      Thank you!
      I usually get the stress wrong in Russian cause I've mostly forgotten the few classes I took.
      I can barely remember most basic noun lol.

    Is Vampiric descended from one of the more commonly attested Slavic languages spoken by muggles, or is it an entirely separate descencent from proto-Slavic? Boy that's some intense palatalization if t fully becomes sh.

      I tried to make it mostly it's own thing.
      I also kind of cheated because I used Old Church Slavonic as the starting point for a lot of words.
      That's mostly do to me not finding many resources for proto-Slavic.
      Also, I may not have made it clear enough in the video but the palatalization works like this:
      T -> Ŧ
      D -> Đ
      K -> Ꞩ
      G -> Ƶ
      I should also probably add that Ŧ and Đ were originally affricates before they merged into /s/ and /z/.
      I plan on making a video about the verbs soon.
      It's just that I've been trying to redo the tense-system aswell.

    It's interesting and I have trouble keeping focus. Would you be interested in doing background videos?
    - When did you start conlanging?
    - What interested you about it?
    - What is the endgame? I know that conlang is used in serious and fictional settings like:
    𝙀𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙤: Created by L. L. Zamenhof in the late 19th century to be an easy-to-learn international auxiliary language.
    𝙆𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙤𝙣: Created by linguist Marc Okrand for the "Star Trek" franchise.
    𝘿𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙖𝙠𝙞 and 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙑𝙖𝙡𝙮𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣: Created by linguist David J. Peterson for the "Game of Thrones" TV series.
    -Are you working on a conlang for a piece of fiction?
    -Maybe you're interested in the theory.
    -Have you joined any conlang groups and worked collaboratively?
    -Who is your intended audience?
    I would enjoy learning these backstory intros. You have a great speaking voice (I envy that) and your mental efforts are admirable. Thanks. P.S. Ask Papa if I can teach you about chatbots. Thanks. BDG

      Thank you! I've been conlanging since around ~2019. Before that a tried learning some Esperanto and it just sorta spiraled into researching other constructed languages so a decided to get into the hobby.
      As for the endgame, I've had the idea for a Vampire language since around 2022 but most of my previous attempts weren't very good. I'm planning it to be part of a larger world building project which includes a language isolate spoken around Japan and the Korean Peninsula.
      My intended audience is mainly me and whoever else is interested in this sort of thing.
      I already know all about chatbots and other AI stuff. So I'm not sure there's much to teach.
      I will say that I personally prefer not to use any AI stuff. It's not that I think it's bad or anything. I just prefer not to.
      I should make a video about the background of the language.
      Although a lot of the world-building is still kind of in the early stages.
      So I'll probably do it a good bit later on.

      @@bowlerhathorse701 Thank you for your response.
      I predict you'll be good at it and will enjoy the project because you're willing to pay your dues. Again, I encourage you to do some prequels and progress videos.
      I enjoy those because I can find some common ground with any author, no matter the subject.
      I'm looking forward to any direction you take.
      P.S. You present well. Your writing and speech skills are enviable.
