@@TiagoCatarino those textured 1x2 bricks as the stands are pretty clever! I guess some of it comes down to my not owning/never having built the colosseum, so I'm not burnt out on the whole small-segments-oval-structure thing yet.
Fun fact: The name "Soccer" was created in England and was the name of the sport now called football for a very long time. At some point in the 1980s when the sport of soccer started to gain more popularity in America, the British decided to turn against the name of the sport just to be dicks about it and create the whole "LOLZ YOU STUPID AMMIES DON'T EVEN CALL IT THE RIGHT NAME, IT'S FOOTBALL YOU IDIOTS," thing. Which continues to be prevalent to this day. So the correct name for the sport, according to the country that created it, is Soccer.
Great Review as always Thiago! I honesty don't think the scoreboard thing is distasteful. I think that the Trafalagar success took them by surprise and that now they're trying to create a brand off it like you said. The issue is the size and price of these make them more like singular setpieces rather than something you could collect in bulk like say, the Architecture skylines. I'm not a fan of futbol or any sports really, so I can't say these will have my interest outside of aesthetics. but if it came down to it and they really wanted to make a new series off just these stadiums, they'd really need to shrink the scope of scale and more pressingly, price. The Celebration GwP is definitely an interesting direction to take though, and I could see maybe a little more merit off something like that. wouldn't be the first time Lego had licenses with sports teams after all. @@kyleghilani6386 No! No Fenway Park. The Red Sox's are so mean to us Yankees fans. We are the angels of the league, the nicest team and fans, but those mean Redsox fans just keep making fun of us Tiago. All we want to do is be their friend. With Fenway I don't think it'll sell that well. Yankee fans are all over the world. You got the US market plus Japan they're huge over there.
@@ShortRound42 First of all, who says I don’t want to be your friend? The fans who are mean are the ones who are old enough to remember the 86 year drought and are salty about it. The new generation of Red Sox fans (like myself) have been blessed with 4 World Series wins and are not jerks. Plus, the Red Sox and Yankees have similar size fanbases. If you go to a baseball game where neither the Red Sox or Yankee are playing, you will still see some people wearing merchandise from both teams. Not to mention they have the same amount of exposure in England and Europe because of the London game they played a few years back. It’s not like Lego can only make one or the other. My last argument is that Fenway is the oldest currently operating MLB park, giving it some extra appeal.
I hope they make Wembley and Twickenham stadiums at some point. Wembley is a very important Stadium for English football and although I don't personally follow Rugby, I've lived in Twickenham my whole life so am very familiar with it's most famous Stadium.

Fenway too! The Red Sox may not be as successful but they are just as popular as the Yankees
Like the gwp so much unfortunately wont be getting it...
Looks really interesting indeed! Watch out for the review soon!
Totally agree on the 5-0, it shouldn’t be in the set. It’s okay coming from a fan, but it shouldn’t be in an official set
3-0 will be better to represent the UCL match against liverpool. To complete the cycle, LEGO will release Anfield with a score of 4-0 next year.
Right?
I gotta get this
A new upload, epic! Keep it up!
Glad you enjoy it!
I hope they make Wembley and Twickenham stadiums at some point. Wembley is a very important Stadium for English football and although I don't personally follow Rugby, I've lived in Twickenham my whole life so am very familiar with it's most famous Stadium.
I think I'm good with LEGO Stadiums :P But I can totally see the appeal for some people!
It is so set is so cool. Btw nice video
Thanks!
Where can i buy it?

Of course they make a lot of money, Futbol is the number one watched sport in the world
Great review! I love it when you put your honest opinions in them.
