Hello!:) Thank you for waiting for a new video! At this time, I have prepared the performance with Beethoven’s Ode to Joy (German: An die Freude) from Symphony No. 9. Liszt arranged Symphony No. 9 for solo piano. It is too long to play it here. And, it’s not easy to prepare whole parts. So, I rearranged it for this video. I think that lots of people know this melody. I hope that you guys like this performance. Thank you so much! Have a great day!
Have a great day
Can you please play moonlight sonata first movement next? I love your performance
Love these symphonies. Could you try Dvoraks Symphony Nr.9 if theres a proper piano arrangement?
It’s very good, congratulations ❤️
@@arno_grnfld455 you too
As always Kassia never fails to impress me. I remember this from 2 years ago when she had to put 2 clocks and her phone on her grand piano to prove she isnt faking. And now she has become a beloved artist in classical cummunity
Great choice
Great playing
Keep up the terrific work kassia!
Thank you so much for your words, Ali:)💕 I am so glad that you remember me!

Honestly, I think Beethoven's 9th symphony has to be one of the most harmonically complex symphonies ever

I was listening to this piece at full volume & my next door neighbor liked it so much that he threw a brick through my window so he could hear it better! I feel so honoured by their genuine appreciation for this masterpiece. 🎇

WAIT WHAT 😂😂😂!! Sorry too😂❤
This was unexpected! Very nice performance. This is one of the piano classics everyone knows, too. Very nice Kassia!
Thank you so much all the time, Vuk!!:)💕

Wow!!! Beethoven symphony no.9…It's a really cool song with a chorus, but it's really cool to play with just the piano!! It's a song I listened to a lot when I went to see an orchestra performance in the past! Happy to hear such a wonderful masterpiece!!
I always thank kassia for uploading. Kassia is so good at playing!
This is the first arrangement i listen that brings up all the emotion an intensity that i could only feel listening to the full orchestra
Beethoven couldn't even hear his own masterpiece
He had this melody in his head for several years
Even since he released it to the world it was and will continue to be stuck in everyone’s heads

at 3:06 looks like you just smash everything you can on the key. I know nothing about piano but I absolutely in love when watching people playing it. Sometimes I can feel the emotions I almost cried
This gave me a chill of nostalgia, happiness, and calm.
Great music! This music is as good as Liszt's music!
Thanks much!!:)💕
You are Liszt bruh
It's also the EU's anthem
Actually Liszt wrote this version for Beethoven's to Ode to joy LOL
@Schuyler Bacn beet
This is an awesome rendition, perhaps the closest only-piano piece that can give the same vibes as an orchestral rendition of Ode to Joy. And I also liked the way you skipped through certain portions, which maintained the mood. Awesome!
1:35 i know the energy flowing through the veins and arteries when you stretch out your hand to ring the octaves.
Awesome! 😀 I love how it's your arrangement too. 🙂 Pretty cool you uploaded this today since I'm going to see this symphony in concert in 2 days! 😃

Hi Kassia, will you play some Johann Strauss's pieces like Blue Danube or Die Fledermaus in next videos ?
- Personally, I intend to leanrn Blue Danube, but I couldn't find any good enough performances on RUclips to learn, and since I love you the most among piano-RUclipsrs, so I really hope that you will make a video about it in future.
- Otherwise, Die Fledermaus is kind of more difficult and not my intending to learn, but this piece has very less piano verson on RUclips, and if it had, it wouldn't be good enough. And that why it would be very great to enjoy a piano version of this piece from Kassia, who is very very skillful and talented
- Oh, and if you are wondering which piece to play next, I think you can consider Offenbach - Can Can, or Rondo in D of the greatest Mozart
I will check them:) Thank you!:)💕

I didn't know this piece got so intense! Those octaves are crazy, well done.
You may think the octaves is hard, but the right hand chords are harder, Im saying this as someone who tried to learn this
The octaves are way harder than the right hand chords. Also this is a simplified version of the passage, in the original liszt score the left hand plays always octaves while here there are some single note runs
Whenever I hear it I instantly think of the party at "Nakatomi Plaza"

Each time I listen to this, I feel unity and peace in the world. A feeling where everyone treats one another as brother and sister. Beethoven truly was ahead of his time. Thanks for playing this.
Beethoven's pieces are really awesome:) Thank you for your words!💕
Beethoven's 9th Symphony -
An absolute staple in the Classical Canon. A brilliant composition by Beethoven on its own, and to take it a step forward, a brilliant transcription, arrangement, and an extraordinary performance by Kassia.
Ode to Joy was the first piece I ever learned on the piano, and this performance brings back so many memories.
Astonishing, is it not? How this piece is still considered one of the greatest symphonic works of all time, enduring the centuries since its publication and performance in 1824, just under three years before the composer's death in 1827.
Contradicting the rest of the piece, which is in D Minor, Ode to Joy is in the key of D Major. This is possibly Beethoven's greatest work and is, by far, one of the greatest pieces in the entirety of the Classical Era, and, dare I say, of all time.
Bravo, Kassia.
Beethoven is my favorite pianist.
