I have cystic fibrosis and fishing is my favorite activity. Unfortunetly my illnes drove me to the point where i am lucky if i go fishing once per year. The fact that you guys did this makes me happy and gives me hope i will get well and once again enjoy fishing like i did once!
Keep it up, push yourself to the limits to make sure u do what you love although unfortunate people like yourself have cystic fibrosis, you must push yourself good luck for the future.
This episode resurrected a 60 year old memory. When I was a kid and obsessed with fishing I read an identification guide, where the chapters of all the fish species began with an illustrated humorous coat of arms for each group - sunfish, pike, trout, etc. The coat of arms for catfish was a shield containing the frontal view of a catfish face (just like your video shot) beneath which was a scroll with the motto “Any damn fool knows a catfish”. Thanks so much for your videos. I only wish they were more frequent.

This is amazing I appreciate how carl chose cystic fibrosis, it’s not a very common illness and it makes me happy to carl supporting it my nephew has cystic fibrosis but he has the double gene I guess you could say so he is more worse off than others and this video is truly heart touching, thank you carl and Alex

I wouldn’t call an overpopulation of one species a good thing but each to their own 👌🏻 lakes here in Aus you can catch a lot more than a pike and carp.

I just wanted to say you both got me back out Carp fishing again . It has been a few years since I went last . I seen the videos of you here in Michigan and I sent the link to my brother . We both went out the next morning and I went out again yesterday by myself . I forgot how much fun carp fishing is. Keep posting these great videos . You guys are doing a great job .
I'm always amazed at how technical your fishing for carp is. I've only ever used a worm, pieces of corn or bit of bread to catch them. Either freeline or under a small float. It's really interesting to watch.
Another great video lads, some really nice fish there and a great choice of charity. I had a mate at my cricket club who died a few years ago from complications from a lung transplant due to his cystic fibrosis, it's a truly horrific disorder.

If you don’t like sun cream (like me) buy P20. It’s a spray but isn’t like moisturiser it’s more like an oil. One spray lasts 12 hours. It’s expensive though (£25)

Serious note on sun cream I went fishing last year and got super badly burned on my legs they got completely blistered and I couldn’t have even the slightest pressure on them for over a month and they’re still not the same colour as they were before and burn even quicker now. stay safe out there and good luck

I was so happy last weekend after 5 sessions around 3 hours each i finally caught my first barbel and it was 8.6 very decent for the river i fished at
