- Putting the Titan Stump Bucket to good use again. This time though it's not for planting trees, nor it's actual intended use of digging up tree stumps. Instead in this video I use it to help solve some drainage problems I have by digging a ditch and filling it with rocks. Come along and see how this works out.

I just ordered a stump bucket today, got a lotta small trees and brush to clear out for firewood stacking in my woodyard. Looks like you made it work for you, just takes time and patience.

Just ordered a stump bucket as well today along with a new TYM 2515….lol.
Salesman told me it’s a Branson tractor all the way except for the TYM badging.
It has the steel fenders and hood!
The three point hitch components look incredibly beefy.
I love the pinned adjustments in place of the cheesy sway bars.
I ordered the gear drive or shuttle shift model .
I’m sure I would like the HYdro drive unit much better to operate but I like the idea of longevity of the fear drive as well as lower cost of the trans fails.
I’m stoked!

I may try to get ahold of some Branson decals to replace the TYM ones…..I just like the Branson ones better.
I know I’m weird like that.
I may just get some custom decals made and get creative with logos and the tractor name.
Got a killer deal , cheaper than a BX 25 and comes with six implements, third function and slip clutch add on.
How exciting! Congratulations! Yes, TYM bought Branson and have now put their branding on it; no more Branson website, etc.. But as far I know, they haven't really changed much. They bought Branson because it was such a well engineered product and I've heard TYM wanted to use some of Brandon's design and manufacturing for other TYM lines. That might be BS from the Branson people, but that was what I heard.

Thanks. That video was a year and a half ago and it's still working great. People recommended I put a culvert pipe in, which was a good idea, but so many leaves that flow with the rains would have just plugged it up all the time. It does exactly what I needed it to.

I have the exact stump bucket, or "poor man's backhoe", and used it to great effect to dig out trenches for a buried garden fence. Titan made a solid attachment in that stump bucket - I've used it to pop a number of rocks out of the ground and it's holding up just fine.
Thanks so much for sharing. That's awesome. I haven't been using it as much as I expected yet, but definitely have plans to at my off-grid property, where I'll be taking done more trees, cutting more ditches, and digging up more stones, only without the help of the rental excavator.

The stump bucket is the poor man’s backhoe which in turn is the poor man’s excavator.
Stump buckets to suit tractors are not sold in Australia. I’m thinking of learning how to weld and making one or getting someone who knows how to weld to make one for me.
I'm sure you've already found that there are several RUclips videos on building your own stump bucket. Gotta love RUclips.. 😀

Wow love your Branson by the way I looked at one but the dealer was to far away if I had any issues. I didn’t know that tractors are really reliable at the time. Awesome! Thanks so much for your positive comments and for subscribing. Yes, the Branson has been great so far and is designed for the DIYer to do most of the upkeep themselves. But I think you made a good call about being too far from a dealer if you so need one. I would have done the same.

Do you have any photos on how effective your trench was after a rain? Just bought a stump bucket for my BX2380 (much smaller yractor than yoursd) and I have a serious drainage problem behind my house. Great video, thanks!
I'll try to take some pics next big rain storm, but it's working great. Only thing I wish I did differently was put 6" flex pipe across area where I drive to get to my sawmill. But all the standing water and mud is gone now, so accomplished my main goal.
