- LEGO is about to release yet another stadium, the LEGO 10299 Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu. Not my cup of tea LEGO Stadium's if I'm being honest but this one... surprised me.

Weirdly enough as someone who isn't really into sports, I like the stadium sets. They look great, and I could imagine fans of the respective teams go nuts over them. I could easily imagine an alternate universe version of myself cleaning out her bank account to support her favorite team.
I second this comment.
I third this comment!
YES I AM ONE OF THEM (REAL MADRID FAN) Can't wait for tomorrow morning to go get it (:
@Danielle Anderson you read my mind, real madrid fan here and I am soon about to be short 350 bucks
I thought the same thing. I wish they were bigger. 1.5-2x size would be perfect.
lol, I was thinking today about a piece exactly like the 3:42 Nice review, as always. I hope they do the Benito Villamarín someday.
This is so helpfull for the corner cylinder pieces to finally fixate them. Only hoping it comes quicly in any colours other than black.
The part at 3:42, 80015, is new for 2022, but it's already been in some Friends sets earlier this year (Canal Houseboat - 41702, Pet Clinic - 41695)
@@neothermic1 And the city museum too, released some time ago. N°60008
@@mrmckinney2005 Nope, That set uses a brick (48092) not a plate, and the brick is 4 wide not 5 wide. 80015 is a new part from 2022, not going to be in a set from 2013!
@@neothermic1 Oh yes true!
I’m really hoping for a San Siro set. Being an AC Milan fan, that would be incredible, but I also think it’s one of the most interesting looking stadiums and could be made very nicely using lego pieces. The many layered, spiraling pillars around the stadium’s perimeter and red support beams on the stadium’s roof in particular would look amazing.
It would also fit the theme of having official stadium sets for some of the sport’s most successful teams, and Inter Milan.
San Siro could definitely work really well, I'm neutral when it comes to Italian football but it's definitely to me the most iconic Italian stadium when it comes to architecture
I wouldn't even be surprised right now if it was being designed right now
At the pace they are going in releasing new stadiums it could be a few years since there are a lot of teams. But i think San Siro would look really interesting but i think they will definitly have to use technic wires for the supporting beams on the roof, or they could make new park but i doubt they would. It might be better for that set to come out later because lego generally improves
San siro will probably be demolished in a few years
I’m a huge football fan so I have all 3 stadiums. I’m a Aston Villa fan myself but I’d love a San Siro set. I would however be suprised if Anfield isn’t next, fingers crossed tho!
I would go nuts over ANFIELD set
Ah now you have your official Tiago Stadium haha!! I might get this just for the parts
So I've been a lifetime LEGO and Real Madrid fan so I'd like to share my thoughts on this. Ever since they released Old Trafford (Man U being my second favorite club) I have wanted them to do the Bernabéu. The model is gorgeous and looks amazing. However, I'm a little surprised with the timing, since the stadium is currently being renovated and redesigned. The model is very accurate to the old classic look, but it sure is interesting that not so long after it's release, the actual stadium will look completely different. 350 is a lot and there are other big sets like Ninjago City Gardens or The Daily Bugle that I would like to get before this one, but I sure want to get it eventually. Great review Thiago!
Old stadium is iconic so I don’t think the timing matters
I think they chose to release it now so that they could produce the old version of the stadium - it's certainly a classic!
This is a “ real “, set, unlike the others you mentioned, me personally all I buy is real life sets, and not make believe ones
@@paulfarrugia9120 the "real" is just part of the futbol club's full name. Its not just team Madrid, its team Real Madrid
@@ernestb556 am not on about the name of the football team, I mean in real life, it’s not a made up set, fake
Another thorough review. I love how you point out and show all the new elements clearly and let us know about the 'building experience'. It's big with me too.
The detail on these are awesome. I hope they do Wembley.
I agree, only if it is Queen at live aid.
Yh Wembley would be great because it is used for many different events aswell as being a giant football stadium which hosts lots of different matches. 😊👍
@@Definitely-aDuck That was the old stadium. They demolished it and now there is a new one
@@mariob.c.9266 That is very sad.
Anfield would be way better because it is more historic and iconic
I know a minifigure scaled one is almost impossible, but man, that'd be so cool
went to the legoland in the germany and they do have a minifigure scaled Allianz Arena which is very impressive, but I think it would by far be the biggest lego set ever if it were released
@@natick2958 I just checked the Lego website to see how much by far you meant by "by far".
So yeah, I guess a set with 1 million pieces would by far be the biggest set 🤣
(the size is 5m*4.5m*1m L*W*H)
@@Jehty_ I checked photos of it after commenting to refresh my memory and it was bigger than I remembered so yeah... it is massive when compared to actual retail lego sets but we ve seen a life size x wing built so still small compared to that lmao
Minifig scale is about 1:50 so it would be over a metre high, the pitch would be over 2x1.5 metres and the stadium itself would be the size of a small car...
@@MacGuy3135 And its price would be the same as a small car
Cant believe they made a stadium out of tiago’s name, what a madlad
I love these 4-5 minute videos. They are not too long are very good and also entertaining. 👍👏😊⚽️
Great video Tiago! I'm not particularly a fan of the stadium sets either, but I agree with you that this is the best one so far. And how nice of your former co-workers to include a sticker with your name on it. 😂
*I'm hoping for the Allianz Arena for the next station set!*
It will surely be amazing like this one!

When was this revealed?? I like to think I keep relatively up-to-date on LEGO news, and I've literally never heard of it until now.
Great set and review though!
1st March!
If LEGO® continues releasing stadiums, the "Allianz Arena" (FC Bayern München) will probably feature the most repetitive and boring building experience ever.
I don't know anything about stadium, soccer stuff. But if you can imagine will boring, maybe never be a set. 😅
Should do Anfield since every stand is different
No, Camp Nou was…. Like omg that stadium was a chore to get through! Don’t get me wrong, when done it was nice to have and look at but the building experience…. Out of the 32 or so bags, at least 23-25 had the same instructions… it was not fun
@@KAK_PAN it’s football, not SoCcEr
I love the trend towards producing sets for people not into Lego in the first place, more of that pls
It looks like a far better build than a display piece, not my niche but cool.
I hope they do the San Siro, Wembley, Allianz, Parc de Prince, and Anfield
I think it's shame that in such expensive and 18+ set are so many repetitive stickers, those should be printed just SHOULD.
Just a point. Santiago is the set of San and Tiago, Saint Tiago. It's not by chance. Awesome video.
Honestly I love these stadium builds
SanTIAGO 😂😂 - nice one!! Do you think the different shades of green for the playing-field-prints are on purpose ? Looks like the middle is brighter...🤔
Yay! Another lego review!
This is the beat stadium
Stadium is the best lego line
I agree with you Tiago. This one looks the nicest out of the three. If I had more room and money, I’d buy it. But I don’t and I am a ManU fan so having the Old Trafford set is enough. Unless someone comes up with an insane alternate build on rebrickable to convert it into a modular.
Let’s hope we get Allianz arena or Johan Cruijff arena next.
Being a Real Madrid fan I got the set for my birthday and it’s truly incredible
Better than the camp nou which is home to our rival
Happy birthday im 2 months late but

Being from Detroit in the US this makes me hold out hope for a series of older iconic sports stadiums... I would LOVE a Lego version of old tiger stadium and Joe Louis arena
thinking about buying two of these one to build and one to store for years
would this go up in price for collectors?
Another great video. I agree Tiago, this stadium build is the nicest looking of the stadium set. I personally wont be picking up any but if as a Liverpool fan if they ever bring out an Anfied one I'll be all over it ;)
Hey Tiago in 3:43 the piece has been used before, for example the Lego museum set 60008, on the roof corner.
I bought and built old trafford a few weeks ago and i loved it, i kinda wanna buy this but idk where I’ll put it
I am still waiting for stadion the Kuip in Rotterdam (netherlands)!
Is it just me or is there a rather big difference in print color/quality between the middle and the outer parts of the pitch? And also the print with the logo seems rather fuzzy. Apart from that, overall it does seem like an okay set with some nice details. The huge number of stickers will always be disappointing though for such an expensive set, especially if the same one is used over and over again. For €350 they shouldn't cut corners, premium price should mean premium quality.
And as I don't care much for the stadiums released so far, I really hope the next one will finally be the Frans Heesen Stadion a.k.a. Het Osse Kuipje!
Another stadium. At least this one has Tiago’s name in it. I wonder if they will make a set out of the estadio do maracanã or from the estadio Cuscatlan? Looks like an interesting set, but I do not have space for these stadium sets, they are quite big
As an Ajax fan, I would love for a Johan Cruyff arena, but I very much doubt it will happen.
Lol your name will always live on within the LEGO group! That being said… it looks like an interesting build to enjoy.
Hey Tiago, do you have the other two stadiums to compare it too? Also next to the Colosseum? Thanks!
not into legos, but ordered this as soon as it came out to support my club. cant wait to build it
Been waiting for this
Great video
I AM building it now but the stadiums are not very steady.
I do find it interesting that Lego releases the stadium in the year where it doesn't look like this anymore.
Love the thumbnail, and great review!
Definitely a really cool serious, I hope that gets really big, and we also get, Allianz Arena, Anfield, Signal iduna Park, and few others of the huge stadiums
I want you to design “Wall Clock”
I wanna make a big lego like this,
but I do not have any rooms to store.
Wall clock is so beautiful one and can solve this problem
PLEASE Tiago, push Lego to make a New York Yankee Stadium!
I need it! :)
hey, new lego fan here ;) I did a lot of "regular" puzzles during the pandemic, but recently decided to upgrade to 3D puzzles. I made my debut with the Lego Ideas Typewriter. And now I want more xD what do you guys suggest? I'm not looking forward to spend more than €200, but also I don't want something that's way beneath the typewriter building experience! (And I don't mind it having some lego technic parts)
You went straight for the best one in regards to building experience so it's really hard to top I'm afraid :)
But here's a few:
Saturn V
Porsche 911 (creator expert)
The Guardians Ship
Super Mario 64 Question Mark Block
Nasa Space Shuttle Discovery
@@TiagoCatarino yeah, seems like it ;) obrigada pelas sugestões :)
San Siro for the next stadium!
Fantastic review as always
I have a question it is about this model " LEGO® Technic 42125 Ferrari 488 GTE ". What would you say were the thoughts of the designer of that model while he/she was designing it?
Ill be interested when they make an Empower Field at Mile High set or a Mile High Stadium set 🐎
Do the Saturn V it's one of the MOST ENJOYABLE sets to build
You think this set will set out quickly? Won’t be able to get it until a week after release. But also don’t want to wait until it comes back in stock. Thoughts?
Just hoping for a Stamford bridge now
San"Tiago" :P
I wish LEGO would release basketball or football U.S. stadiums like Rupp Arena or Lambeau Field.
These are awesome, but I really wish that they would do some iconic baseball stadiums, like Fenway or Wrigley
That would be amazing if they did that
ye but that will only target an american demographic. Football (soccer) is worldwide and much better for lego. IMO football stadiums are also more aesthetically pleasing. BUT IDK, i dont watch baseball
no one gaf abt baseball bro 😭😭
Up next: Lego So-fi (spelling) stadium?
I NEED to try and get that Emirates sticker, it would be so cool for my airport. Thanks for the review!
That set is huge, I really like the architecture tho
Would love to see a review on the Saturn V rocket set.
this looks very beautiful. I hope they start doing some American stadiums. I would love a build of my home town Soldier Field and Wrigley Field
We need scotiabank arena or something like that.
I like this stadium and also Old Trafford. The Camp Nou stadium seems out of proportion and has many holes in it.
I wonder if they'll start doing these for north american stadiums at some point. I'd like to see how a madison square garden set would work because that one is actually an arena with a roof and it is in a more round shape. Great review nonetheless!
Which game does the 3-0 score refer to? I'm sure it has to be one of their matches against FC Barca
I would totally buy Fenway Park
They could charge $1000 for it and I’d still buy it
I'm really a very bad sports person but a few months ago I went to Madrid for a little business thing and I visited the bernebeau stadium and I think getting that set will be a really good memoir of my trip to madrid.
*After I sell my lungs of course*
When was it realesed
I'm dreaming of a significantly larger American football stadium. I just want that 1 architectural set that takes me weeks to build. Won't happen, but been praying for years.
I would love an etihad one
Baseball stadiums are some of the least symmetrical and repetitive stadiums, and would make for much more enjoyable building experiences.
But the sport is boring
Well I think soccer is boring. Just because you don’t like something doesn’t mean everyone else feels the same. The reason why I don’t complain about Harry Potter sets is because I can go buy Star Wars sets. There’s no reason why Lego can’t make things for more than one group of people.
@@kyleghilani6386 i think what he means is: that will only target an american demographic. Football (soccer) is worldwide and much better for lego. IMO football stadiums are also more aesthetically pleasing. BUT IDK, i dont watch baseball
@@doubleabrix5513 I get it, it’s just disappointing
@@kyleghilani6386 yea ig for yall americans. maybe it could come in through the ideas line or something.
Hope they do an Emerites stadium
As a barça fan i’m really jealous that this one looks so much better. The Camp Nou looks horrible with those ugly gaps in the stands
I would love to see a Madison Square Garden Lego set soon.
Being a longtime Lego fan (and I'm talking early 90's) I do often wonder if there is a way to purchase old sets or parts that aren't on the main production page? Like special order or something like that. The two things that come to mind are the black hull floatable ship, and the spring-loaded lifted axles from some of the older offroad builds. The ship hull is the 38x10 I think, and the axels are the spring wheel holders. I can find them online from all over the world for sell by their respective owners, but I would much prefer to buy them directly from the manufacture. Just wondering how possible that would be seeing as these parts are easily 20+ years old.
Also is there a way through the Lego site to submit a build for a potential future production set build?
Yes, there is an entire market place for that. You can buy almost any parts you could think of. Just go to Bricklink website and click the green Market button. You can search by category or just type in the product ID. Lego only sales limited parts so your best bet is Bricklink.
@@Zergcerebrates Thank you for the info.
It would be awesome for some American football stadiums too! So Fi stadium would be a beautiful model.
Love it 👍
Repetitions Inception tiiiiiiiiiiiimeeee!!! ahah
Hey bro please compare all three lego stadium side by side...
Also try this with all three UCS Giant's 🔥🔥🔥
Hi, I was curious if you would know if Lego would except any Fortnite sets for the Ideas line?
Cant wait for city one to come out
Tiago can Lego make a somkey and the bandit set?🤔
Not a Chelsea fan, but Stamford Bridge would be cool
Aww gosh is that card bord with grass print or sticker on three plastic Lego plate s or ..
Fenway park wrigley field yankee stadium PLZZZZZ!!!
As a Barcelona fan I’m not buying this but I didn’t buy camp nou either. As a Manchester United fan I did buy Old Trafford
Can you make a tutorial on how to make Optimus prime from robots in disguise (2015)
I really wish they would do stadiums for other sports. I would love to support this line of sets, but I’m just not a big soccer fan.
Why did you upload when I was at school
I really really really really want the Johan Cruijff ArenA!!!
Damn! You are so good at Lego that the Real Madrid team decided to name a stadium after you! :)
Maybe they will expand to other sports stadiums like nfl that would be cool to see in the future.
DARK GREEN ICECREAM? :O
Lego should do other sports stadiums
Hello ooh I like I got a good thort on what to do to add sume thing with this set ..
I wish we could get like football stadiums not soccer ones or maybe baseball stadiums and parks
I dont get the thought behind stadiums. They seem so niche... how many people buy such an expensive and specific set?
I think if Lego branched out to other sports stadiums as well instead of just doing soccer it would be more successful
Apparently enough people after 3 models now.
@@kyleghilani6386 LEGO is a European company. Football is in the blood for many and it sells, no matter how much we believe our other sports are in popularity.
@@nofreebeer true, but sad for us Americans
