Yall are such a blessing. You are a huge reason why my son and I started woodworking. He does pens and I do bigger stuff. We live in Uvalde and I began before the shooting happened which I knew most of the kids, families, both teachers involved... I made projects along with most of the other people in our community. What we made raised over 25k....a few of them were yours and Matt's plans. God works in amazing ways even in the darkest times. Please pass this along to Matt.

You two are the best. You are beyond generous and are what a TRUE and loving Christian is. I have pancreatic cancer and right I feel blessed because there is no cancer in my abdomen. I have metastasis to my lungs but all the nodule are very small and my oncologist said I was very stable. I am a beginner woodworker and watch your channel. I'm trying to come up with some kind of smallish item I can make and sell to donate the proceeds to Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, UT to aid in finding a cure for this horrible disease. ( I am being treated at Huntsman). I want to ask Matt and Amy to please say a prayer for me. Although I am not religious I absolutely BELIEVE in the power of prayer. Thank you.

I've got sweating eyes now, too. I've been working wood for about 25 years, off and on. Absolutely love it. I recently turned 76 and am still making plans for projects. I've been working on a tackle box for one of my grandsons. It will be a masterpiece once I'm done as it is made with black walnut, purpleheart, and maple that I ripped to 2" x 1/4" slats and glued together. I finished it with polyurethane and buffed to a glass satin finish. I still have to get it assembled with box joints. I'm a bit nervous about that. It has taken me a long time to get this done as I work outside on my driveway. The weather has not been cooperative with my work schedule. Fortunately, my grandson is being very patient with me! I have plans to get a canopy to work under. Hopefully that will help get this done. I'm going to Walmart tomorrow to see what they have.

Great Job, Matt and Amy!! It is good see you are able to pay God's kindness forward. I lost all my rentals during covid and the last house I had took $60,000 worth of damages. It took a while to get over it, but now I am able to move forward and help Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars again. The two years to fix the house myself really took away the emotional reward of helping those in need. Many do not understand the blessings you receive from helping others. As a woodworker, I make plaques on CNC for those veterans so they know they are not forgotten. Keep up the good work!! God Bless you on your journey!!
