I’ve seen a lot of good games on that site, and they get better when you use TurboWarp, the ultimate Scratch mod, which allows you to do WAY more than normal Scratch, like packaging your project into a ROM to run on other computers as an .exe file, saving your project with local storage so you never have to worry about losing your data on bigger games like RPGs or collect-a-thon platformers, and even being able to make your games compatible with Newgrounds. I remember my Grade 10 computer science class forcing us to use Turing. I know I hated it at the time but I look back at my code 10 years later and it was actually surprisingly readable. Apparently high schools in Ontario are finally starting to switch to teaching Python, at least in later grades, but I do still wonder if there's grade 10 students out there suffering with Turing 😂

I remember my Grade 10 computer science class forcing us to use Turing. I know I hated it at the time but I look back at my code 10 years later and it was actually surprisingly readable. Apparently high schools in Ontario are finally starting to switch to teaching Python, at least in later grades, but I do still wonder if there's grade 10 students out there suffering with Turing 😂
YEAH SAME THING HERE LOL. Turing was what I used in my grade 10 comp sci class (Ontario as well) and while it WAS doable, the fact that theyre switching to python now is great. My heart goes out to all the "ball.t" or "put / get" turing-ers out there hahaha
