan to survive, than it cuts to a flash in the window (gun shot), than it shows her walking down the road. Did I miss something? What’s the point????

Perfect film (except for the aforementioned tractor & grass), color, shots, transitions & that sort of stuff. No wasted scenes or anything - nice and tight. Bravo. I have no sympathy for Ryan though except he faced his fate well, at the end. And Jen ? I hope she learns to be strong - she hasn't been so far, just a gender stereotypical 2nd class subservient person.

Yeah, we should have been more prepared when it came to the ending shot but we were in a rush haha, we'll make sure to put more thought next time!

I usually criticize the acting and shit but this was pretty good a couple weird pauses that didn’t seem natural every once in a while but it was pretty good

He's been knocked out, from what I can figure, but experiences no dizzy spell or uncoordination in movement or vision on standing up?
I honestly wish some writers had even a feeble grip of reality or someone around them was honest enough to point out the errors in their plots.
Failing that, some old fashioned research into subjects, instead of going off, half-clocked, ballsing up the film from the opening seconds.
