Great video, I did not realize they had you going after 890s now. It has been a while since I have done an ERT.

Would you consider this craft to be a fail with full laser build, weather it's repeaters or cannons for ERT? I do enjoy the Brrrrrrt, just not the constant reloading.

The problem with an energy build right now on the C model is the capacitor isn't that great so shot count would be low. Each energy weapon pulls from the same capacitor so the more weapons you add the less shots per weapon per charge cycle each will start with. A full energy build would give each about 20 shots and that isn't even half a pass. The reason ballistics are popular is they have solid sustained damage and no energy cycle. It is faster to kill with ballistics and reload than to do the fight with an energy build. You will take more damage to your ship and still need to repair from long sustained combat. I punch out the fighters first then the large targets, ERTs are almost all large so you can concentrate fire on primary, but an energy build has to drop the shields then work the same spot. Ballistics ignore shields to an extent. In the end, ballistics are faster even with reloads.
