Good point... I remember telling friends "yeah I'm going to play MR tonight! ... assuming there are no launch issues". And sure enough, I signed in and played 10 games in a row with no issues.
Mine was a couple if light stuttering, but it run fine which is amazing because i run on a vivobook and the game was mostly smooth with a bit of choppiness and this is on default settings
performance problems are a pretty major issue right now, my mid-range gaming PC cannot run the game at a constant 144fps at the lowest possible settings, 1080p with FSR3 on performance The game look like a pixelated mess but I still cannot play without having to deal with fps drop every fight
I would agree, however they said that they want to branch into esports if the game succeeds, and that that point you have to balance for competitive players, or the esports will fall apart
This was my biggest problem with valorant. They only cared about competitive and pro scene so much so that the casual part of the game got super stale, and the only updates to the game are skins and balance changes. As someone who avoids competitive, im so glad rivals is catering to the casual scene
This game feels 100% like casual with a semblance of a smidge of competitive play. If they want to get a competitive game, they need to change some core features, plain and simple. But as an actual casual game, I enjoy this a lot more than OW2.
@@RiftEnalios disagree. If they do for fun balance changes, and everything remains strong as hell, there will be a lot of different choices at high level competitive play. Some heroes may fall to irrelevancy at high level, but as long as they remain decent at all levels it should be fine.
It has been a problem that was mass reported by players literally every single early release test period with Dr. Strange months before release and the devs either just don't care or have no idea how to fix it.
Overwatch has been doing those challenge ranges! That includes maybe an eighth of the cast That gets 1-2 new heroes added to it every season That nobody plays...
@@sixsam6766 I truly wish they're considering adding something like a tutorial layout (on toggle obviously) on those. I think that's what's actually missing.
I think in gaming this might a little “old” if you’ve been doing it for your whole life lol. Plus body changes so much around 25 to seal your adult fate that it makes sense.
I love that, overall, it feels like a polished and well established game. Definitely has some optimisation issues, but to release in such a finished state for a free to play game, is impressive. Also damn, those instant que pops are nice.
I really want this game to do amazing, cuz overwatch having such a direct competitor will result in both games innovating and pushing new ideas. I want the timeline where we win in both games
@@beetletoot6673 if they actually invested in bringing it back they could, but they won't, so hypothetically, it could come back, it just won't because Blizzard sucks balls
It’s not a competitor..trust me,I still played overwatch today, and realize I haven’t had fun since Ashe got released. With rival,I could get rolled and still have fun. I can roll and have even more fun. That’s the difference. Marvel is ALREADY fun. I think about it like it’s crack when I’m at work. I never think about ow until a group begs me to play. OW is NOT a competitor, unless they make some huge changes 😂😂
It’s not gonna be an Overwatch killer, which I’m glad it won’t because it’s not about trying to kill other games but to HAVE different games. This is a fun game for sure. 100% Literally have a ball just fighting with overpowered balanced gameplay, but OW will have its lane and Rivals will have its own. And that’s good to see! I just play this and have a blast with whoever. Hope to see more of this game grow!!
Why I don't think it will kill overwatch and give a good competition but if it does end up killing Ow i be more happy then overwatch just killing itself
Flats’ words on being an open que tank was exactly my experience last night. I wanted to practice and actually get good with spiderman but I can’t play dps because if I did then we’d have one support taking care of 5 dps and no one would have fun on the game but at least the other characters in other roles are fun enough to where I don’t mind as much as like overwatch
Yeah same for me! Especially with the team ups, not only are all the classes actually fun for me but queing up specifically to give team up bonus ends up being pretty great too, especially if i dont know who to play
Exactly, my last few games were like that and i just went Loki, dude is like a healing Sombra but not unfun to play against, since he only has a stab for burst dmg, but he can "tp" away which is fun
Tanks are actually really fun, I wish there were more playing them because going venom solo seems to not be the play usually. Dr Strange actually handles it pretty well though
Play vs AI on hard The AI has aimbot and it's not a steamroll at all, so it gives you a great place to practice your combos without worrying about team comp
I was also the person who picked up the "less popular" roles like tank and support, because i was less mechanically gifted, and I wanted to at least allow everyone else to have fun. Like flats, I came to OW1 on PC from console in 2018, and I sucked at aiming and poking. In OW1 I basically followed flats mentality of "Im not as good as the 5 dudes playing dps on the team, so Ill just play tank/sup and enable them and have fun doing that." 12:28 But honestly, now ive gotten pretty good mechanically. Ive gotten especially good at fast placed, high movement, assassin like gameplay cause of playing lucio and ball. Now with Spider-man, Im so ready to become the selfish dps one-trick. Hes incredibly fun to play and I love having a melee assasain high mobility dps who can wallride like Lucio and grapple like Ball. I love this character so much, he combines alot of my favorite things and is a dps on top of that. Overall im super excited for this game. I dont want it to kill Overwatch (or my beloved wreckingball and lucio) but i DO hope it does well.
but if you still need/want to play with a DPS that rewards mech. skill play Jeff. his heals take decent amount of aim and his offensive ability does as well.
That's what he does in those deep thoughts with the deep moments. Take it more as a podcast. He is like one of the best Overwatch content creators, with really good takes but he also does some reactions videos and gameplay is usually only in the streams.
@@M1tZk1 yeah ik we are both here watching the same thing lol im just asking why he looped THAT specific loop of absolutely nothing happening. Not a single shot, running into walls, random pathing, etc. it’s just silly.
@chrisperry4014 Maybe since he's new to this training room, so he didn't find his routine. Like in overwatch he'd often be on second floor shooting the 3 moving Bots. It's just that you don't really think about what you're doing when you try to get a thought across. It's like when people scribble on a piece of paper to be more focused.
What I think would be interesting is if they implemented a 3 per role limit. It would still allow you to swap between roles mid game but would also prevent those 4 or 5 dps blowout rounds where you rolled because everyone else played dps.
Yeah, like KarQ is right about it sometimes sucks having no tank/healer, but at the same time a bunch of characters can kinda fill the tank role. Like Wolverine is a huge space taker, ironman can force people off of corners. It's not a one for one for sure, but these imbalanced comps work because most characters can kinda do multiple things. The playstyles you can get out of each character can work and it works well.
It kinda makes me wish that they didn't add tank role at all, and made some heroes like Groot and Magneto more utility-focused DPS like Symmetra. Especially because they seemed very reluctant to give tanks hard CC except on ults, the role just feels like it's in a weird spot to me. Cap and Thor already feel like bruiser DPS heroes that hit like wet noodles but don't die, so just up the numbers to compete with melee DPS heroes, and reduce their HP.
You could literally make the same argument about heroes like Tracer and Pharah where they can make insane space in there own way opposed to a Tank Sigma or Rein but taking space isn't just what a Tank is all about. It's also about being this big violent threat that can sustain and draw aggro forcing high value abilities that your team can take advantage of. Look at Ana sleep dart. If a Winston jumps on an Ana and puts his bubble in a good enough position then when they try to sleep him it'll be blocked and Ana now becomes extremely vulnerable to another dive as that cooldown is very valuable for Ana
KarQ and people of his ilk need to stick to OW. Stop trying to turn what could be a fun alternative to OW, into just another OW clone. Would also be AMAZING if one day people would start treating videogames as just that again, GAMES. Too many chronically online losers taking videogames seriously, it's quite cringe.
I will say, my one complaint so far after playing like 9 hours last night with some friends, i didn’t say it to them but I thought it when going to sleep, this game needs more maps and I hope they try to prioritize them a bit more than characters for the early stages at least. Like there being only 8 maps feels a bit rough, that’s not even 3 maps for each of the modes. Hell there was a point where we got the spider man hybrid map 3 games in a row. Not a big complaint, just kinda wish there was at least 10 for the launch.
We only had I believe 4 total maps in the last big beta. I see them adding a lot more, but also we have to take into consideration all domination "maps" are 3 maps in one. Still a small amount but not that small overall and really getting in depth with every character can really change the feel and play on a lot of maps.
I think my biggest gripe thus far is that it's not immediateiyl obvious which side of a match you're on, especially on something like payload maps where the enemy team can take control of it. Just something a bit more obvious would be nice. But I think I generally agree, I'm thoroughly enjoying Rivals probably more than I thought I would but it doesn't quite itch the same scratch as OW does for me at least
I think he needs a small buff but Loki is my absolute favourite character. The playstyle is so original and refreshing and the skill ceiling feels massive
Yeah, I feel like no one talks about him, or uses him. I’m a big fan of the character and I was stunned at the ABSURD amount of healing he can do. There’s definitely some cooldown reductions that could be done though. I think it’d also be beneficial if his ult was a little shorter but his illusions would automatically heal allies during it or something, because oftentimes your team just falls apart without your healing before you can take full advantage of your ult.
The only thing I want them to add is more ways to heal outside of strategists. Whether it’s a self heal passive like overwatch did or some other way I think that will help solve some of the role lock problems because having no heals on your team makes every source of damage you take so much more threatening.
Yeah remind me of the classic game mode for ow It felt like shit having no self heal I spent like a solid 30 seconds on 1 game just standing there hoping for heals because self heals aren't in classic But honestly I think self heal might be busted as hell I mean my favorite character right now is mantis and she can heal a ton of HP not to mention she self heals as well and she has sleep and damage boost Absolutely busted ass character
@@Kabob24s yeah bit that would only be right now In the future highlighting health packs would become pointless because you would already know the map and know where all the health packs are
no that’s terrible idea that’s the problem with overwatch is people don’t die if i’m better than someone mechanically and i shit on them supports shouldn’t be able to instally restore them to full takes away the skill
The "unpack" thing isn't due to steam servers since its all done client side. Steam preloads get encrypted so people cant play the game before release so steam has to unencrypt and unpack after release so you can play. The unpack speed depends on how good your cpu and storage is.
I love Role Quee in Overwatch. I hope it never comes to Marvel Rivals. Let Overwatch be the competitive game and keep Marvel Rivals as the fun chaotic battle felid. I actually draw more similarities between Marvel Rivals and TF2 in hero design. Let every hero be op. I don't care how many times I get blown up of thrown off the map. As long as I can do that stuff sometimes too. - Jaded Tank Main P.s. Tanking in Marvel Rivals is actually so much fun.
@@nurikkulanbaev3628You cannot escape that even in a balanced envoirment, which is why its just better to have more "broken" stuff which in turn means no one is unplayable
As much as I prefer that mindset for balance I do hope they don't go insane with it. I have seen other online multi-player games follow that to a point where the game suffers because of it. Case and point Guilty Gear Strive.
this has nothing to do with what you said besides the fact i just coincidentally paused the video at 6:20 and started reading comment and saw your time stamp for 6:20😭😭
I was pretty leery about the game tbh. My initial thought was that they were using the Marvel IP as a gimmick and that it would wouldn't feel great to play, but I decided to give it a try anyway. Boy was I wrong. The characters feel great and feel seamless in the game modes. They did such a good job making the melee characters feel great and diverse. I've put in about 10 hours so far with 8 of them being on Iron Fist and he feels so fun. Pretty much all of my games have been 1 tank, 3 dps, 2 supports and that feels pretty good. Even playing against 2 tanks didn't feel overly oppressive. Healing feels pretty strong but dive characters are also pretty great. So far the only thing that I've felt was pretty broken was Mantis sleep mostly because it feels like it has a massive hit box but I don't have enough experience playing other characters to tell what feels really strong. I highly recommend the game. Maybe just because it's new but it feels very OW1 release to me as far as it feeling like an arcade game with everyone just messing around and doing wacky things but I agree that it doesn't feel like an OW clone or anything.
I also love how they inform you when going to buy something from the store, how much of the 'gold' currency you need to purchase (they also show, if you have units, the gold + units so that you know exactly how much you need to buy).
i tried all the tanks, REALLY tried to like venom, but i just hate all of them, maybe it's just my playstyle but i am not getting any kills and am just still getting shredded anyway.
@@jeffboy4231 thats been my experience with tank on release... i imagine its just because of my lack of experience with that playstyle. Where as if i play punisher im mvp half the time going like 25-3 lol
@@jeffboy4231 Yeah, that really not what you're supposed to do when playing Tank. You can definitely get kills on squishy targets when needed, but the primary thing is making space and helping your team stay up and advancing.
@jeffboy4231 i think how u play venom is u dive with ur ground thing on ppl that are alone, latch on them, then get a free kill and swing out. That and also slamming in and crawling out. Genuinely mix of ow1 doom and ball imo love him
I like each game I play for what it is, THAT game. I enjoy Overwatch, Valorant, and now Marvel Rivals for what they are. Overwatch is a nostalgic game, whose characters I love as well as the lore, and how the characters play. Valorant I'm newer to, but I like the play style of that game also, as well as how unique the character abilities are. It is frustrating at times I do admit though. Marvel Rivals so far is fun, I appreciate how much love was put into the game to make it as accurate to each character as possible, as well as how it gives us the lore for the characters too. It not being a first person shooter was an adjustment for me a little, but I don't mind it! Every game has its issues, but that doesn't take away from the fact you can still love them for what they are imo. :)
Considering that I didn’t start playing OW until like season 7 or 8 of OW2, I don’t have that “enjoy it for what it is” feeling. I absolutely despised my time on OW because *playing* the characters was extremely satisfying, but the cringe/toxic community and the suspensions for calling people out on their BS were unbelievably annoying.
@@Watermelon_Man I mean, its kinda ironic dont you think that you're calling out the toxic community yet watching videos from flats? He's one of em. Watch early flats with emongg and what not before flats became somewhat of a big streamer. Super mellow and down to earth. Then he became toxic and found his niche with his followers on here.
i’ve only had a pc for about 2 years now and i’ve only ever really played overwatch because it was all i really knew. so inherently i feel like rivals is really fun to me cause EVERYONE is new. that being said, it’s been a long time since i tried a new game and genuinely had fun. i suck at it, i get lost on the maps, half the time im the only support character, etc. you’d think that’d make it a miserable experience but it doesn’t because it’s FUN. with overwatch ive fallen into only being able to play for 30 minutes before getting drained and bored. but so far with rivals i played for hours on end cause it was just fun to play and learn. obviously a lot of that is because it’s a new game with new characters but overall its just been a fun experience. and i honestly agree in hoping that they go the opposite routes that overwatch has gone. it feels like such a breath of fresh air
I mean, for the purposes of competitive gaming, it IS older. 8 years ago I could brute force my way into higher ranks without breaking a sweat via my reaction time and adaptability alone, these days I need to plan, commit, and lean much more into strategy and teamplay. Our reaction times are simply worse after the teens.
@@DragonEdge10 be healthy and it wont be a problem. Fighter pilots would shit on you best reaction time on their worst day, and they dont just retire suddenly at 30. There are 60 year olds that could shit on most peoples coordination
That is literally false you just don't play all day so you're worse mechanically. Alot of professional drivers are fast at their mid and late 20s and even early 30s@@DragonEdge10
@@adragoongoon5666 Dude I am not saying you can't be fast past that age but it is literally scientific fact that human reaction times generally peak in their twenties. The same 30 year old that's faster than the both of us would have better raw reaction speeds at a younger age. I think you're mistaking my point as a means of saying that you can't be better than younger people as an older person. My point is that as you get older, relative to your younger self, your raw reaction speeds will decline and you will tend to have to account for that through strategy and planning in conjunction with your accumulated skills more so than just relying on flicking to the next target that pops up on the edge of the screen. I'm also not saying it's a particularly massive margin for everyone. Hell, it's not even that big of a margin for me. But it is absolutely *a* factor for the vast majority of people, even if it's not *the* factor. Edit: Also there's of course the factor of time spent training to polish up and tighten your reaction times, that's again not what I'm referring to though. Of course if you practice a thing enough you're gonna get better at reacting to things by nature of preparedness for the events in question, but you can't really train your raw reaction speeds, just effective ones. Again, all else equal (i.e an 18 y/o with a 30y/o's experience), your younger self will probably have an edge over your older self. And this doesn't even take into consideration that, in the context of gaming, the younger self inherently gets more exposure to practice the game, whereas the older self will have responsibilities that will inherently make them rustier more often.
This is something I still felt from the beta, the characters feel very slow out of combat and the objectives don't feel very clear/weighty(idk how to explain it) but alot of the times winning and losing feels so underwhelming sometimes I don't even realise we win/lost until it just happens
@@Game0607s no he mean the UI/UX and audio design doesn't communicate well that you're going to loose, in OW when you're about to loose you get a loud music, multiple warning and tons of UI elements In rivals it feel like you just suddenly loose, no build up with music and no warning
The thing I think people are missing is that if you want your balanced hero shooter that you can be sweaty in and be competitive, Overwatch is still right there. I think Marvel Rivals focusing on the fun, and more trying to replicate the heroes in this franchise the best they can with the limitations of a hero shooter, is something cool to have. And if people do stick to it, a competitive scene will bud up on its own. The players can be the ones making the rule sets and tournaments on their own. And things can change with every season because of the team up mechanic. The devs don’t have to worry about making some league right off the bat, they just need to focus on making fun heroes and making more maps to play on. Maybe even create different modes for people to have fun with.
I became a tank main for the same reason, sometimes we just want to have fun playing with our friends even if that means making a sacrifice. I am thankful for gamers like you in the community.
high power level games works in fighting games ironically marvel fighting games are known for being extremely unbalanced but they are games people play for 10 and 20 years.
I think Blizzard has finally started to improve and making some good changes. The only issue currently with OW is the questionable balance and skin favouritism.
Overwatch isn't dead, literally has been growing since season 9 with 40k players daily just on steam A deadgame isn't in the top 20 most played games on team and in the top 10 most played competitive shooter on steam
I think Minimum 1 of each role is something Marvel Rivals should enforce to at least give these Open Queue matches some stability. They could also add something similar to the All Heroes Self-Regen Passive from Overwatch so you don't need to rely on having a good team comp as much.
People will fit into needed roles naturally. Something to note about role lock is it actually incentives you to be less likely to play other roles. In early Overwatch I used to enjoy playing Tank, Support, and DPS as needed. I saw 3 dps and 3 support as a team and it worked really well.
If anything i would complain about in this game in its current form its the characters sound effects. its nearly impossible to tell if someone is creeping up on you unless you're watching your back and other second. and same for ults, you can hear them popping it but it doesnt come from anywhere, you just know its being used. maybe thats just an ow players gripe but it would be very helpful to know if someone is creeping around even if its just a soft footstep
i want to see the global passive health regen added to rivals and then im completely fine without role queue. It would make game so much better. I saw a lot of people wanting it
@@Invert-Y so does genji, tracer, ball, sombra but everyone loved that change as it flows the game better and there isnt to many meaningless downtime standing behind cover waiting to get heals
I think that Rivals has a LOT of potential, is not just a really fun game, is also a game where you can see how much love and effort the devs put into it- It's amazing, really. I didn't even realized how much I missed playing a game where you could actually SEE how much the devs care about the game and their players That being said, I personally think the only problems that I've experienced so far is that the game is not very friendly with people that doesn't have a rlly good pc, the optimization needs a lot of work and the worst thing I've been experiencing so far is just how fast you need to be to log in a match. I played SOOOO many matches where people ( and myself included ) just couldn't load in time bc is just TOO FAST!! And also, when we're finally in, the match has already started and the enemy took all the advantage bc our team was left with less players to help or even do something. I just wish they did something kinda similar to League of legends, where you need wait for every player to load in the match to start the game, 'cause honestly? It's very frustating. Our team doesn't have fun bc there 1-2 players that couldn't load in time and 'cause of that they stay in disavantage, and the player that didn't load in time also doesn't have fun bc the match is already in so much disavantage or even already lost deppending in how much time it took to them being able to load in, it's simply not fun, you can't enjoy or even play the game properly at all like that. And it's pretty sad to see it happening in almost every game that I play, there's always 1-2 players that have this problem or even myself. It sucks so much 'cause we all just want to play the game and have fun but we get left behind bc of this I just really hope they do something about it, because I rlly don't want to uninstall the game and I want to keep playing it but sometimes I just can't!!! And it's all because my pc can't keep up with the matches 'cause they start way too fast! Please devs think about us poor people that want to have fun too I'm begging ngfjggfhg
One of the biggest issues I have with the game is optimisation. I don't know if it's on last gen consoles but I'd be surprised if it ran at all. I play it on a relatively older laptop (from 2021 really not that old) which runs Overwatch perfectly fine at a consistent 60FPS. I can barely play Marvel Rivals, some games I genuinely can't get up to 30 FPS, it's completely ridiculous.
I'm not crazy about hero shooters personally but I do play alot of shooters and I don't know how it is on steam but on console I have never seen a queue time be this fast in any game ever. It's pretty cool to see it honestly.
Yes im wondering why no one has complaints about playing support where the melee characters out movement you and out dps even thru self heals. Once iron fist is on you as support your pretty much dead unless your team can save you quick enough. Support feel like a defenseless sitting duck waiting to get targeted
@@chillbill7705 Can't say for sure but after 6 hours in and after dying a lot because i suck i never fought that i died in some unfair way unlike ow2, it sort of always felt appropriate. A dps is just the "natural predator" of a support and it's fine dying bc of it.
Let’s see what geniuses in the comment section can help me!! The instrumental track that’s playing in the background in the beginning parts of this video is from a game, (it’s still playing around the 0:30 mark) but I don’t remember what game and what this song is called but I like it. Does anyone have an idea or can help me out figuring it out please!?
Im fine with the role queue so long as there's a non role queue option. 🤷♂️ go ahead and make comp role queue required for all I care, but i want quick play to actually be quick play 😂 i hated waiting 5-10 mins to just try a character in ow and everyone wants to yell at you if you're not immediately a god at them. Like I love playing healers and tanks. Usually, I go to. But, occasionally, I wanna go to dps too🤷♂️ I also don't want constant nerf everything like ow did either.
Yeah I think this is the best option. Comp NEEDS to be limited in roles and fairly balanced so that the only wild card is the player skill and teamwork.
explaining your thought process on tank, makes total sense. i was using magik and black widow when i first started playing. but when i got some of my friends online i tried out penni parker because they wanted to play their favorite hero’s, and now i find myself preferring to be a tank more and more. so i definitely agree i like for everyone to have fun. 6:29
From what has been seen in the leaks, there will be dps that heal, so I suppose that will somehow fix the whole problem of people asking for the role q to the lack of healin
Had a blast yesterday with a few games. Kinda all over the place with everyone being new and trying/learning stuff. But I also met people who, 2 hours after release, already treat it like a Worlds Tournament with money on the line. And I really hope that doesn't become a thing fo rmore community members. The game feels more chill than OW, maybe also because it is all new stuff. But getting another game where my 7/8 DPS complains that he isn't getting healing while I have 20k heals, team MVP etc is not what Im looking for here. Overwatch is alrady toxic enough. And I really hope Rivals can keep the more relaxt vibes.
On the issue of role lock I think a middle ground solution could be a min 1 max 3 format where you must have atleast 1 of each role and can only have a max of 3 of a role so you cut out the extremes of having none of one role and like 5 dps but also is not a restrictive as a 2-2-2 format that allows no flexibility and requires special queues
I could see that but then that would cause a toxic relationship with the at least 1 support an could even lock someone in a role they had not planned on playing
The unfortunate reality is that you NEED a tank and support, the tanks command space and support keeps the team alive so someone is always going to have to take the short end of the stick no matter what. I understand that sucks but if they are gonna have a competitive gamemode they need to not let it be open role that’s gonna be awful
@@wesleyb9148 That's why you should always be at least a little flexible. First thing I did when playing is picked a tank and Support I would be happy to main if the need arises. Now's the best time to be flexible. Everyone is still trying to learn the game, so it's the perfect chance to attempt to properly play everyone.
I don't care if the game is balanced, I just want it to be fair. And as someone who mains Magik, there are rarely times in which the game is fair. There's realistically nothing I can do into hela, widow, or hanzo, let alone all three on one team. hela can just bird 3 miles away, widow can push me and sprint away, hanzo uses his push and double jump. But if any of that doesn't work, they just all 2 tap me and I can't play. I know the solution is to swap to something else, but in a game all about power fantasy and being able to pick whatever and go crazy, I find Magik to be the most fun character in the game. Then there's other characters like iron fist who gets 2 seconds of invulnerability like a kiri nade, ontop of unstopable like mauga in one ability, AND gives you like 150 extra hp. Then every attack he uses dashes to the target over and over making it impossible to run, and every hit lowers his cooldowns making his block like 3 seconds between each. I could go on with how many other characters are just flat out better or can just completely ignore her, but there's too many.
i definitely see this - when i played, melee characters would tend to absolutely STRUGGLE against any competent player. i played a lot of mantis because people usually just picked duelists, and especially with her sedate (literally an AOE sleep), melee characters would just get destroyed if they tried to make a play. at least in overwatch, ana's sleep is most often a skill shot but i would just throw out a sedate and if it's some poor close-ranged duelist, they usually just die. that's not even mentioning them getting like 2-3 tapped by both other duelists and strategists😭
I had the same feeling for magik. Didn't swap cuz it was my first time playing her and I wanted to learn, and I sorta got ahead of it? Just needed to use her teleport and charge to get in close, while weaving whatever cover I could get. Which helped some, but a good hela can still hit headshots at close range and destroy you at close range.
Idk, i insta killed a lot of characters using her combo, but i still understand your point that compared to other characters, she lacks a bit or too much
most melee heroes have 1 shots kinda but melee heroes requires dive and coordination you need someone to take most of the attention while you sneak around and line up your 1 shot combo and magik is very very good up close since her portals are on a short cooldown and the reason your not able to escape on iron fist is because your probably auto piloting hes melee yes it dash but thats when u want it to simply let go on attack and triple jump away but the only thing they need to buff is the melee range to like 5m-6m
We're in the honeymoon phase sure, but Rival's launch compared to OW2 launch is night and day. All heroes free, half price battlepass. Remember launch OW2 when you had to sit in a 10k+ queue for 3 days? And when you eventually logged in as an OW1 player, you lost all your skins/cosmetics and 90% of the cast was locked while trying to link everything. Launch OW2 was a disaster.
This game made me realize how much I love role queue. Playing a match w my entire team playing duelist was the most painful experience I’ve had playing a game
I enjoy the game, but I enjoy it the same way I enjoy a fireworks show. Every game is just 10-15 minutes of three thousand different visual effects and all 12 hero's being as loud as possible. It feels like the gameplay is the secondary experience because of just how overwhelming the audio/visual effects are. I don't know what's happening ever and by the time I have a modicum of understanding of what I'm looking at there are now a dozen more flashing lights and particle effects overlapping each other and 6 hero's are screaming some catchphrase or ult.
the honeymoon phase will fade so for now enjoy it, If the dev team is on top on the updates, balances and new heroes.... this game will be strong and rival... overwatch.
Need to do like Fortnite did honestly, that’s what a lot of these new games miss. Sure it was years ago but if you remember when Fortnite first dropped people just considered it some pubg clone but because the devs stayed on top of the game and stayed involved in the community it reached insane levels
3:33 I think the thing about everyone being broken is becuase people want to play their favorite marvel character and they can’t if the character is horrible
i absolutely love the potential no role queue has, especially with the team ups. and tbh this game reminds me more of paladins with how characters have different unique movement (stranges portals reminds me of Yagorath)
I'm so glad they've made everyone feel powerful instead of overtuning for balance at launch. These characters are super heroes and deadly villains, they should feel as strong as they are. One of the saddest things about overwatch recently is that some of their "legendary heroes" are incapable of holding their own in a fight, and nobody in Rivals feels like that, even the support characters.
Really appreciate your thoughts flats, hopefully see you out on the frontlines. I'm coming at the game with a freshness I sort of lost with OW, I know i'll go back but it's very enlightening to have a new medium to play in.
Im seeing a lot of people talk about TTK in this game being good and yeah i agree currently theres a lot of agency when it comes to finishing of targets.. especially since a lot of kits have launches and airbones that separate targets. But...theres no grievous wounds and once people start understanding healers (and i have seen it already in action) the sustain in this game is absurd. The only thing I can say is that most support ults aren't "No one can die now buttons" but more so "Lets run them over" buttons. Another thing is keeping ult charge each round and the team ups buffs ranging from damage boost to literal tracer recall and free revives and extra abilities. Should be something looked at once competitive becomes available.
I'd also like to see some balancing. I got master in OW2 and can see things progressing to certain characters already. There are some characters that just dominate lobbies. Luna, Jeff, Mantis are must picks for their ultimate/kit alone. Lots of the melee characters are being dominated by hitscan. Tanks are fine except for a few. Being strong is fine but some ults and abilities just stop you from having fun forcing a switch. These are just my opinions and subject to change. I don't think anything is broken but some characters have unfair advantages towards a majority of the rooster.
I can see where that's a thing but I'll like to bring up that every character behaves based on what they are supposed to do not what players want them to do. That's where most people get the balancing wrong, you are supposed to learn what the main idea of the character is and you must adept to that. OW makes these characters based on a mixture of things players want, players don't adept to the characters instead the characters are adapted to them. This is why it seems like there's a lack of creativity at OW, they put themselves in a loop that made their players less independent so that they take whatever they release. That's the major factor of Rivals, these characters already exist and already have their main missions placed down. There is no balancing a game where every character is a hard counter to another character in the game. Players actively need to adept to whatever enemy comes their way, hence why the meta of this game won't be stable if players use the old way of thinking. This game is not OW, they might share the "hero shooter" title but aside from that players need to build something new and this is why I like this game, after years on end we finally got a game that forces its players to actually think instead of being meta tier list machines
I find there's a weird im-balance of melee quality. Black panther for example is far too easily punished for playing him his intended way and that's to mark enemies, dash, mark again etc... this style is cumbersome and easy to mess up resulting in his immediate death. Then there's iron fist, another melee character of the same difficulty (by the games standards), who just dances between targets with no risk in his playstyle. Heck he can absolutely destroy Iron man and storm. A melee character.
Ngl I’ve had more fun in these past 24 hours of playing MR than I’ve had the last 5 years of playing OW. To me, MR is better lol. Will it kill OW tho? No. The pay pigs alone will keep OW alive for years to come with the non stop Kiriko and mercy skins
And I don't think it will kill overwatch because it doesn't feel like overwatch It feels different and because of that I don't think it will replace overwatch
Something I noticed during my limited time playing, Strategist and Vanguard are fun to play. Tank and Support in OW can be very hit or miss (especially tanks) for me. But in MR I had so much fun running and gunning on Rocket Raccoon. Or dancing around cover as Adam Warlock. Hell, even when I missed Cloak And Dagger's Dark Teleportation and my whole team died. It was just fun! The characters just feel more lively, probably because of the origins as over the top comic book characters. Whatever the case, I'm excited for the game, it's been a while since I've seen a Live Service game that's actually fun.
That's very much why I play support so much. I found most of my friends never wanted to heal or support and I've never been all that good at gaming, especially quick or accurate shooter style stuff, so I've fallen in love with being a support. It's fun to keep your friends alive in the game! Plus the roles tend to be very forgiving. Getting to spit an infinite range healing water gun vaguely all over my friends has been quite the lovely experience.
XDefiant achieved 1 million players within the first two and a half hours of its launch window in May 2024, and averaged 300,000 concurrent players within the first 48 hours it was available to play. The player count in the first few days matters but also not so important😂
Yeah it seems like games will explode for a few weeks and then die out after about a month or two. Saw that with a ton of games the past year or two. Palworld comes to mind.
440k players for the first day isn't that insane, in fact it's worse considering the Marvel IP attached to it, should be bringing in way more players. I forget which "overwatch killer" it was because like 8 have been released this year but they also had several hundred thousand players the first week and now a few months later its at 40-50k on average.
Considering the amount of players on console, 444k on Steam alone is definitely insane. If OW2 and The Finals are still going strong as F2P games, this game is already outpacing them both (and yes, that's likely from the IP alone).
@@scarletspyder1165 yeah I don’t believe it. Every other tank can protect your team and he can’t secure a kill if the enemy team is in any way competent. Yeah if you dive into a bunch of Neanderthals with no healers you’ll do fine. But against their ancestors who had time to evolve and develop higher brain functioning to play video games you just jump in, exist in the back while all your damage gets healed, and then run away. That’s best case scenario.
@@zeporion6091enough with the weird and forced details. It’s so tryhard. Look, he’s not a tank that protects his team by design. He is literally offensively oriented and creates space solely based on that idea. Dive doesn’t typically get rewarded by just existing. You literally do need to take advantage of bad positioning. You ARE a tank, so he does do good damage but he also has a large healthpool with 2 over health abilities. That’s why tanks don’t do duelist level damage. That’s why typically, a duelist is there to clean up bc they should help their tanks😂.
Flats, you have summed up everything I have wanted to say about this game. I really hope it doesn't become competitively balanced and changed to just be a homogenized overwatch clone, but with Marvel. The game right now if fun, team up attacks are so much fun, and I enjoy just hopping in and playing a few matches. I dont want Net Ease to try and make this into an Esport because NOT EVERY TEAM SHOOTER NEEDS TO BE ONE.
The art style, stylization of the models and the shading in this game is phenomenal, in my opinion. Not sure about the actual gameplay itself, but visually-speaking it is just chef's kiss.
A good chunk of the roster has the same "gun" with the same fire rate. The production isn't as tight. The voice lines are borderline annoying. The gameplay is a little "clunkier". It's good. It's just not that good.
overwatch and rivals both have a lot to learn from each other. they fixed the issues that prevented me (linux user) from playing. i think rivals could really learn from overwatch on visual clarity, and overwatch could learn a lot from rivals on hero design (and also keeping your ult charge between rounds of control)
I genuinely hope this game doesn't balance about being competative. Just balance character about being fun and strong. I loved OW2 but it sorta felt like it became too serious. I can have fun with it from time to time. Also, to hell with role lock too. I like being able to switch from damage to tank to healer. If need be in a game.
@@dmaster2keep telling this to your self 😂 Overwatch is unbalanced, boring game without good content and everything is 20 bucks. My OW1 skins that I got for free from lootboxes are now 15-20 😂
@@Calaman228 if you think most of them aren't streaming it because it's new and they are getting paid then you are 13. These guys have an entire brand built around ow. It's the same reason creators hate fortnite but been streaming it everyday for years. It's business and a lot of people will still prefer ow over rivals, so content creators will still make content for it because of that
Honestly out of all the recent and current hero shooters rivals is definitely the most similar to Overwatch (while of course still being different calm down), and the game feels good but my issue is all the issues with rivals past "oh this character is op, and oh this character is op" is the same issues overwatch has sure it has some different issues as well but a lot of big flaws in Overwatch I feel in Rivals. And it feels weird because it makes me feel like the rivals creators (or at least the one or so that actually truly had a passion with this game and wasn't all just business business) made this game as almost a 'overwatch bad I'll do it better' and walked into so many of the same mistakes. Of course as you said there are still some choices OW made that Rivals haven't I'm just concerned. Because it's not like these are issues with hero shooters because games like TF2 and Paladins don't have these issues. I honestly don't know but I wish the best for this game and believe it can be great it just needs to change some shit.
The thing about Rivals being able to work without role queue is the team-up abilities, the bonuses u could get would potentially offset not having one more tank or one more support
I'm with Flats. I generally don't do multiplayer games much because they're competitive, which isn't very fun for me. The multiplayer games I do like are the ones where you can go into it without having to lock in and still have fun. With Halo, I could just go into a big team battle and get into a vehicle or make it my personal mission to take down a tank that is camping the midground, or in team slayer, I could just W-key and lob stickies at anything that moved. In og Overwatch, I could just decide I liked a character (whether it be aesthetic, backstory, or kit) and play them for weeks, and I would have fun even if I sucked. My team could get stomped, and I'd still have a good time. I'd get better at the game over time, which I liked, but it was because I was having fun and so that I could have more fun. With both franchises, they've gotten more competitive (at least it feels like it to me), and I get frustrated with them after only a few rounds. That's fine for people that like the hardcore competitive stuff, but it's sad for me. I've yet to play Rivals, but if it focuses on being broken like Flats says, I could see myself actually sinking a good bit of time into it.
Also your, right these two game do feel different enough and it’s making me struggle to find characters I wanna play. I’ll pick someone up and realise they’re kinda like whatever overwatch hero. But not enough to feel how I want it to feel and so I move to the next character. That’ll get easier with time but in my first 3 hours I couldn’t find a tank I liked
I love the idea of them going the full balls to the wall power fantasy. This is marvel we are taking about with immortal gods and beings that just defy the laws of nature. I really wanna see them go for weird shit like having Prof X be a support character who hides around and projects his mind onto teamates or get Ghost rider in who just rides around the battlefield on his motorcycle and if you kill him you can steal it. Honestly I think they could take this in a very Heros of The Storm way with just some absolute whacky shit.
11:09 I agree with her so much, I haven't played yet but I heard so much about it killing overwatch that I didn't want it to be super good because I didn't want overwatch to die because I still love it and I want it to thrive.
My favorite part of this game is you can still call out a widow, and people’s brains just register.
Reminds me of Valorant naming their 1 shot sniper rifle the Operator. I'm 99% certain they did that so you could call it the op (AWP).
If someone calls out widow and I'm not on a 250+ hp character, I'm leaving lobby.

I think that catering to the people that want to play for fun is just so much healthier for the game rather than balancing for competitive players
It needs to have both or it will die, competition is what keeps the games going in the long run

I was also the person who picked up the "less popular" roles like tank and support, because i was less mechanically gifted, and I wanted to at least allow everyone else to have fun. Like flats, I came to OW1 on PC from console in 2018, and I sucked at aiming and poking.
In OW1 I basically followed flats mentality of "Im not as good as the 5 dudes playing dps on the team, so Ill just play tank/sup and enable them and have fun doing that." 12:28
But honestly, now ive gotten pretty good mechanically.

What I think would be interesting is if they implemented a 3 per role limit. It would still allow you to swap between roles mid game but would also prevent those 4 or 5 dps blowout rounds where you rolled because everyone else played dps.
Or a 1 per class minimum.
I was about to comment this lul. I agree
Much better than forced 222
@@Pikachu-qr4yb i cant see how this could ever be enforced besides forcing roles, wich would be bad
No
Yeah, like KarQ is right about it sometimes sucks having no tank/healer, but at the same time a bunch of characters can kinda fill the tank role.
Gotta keep in mind everyone is trying to all the characters too 😊
@@Laniakea_SuperNo Tank characters in a marvel game? IMPOSSIBLE!
This is super true. Need to double the maps in the next 6 months.
They revealed 9 new maps I think they are introducing in season 1 to season 2
Didn't they say they are going to be adding a map a season
@ yea and multiple characters each season instead of just 1
I think my biggest gripe thus far is that it's not immediateiyl obvious which side of a match you're on, especially on something like payload maps where the enemy team can take control of it. Just something a bit more obvious would be nice.
But I think I generally agree, I'm thoroughly enjoying Rivals probably more than I thought I would but it doesn't quite itch the same scratch as OW does for me at least
12:13 this. I'm really liking the game but having max 60 fps on lowest graphics is really annoying, I hope they work out more optimization.
I just played an hour of the game and really enjoyed playing Loki, he felt easy to pick up and was very satisfying to play
Loki is fun as hell, he has a low skill floor but high skill ceiling
I played a match as him, he feels so close to being cool but its really annoying that the swap cooldown is so long
Yeah. They give him a high difficulty rating which baffles me. He clicked so well.
I want to give Magneto a try too.
“If everything is broken, nothing is broken” Ahhh the good old og MW2 mentality and I’m here for it
Glad I wasn't the only one thinking about this comparison
The only thing I want them to add is more ways to heal outside of strategists. Whether it’s a self heal passive like overwatch did or some other way I think that will help solve some of the role lock problems because having no heals on your team makes every source of damage you take so much more threatening.
Yeah remind me of the classic game mode for ow
It felt like shit having no self heal
I spent like a solid 30 seconds on 1 game just standing there hoping for heals because self heals aren't in classic

This is basically my feelings aswell. Im glad Flats enjoys it, ill gladly take more content on it

i think captain america is so fun, damage comes from grouped up enemies to bounce your shield on basic attack, and your dash is used to get out
Getting a Thor too makes him so much fun
6:20 OMG THIS IS THE REALEST THING EVER, THIS IS THE EXACT REASON I PLAY TANK OR SUPPORT
yeah, pretty much identical reasoning for why I main support
I’m an Adam warlock main and it’s so much fun
@ venom for me
this has nothing to do with what you said besides the fact i just coincidentally paused the video at 6:20 and started reading comment and saw your time stamp for 6:20😭😭
Ive noticed lag issues only appear when people play doctor strange and use the portal.

Doesn’t make sense because the moment a meta forms there will be people asking to switch to win
Hope this stands the test of time and doesnt die out after a few months. Maybe gets ow back on track but wishful thinking
Honestly i like Tank on Rivals. Magneto and Venom and just generally fun to use
i tried all the tanks, REALLY tried to like venom, but i just hate all of them, maybe it's just my playstyle but i am not getting any kills and am just still getting shredded anyway.
@@jeffboy4231 thats been my experience with tank on release... i imagine its just because of my lack of experience with that playstyle. Where as if i play punisher im mvp half the time going like 25-3 lol
@@jeffboy4231
Yeah, that really not what you're supposed to do when playing Tank.
Genuinely mix of ow1 doom and ball imo love him
i have 2 complaints with tanks, most supports out dps them and that they lose most 1v1s because they get healed by every source of healing
Valorant was a breath of fresh air after OW. It just feels SATISFYING
He's one of em. i’ve only had a pc for about 2 years now and i’ve only ever really played overwatch because it was all i really knew. so inherently i feel like rivals is really fun to me cause EVERYONE is new. that being said, it’s been a long time since i tried a new game and genuinely had fun. i suck at it, i get lost on the maps, half the time im the only support character, etc.
you’d think that’d make it a miserable experience but it doesn’t because it’s FUN. with overwatch ive fallen into only being able to play for 30 minutes before getting drained and bored. but so far with rivals i played for hours on end cause it was just fun to play and learn. obviously a lot of that is because it’s a new game with new characters but overall its just been a fun experience. and i honestly agree in hoping that they go the opposite routes that overwatch has gone. it feels like such a breath of fresh air
6:40 I completely get you Flatts, I have the same but with a support.
Same, I love playing support. It helps that the healers in MR are actually fun to play
Calling 21 old is crazy lol
I mean, for the purposes of competitive gaming, it IS older. 8 years ago I could brute force my way into higher ranks without breaking a sweat via my reaction time and adaptability alone, these days I need to plan, commit, and lean much more into strategy and teamplay. Our reaction times are simply worse after the teens.
@@DragonEdge10 be healthy and it wont be a problem. Fighter pilots would shit on you best reaction time on their worst day, and they dont just retire suddenly at 30. There are 60 year olds that could shit on most peoples coordination
@@tarkelson2457 You realise it still scales right? Those people that would shit on me at 30 would be even more quick at 18.
This is something I still felt from the beta, the characters feel very slow out of combat and the objectives don't feel very clear/weighty(idk how to explain it) but alot of the times winning and losing feels so underwhelming sometimes I don't even realise we win/lost until it just happens
i feel like you mean that sometimes when overtime happens, not a lot of those fights are eventful. is that what u mean?
@@Game0607s no he mean the UI/UX and audio design doesn't communicate well that you're going to loose, in OW when you're about to loose you get a loud music, multiple warning and tons of UI elements

Then they shouldnt have even distinguished between tank, dps, and support. Hell even the devs on their stream were consistently playing 2-2-2.
I became a tank main for the same reason, sometimes we just want to have fun playing with our friends even if that means making a sacrifice. I am thankful for gamers like you in the community.

6.4 million average daily OW2 players in November 2024 says otherwise lol
I think Blizzard has finally started to improve and making some good changes. The only issue currently with OW is the questionable balance and skin favouritism.
Overwatch isn't dead, literally has been growing since season 9 with 40k players daily just on steam
A deadgame isn't in the top 20 most played games on team and in the top 10 most played competitive shooter on steam
@@neoramaredzone8544 Yeah if that natural role fitting could start happening soon that'd be great

its the characters sound effects. its nearly impossible to tell if someone is creeping up on you unless you're watching your back and other second. and same for ults, you can hear them popping it but it doesnt come from anywhere, you just know its being used. maybe thats just an ow players gripe but it would be very helpful to know if someone is creeping around even if its just a soft footstep
It shouldn't be an Overwatch killer, it should be an Overwatch Competitor. This will make both games strive to be better.

I think that Rivals has a LOT of potential, is not just a really fun game, is also a game where you can see how much love and effort the devs put into it- It's amazing, really. I didn't even realized how much I missed playing a game where you could actually SEE how much the devs care about the game and their players
That being said, I personally think the only problems that I've experienced so far is that the game is not very friendly with people that doesn't have a rlly good pc, the optimization needs a lot of work and the worst thing I've been experiencing so far is just how fast you need to be to log in a match.
It sucks so much 'cause we all just want to play the game and have fun but we get left behind bc of this
I just really hope they do something about it, because I rlly don't want to uninstall the game and I want to keep playing it but sometimes I just can't!!!
I do think Rivals has exactly the same set of problems OW1 had, and I’m curious to see what they do for future solutions

But, occasionally, I wanna go to dps too🤷♂️
I also don't want constant nerf everything like ow did either.
It'd be nice if it did, but it probably won't. People take competitive games stupidly serious.
That's why I mute voice and text comms on every online game. Makes my gaming sessions way more enjoyable and I actually win way more this way lol
Once competitive comes to the scene that will die down, the crazy people will go there and the quick match should be more fun….. I hope
Trust me, counter rival will come soon enough lmao
Idk, i insta killed a lot of characters using her combo, but i still understand your point that compared to other characters, she lacks a bit or too much
I think she has a high skill ceiling, she dominated my lobby
most melee heroes have 1 shots kinda but melee heroes requires dive and coordination you need someone to take most of the attention while you sneak around and line up your 1 shot combo and magik is very very good up close since her portals are on a short cooldown and the reason your not able to escape on iron fist is because your probably auto piloting hes melee yes it dash but thats when u want it to simply let go on attack and triple jump away but the only thing they need to buff is the melee range to like 5m-6m
My computer made a noise I've never heard before when trying to run Rivals last night, guess I'm trapped in Overwatch
OW1 launch 😢
Change the audio to "focus" mode and lower the visual effects quality for that pure sweaty experience.
the honeymoon phase will fade so for now enjoy it, If the dev team is on top on the updates, balances and new heroes.... this game will be strong and rival... overwatch.
Need to do like Fortnite did honestly, that’s what a lot of these new games miss. Sure it was years ago but if you remember when Fortnite first dropped people just considered it some pubg clone but because the devs stayed on top of the game and stayed involved in the community it reached insane levels
about 6 characters have been leaked already
Yeah, everyone's loving it, myself included. Let's see how it is in 2 weeks when there a meta and 5 insta locks DPS in ranked
3:33 I think the thing about everyone being broken is becuase people want to play their favorite marvel character and they can’t if the character is horrible
i absolutely love the potential no role queue has, especially with the team ups.

I want competitive roll queue
Will NOT play comp if it’s not role que lol
@ fr i dont need 1 support 5 dps
Dive characters have no way to defend themselves and healing is too strong already
Two things I’d switch is a buff to wolverine and lessen the length of Luna ult. Her ult makes her and her team invincible for way to long
I find there's a weird im-balance of melee quality.
And I don't think it will kill overwatch because it doesn't feel like overwatch
It feels different and because of that I don't think it will replace overwatch
Exactly man. If anything, OW is the OW killer.
@@ireallydontknow278I agree it feels different in a good way imo. we will see in a month tho cause that’s what matters

440k players for the first day isn't that insane, in fact it's worse considering the Marvel IP attached to it, should be bringing in way more players. Considering the amount of players on console, 444k on Steam alone is definitely insane. If OW2 and The Finals are still going strong as F2P games, this game is already outpacing them both (and yes, that's likely from the IP alone).
@@InsomniacUNit’s also not even the only pc platform, it’s also on epic
@@InsomniacUNfinals… not really going strong anymore 😂
For the love of god buff Venom and Hulk i do NOT care if it’s a skill issue
Buff hulk not venom
You do know venom is literally like the best tank right?
@@scarletspyder1165 yeah I don’t believe it. Every other tank can protect your team and he can’t secure a kill if the enemy team is in any way competent. Yeah if you dive into a bunch of Neanderthals with no healers you’ll do fine. But against their ancestors who had time to evolve and develop higher brain functioning to play video games you just jump in, exist in the back while all your damage gets healed, and then run away. That’s best case scenario.
@zeporion6091 that's a flat out skill issue bro, Venom is basically unkillable when played right
@@zeporion6091enough with the weird and forced details.
These arent early thought, this shit premeditative
A good chunk of the roster has the same "gun" with the same fire rate. The production isn't as tight. The voice lines are borderline annoying. The gameplay is a little "clunkier".
It's good. It's just not that good.
I cant remember last time i had so much fun in a game
play a singleplayer game then😭
overwatch and rivals both have a lot to learn from each other. they fixed the issues that prevented me (linux user) from playing. i think rivals could really learn from overwatch on visual clarity, and overwatch could learn a lot from rivals on hero design (and also keeping your ult charge between rounds of control)
To each their own.. As someone who loves OW, it does suck to see all our OW streamers go to rivals 😢
It's new and they're getting paid to steam it right now. Most will go back pretty soon
@@dmaster2keep telling this to your self 😂
Overwatch is unbalanced, boring game without good content and everything is 20 bucks.
It's business and a lot of people will still prefer ow over rivals, so content creators will still make content for it because of that
@@dmaster2 ITS A BETTER GAME PAYED ORR NOT PAYED
@@dmaster2 You are 13 for not accepting the fact that OW is dogsh*t
Worth noting Venom is one of the most funk tanks I’ve ever played in a game period. His brawler mixed with bullet sponge gameplay is so satisfying.
Loved this review. Watched you do a lot of overwatch videos, and I would love for you to do more marvel videos
Honestly I think they could take this in a very Heros of The Storm way with just some absolute whacky shit.
great take, always enjoy these segments
11:09 I agree with her so much, I haven't played yet but I heard so much about it killing overwatch that I didn't want it to be super good because I didn't want overwatch to die because I still love it and I want it to thrive.
