I’m having a problem with soloing this monster, even if i break parts by wallbanging her and focus her chest to deal as much damage as i can she always goes away, would you have some advice for that, that don’t involve having a speedrun build. Like if you have a special order in which you do things that would help me ( like do you start by breaking her arms then her chest or the other way around, or do you break everything with one wall bang in the beginning, by tenderizing the two legs and the chest before wallbanging)

Good question, there are a few reasons: Too inconsistent it takes a lot of time to sleep her and wait for the animation When you sleep her she loses the enrage, and you deal a lot less damage on the down. If you look at my run, I made sure to enrage her before the boulder for more damage!

ELM the build is very limited in space, since you dont use wex. Having to fit in ce7 is tough. If you want skills for online, your only option is to replace the 2 evade extender that are optional, for somerhing else. ( like hb if you want). Honestly i use that same build online cause hb or not she still one shot ranged, and i like evade extender on this fight!

I don't recommend it usually. On KT it makes the fight a lot more comfortable because you have to cover long distances. I took the idea from Fay, that was a good idea!
Hey there can I ask why you didn't equip WEX and went with crit eye instead? Another question is how do you dodge mr kulve in phase 1 when he does the belly roll. It takes up like half the room and if I somehow manage to not get hit, its tail pulls me out of position and I have to run back to his forearms
The arm isn’t a weak spot so weakness exploit doesn’t work. All her rolling attacks in phase 1 you can dodge by standing or walking under her chest, there is a safe gap there
why the choice of focusing only on the foreleg? tenderezing chest could give so much more damage output. i get the KO time is very long, and easyer to hit the leg when she do lava pool, but that is compensated by the huge HZV of the chest.
You don't get "much" more damage on chest, it's only like 1-2 damage at best IF you use a raw bow. And since chest is mostly raw damage, as soon as you run out of power coatings, your damage completely plummets. On top of having higher overall damage, legs gets you trips.
@@LyonOlivier69 i did some tests on this, first i tried focusing first on only the leg, to get KO's and keepin hiting the leg, and the average max damage i got was i think 75-80. then i tried a mixed of focus to the leg for trips, and when she is down focus on the chest that gives an average max damage of 85-90 with kjarr ice bow, and noticed that with this tecnique is very easy to shave off atleast one minute off of the run. personally i think this run could be much faster if focused on only the chest, but the lava pools are a run breaker... hopefully this can be implemented in some speedruns, since im not one..
At 1:55 That's Rapid 2, but then you go into Rapid 3, then Rapid 4 then Power? When I do this it just goes back to Rapid 1. Is it because you fire when you stop and not during the Dash?
No, you can do it without endgame bow. She leaves at around 7ish minutes per area, you just have to take a third of her hp per area. This is an old meta also in this video, it’s much faster now
I agree with you completely. I hated the fight at beginning. I started liking it more when I got used to it, but it's still not a good bow fight, hzv are just too bad...

Part breaks have no effect on master rank KT. Only damage matters. I tenderize chest before wallbang so i can start doing damage right away:)

If you go ice bow, forearm is best. I would suggest to go for forearm like i do in the run :) also hb3>fire res

Moon Flower Palace if it’s following a dash dance you can only do 1 rapid. If you start from neutral (at 0 charge) it’ll go like this dash>r2>r3>r4>p4
