Hi! I'm An Scott. I'm a happily retired woman in my late 60's, with my golden years on
the horizon, living the good life in sunny SW Florida, with my fun husband Jeff and my little
    Yorkie, Bella.
I created this channel for like-minded middle-agers and seniors on the cusp of their “Golden Years” who are active and aspire to enjoy their lives, sometimes the finer things in life… sometimes, the more “everyday” things in life.
Sometimes, I’ll even share things that those of us “older folks” are facing as we embrace our “golden years”. The good, the bad and the ugly. For now, we'll be sharing our everyday journey through life, with you, our like-minded (we hope) audience, as "mature adults" enjoying life, here in FL and our travels in the USA, as well as outside the US, when opportunity allows.
My husband and I are fortunate to live, full-time, in SW Florida, in an area that is predominantly a very popular tourist area. So, we often feel like we’re on a permanent vacation.
Yes, Jeff, who is an award winning Architect, does still enjoy his career and works very hard, to provide us the wherewithal for this comfortable, yet not luxurious lifestyle. In early summer of 2024, when Jeff retires from his long successful career, we will be moving from the USA to the beautiful south of France, starting a new life, living out our “golden years”, in France.
We’re starting to go through our first steps in preparing for our big move to Nice. In the near future I’ll be presenting videos of those steps, in hopes of helping those of you who are also going to be venturing down that path.
We hope you’ll subscribe to my channel, join our community and share your thoughts and comments. If there are any topics you’d like to see us share or “visit” with you, please be sure to let us know!

Thank you for the video! I'm glad you guys enjoyed the night. I'm very much against foe gras because the production process includes force-feeding, which is cruel and abusive. So I'm wondering if there's an alternative option on the menu?

Thank you for sharing your video. What was your experience with dress code specifically for Men. Trying to convince my brother to go but website says elegant but no tie? If you could clarify that for me

I wore a dressier dress, (little black dress) as did many women. Most men wore nice slacks, and a button-down dress shirt, with open collar and jacket. We did see a few, very few people less dressy, more the equivalent of business attire. I don't remember seeing any men without a jacket. No jeans. 😊

How long was the show from start to finish

I'd say it was maybe a 2 hour show. But we were there for much longer. There was about a 1/2 hour wait in line before we were seated and then they seated us for dinner, maybe 45 minutes before the show started. If you're doing the dinner and show, plan on being there for a full evening.
