First, you have to install it on dolphin, then you have to go to steam and click "add a non steam game to steam" and click on your dophine file. You then install the steam link app on your samsung and link it to your steam account. Configure your gamepad to your steamm your samsung smart fridge and dolphine. Open dophine in steam using the steam link app then open Project p+ using dolphin. I have no idea if the steam link app works with non steam games but I think it just runs steam big picture on your device. Edit: There is an app called rainway that will also work.

Fact checking, replacing footage, rewording things, restructuring areas... just a ton of work, ON TOP of this being a 20 minute informational video lol. Additionally, we had some setbacks that we had to work around. Che's mic stopped working mid way through the project, and we had to make due with his phone (which is why his voice sounds off in places lol) And glitches! Sooo many glitches while editing this thing haha. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this resources. This will probably be one of the last things I do specifically for the PM/+ community for... probably the rest of my time with this game. How do i download hackless on my phone? I was gonna download, then put it on my 32gb micro sd card, but put it on my computer and put the files on my 2gb sd card after extracting with winzip
Just a pro tip. Most 8 gb USB sticks don't actually hold a full 8 gigs of data on it, and is usually less, so it's a much safer option to just go for a 16 gb USB stick

I know of an easier way to play project + with USB Loader So after you extract all your files onto your SD card navigate to the folder that says "Project+" There should be a file that reads "RSBE01.GCT" and a text document that reads the same thing. You want to take those files and put them in the "codes" folder on the root of your SD card (create one if you do not have one) Now back to the Project+ folder there should be a text document that reads "gc.txt" move that file to the root of the SD card and rename it "gameconfig" now you have to launch Brawl from USB Loader GX. There are 2 ways to do it. If you have a copy of Brawl you can insert it inside your wii and there should be an option in USB Loader GX to rip the disc into the wbfs format which is how you launch it. The 2nd method is if you already have an iso of Brawl on your computer. You can use the Wii Backup Manager which basically does the same thing USB loader does and converts the iso into 2 wbfs files that should work for your wii. With your files on your SD card and your flash drive you should be able to play P+ from there. Have fun!!
Thank you! I think they assume you'ld start with a vanilla Wii but in my case it already runs with SNEEK, so I wondered if I can keep my SNEEK boot.elf. From your comment I assume I can and only need gameconfig, the Project+-Folder and codes folder with the gct- and textfile in it. I might try that soon.

very late answer, but the usb loader is already bundled with the project+ launcher, if the console doesn't detect the disc it will launch the usb loader automatically and if you have the brawl iso/wbfs it should run perfectly

I’m using a Mac computer for this and when ever I go to format the SD card, it doesn’t seem to give you the option to set the kilobytes to 32. Is there something that is missing or am I just crazy?

For the dolphin setup, if you already had a dolphin client, can you just move the files not in the normal dolphin client from the proprietary dolphin client to the normal dolphin client and run it from there or can you only use the proprietary client?

You just have to load the sd card (sd.raw) located in the project plus folder (given you have the project plus folder on your pc as well. I even got it to work in Batocera.

if youre having trouble finding the project+ file to come in in dolphin you may also need to enable putting it in subfolders if its not already checked in the settings

I know, 4 years old, but after following your written guide, trice, I keep resulting in a Black Screen of Death with an "Exception" Error Message. I live in Europe and have a PAL Wii, so USB Loader and a NTSC Brawl ISO is my only option.

I'm having an issue were after selecting a stage, the game goes black for a small second and then gives me an error in white text saying...something about address errors? @@THAT_TOXIC_SOUP I have the Project + Usb Loader from v2.2 and it works perfectly with v2.26, The Usb Loader app fused with the normal so it means you can still play without the disk but I had several issues with it
@@THAT_TOXIC_SOUP You must use an SD card especially and SDHC card to make it work better, it doesnt work with USB. And Brawl must be a WBFS file to work on wii

No the USB loader is packed into the console download. Everything you need for the console you chose to play on is included in it's respective download
I did everything the video said and i did all the troubleshooting but whenever i go to stage builder for hackless it loads then just gives me the regular menu. I have the files in the root of my sd card too
I have a wii with homebrew, but when i open project plus launcher and try to search for an update it says that the file info.xml was not found, then it just crashes in an exeption (same thing when i search for addons), but if i plug the SD card in pc i can actually see that file. Dolphin won't recognize the Brawl file. Is it because it's .rvz? The name of the game also says "Rev 2", there was a Rev 1 as well when I downloaded it
Not said in the video, but the ISO needs to be for the NTSC-U (american) version of the game!! I had n clue why it wasn't working for me until I discovered I had a european version of the game (UK) and needed to go online to get the US one. I am unsure on the legality of acquiring a different region variant of a game you own, though.

Use the Project + USB loader instead.
Just a heads up, this guide is outdated if your using developmental builds of Dolphin, which you should be given stable is 5 years old now. to check your MD5 checksum you need to go to properties- verify and hit verify integrity rather than properties-info
I’m using a Mac computer for this and when ever I go to format the SD card, it doesn’t seem to give you the option to set the kilobytes to 32. Is there something that is missing or am I just crazy?

I did actually, the computer does that automatically. Also, this comment is extremely outdated now that I have a Windows laptop and actually understand how macs work lol
i was able to get P+ running on the original build of dolphin instead of the custom P+ dolphin
For the dolphin setup, if you already had a dolphin client, can you just move the files not in the normal dolphin client from the proprietary dolphin client to the normal dolphin client and run it from there or can you only use the proprietary client?

@@cosmicvoidtree Ok. No problem. If it helps I have found the way to do it. Besides making the ssbb iso the default iso in your dolphin. You just have to load the sd card (sd.raw) located in the project plus folder (given you have the project plus folder on your pc as well. I even got it to work in Batocera.

I installed homebrewchannel and have the offline/wii file on my sd hc card. Its Formated to fat32 and 32bytes but When I launch homebrew channel and Start Project plus it goes blank for a min and then I get back to the homescreen

USB Loading doesn't work for me. Everytime I try to launch project+, I get a black screen, and my wii u freezes which forces me to unplug the wii u everytime...

bro... I did the method that lets you play a legally obtained wbfs of brawl for the Universe mod and now it does this thing here when i load either from disc or usb it loads the logo right before the intro cutscene then freezes and i cant play i even redownloaded it no luck please i need help i cant even play the disc method anymore
if youre having trouble finding the project+ file to come in in dolphin you may also need to enable putting it in subfolders if its not already checked in the settings

I know, 4 years old, but after following your written guide, trice, I keep resulting in a Black Screen of Death with an "Exception" Error Message.
I live in Europe and have a PAL Wii, so USB Loader and a NTSC Brawl ISO is my only option.
I'm having similar issues with a japanese Wii despite base brawl working and everything else working fine the game just won't run with their loader

SDXC CARDS (32GB-2TB) ARE NOW SUPPORTED FOR PROJECT+! As long as it's formated to FAT32.
Dolphin build has HD TEXTURES you can enable in graphics -> advanced -> load custom textures
Maybe there should be a more modern version of this video. Because it's really not the same thing when I'm trying to launch it on my computer.
Nothing about this process should have changed beyond the fact that the dolphin version has an update button now that will update if there's a new patch. The process is the exact same
Nice! Planning to USB load since I have brawl but the disc drive doesnt work fast enough to load brawl in time for project +, so regular method's off the table. I should ask though, I already have cIOS installs done, specifically on d2x-v10-beta52. Will this still work fine for usb loading project+?

The dolphin launcher is just lauching vanilla brawl, i feel like im missing a really important step
there is a file called sd.raw in the P+ folder click on user then wii and you'll see the sd.raw set that as the sd card thing in dolphin

I'm having an issue were after selecting a stage, the game goes black for a small second and then gives me an error in white text saying...something about address errors? Also even before that when selecting my character, the game crashed. I did the usb method. I am using cios d2x-v10 beta52. If any one has a similar error and fixed it, let me know, asap. Thanks!

Is the USB method a sneaky way of saying "fuck you" to non-disc users? Because the Project + USB Loader app is NOWHERE to be found. Not even in the site itself.
Prior versions of Project + such as 2.2v and 2.0v included the Project + USB Loader but I still don't if it is compatible with 2.25v or 2.26v
@@THAT_TOXIC_SOUP I have the Project + Usb Loader from v2.2 and it works perfectly with v2.26, The Usb Loader app fused with the normal so it means you can still play without the disk but I had several issues with it
@@THAT_TOXIC_SOUP You must use an SD card especially and SDHC card to make it work better, it doesnt work with USB. And Brawl must be a WBFS file to work on wii
@@THAT_TOXIC_SOUP I'm not 100% sure but it's because a USB can't run properly the files, for example trying to install The Homebrew Channel from USB won't work because it can't run its files
No the USB loader is packed into the console download. Everything you need for the console you chose to play on is included in it's respective download
I did everything the video said and i did all the troubleshooting but whenever i go to stage builder for hackless it loads then just gives me the regular menu. I have the files in the root of my sd card too
They have removed the USB loader homebrew app from the apps folder. I cannot find another to replace it online.
I have a wii with homebrew, but when i open project plus launcher and try to search for an update it says that the file info.xml was not found, then it just crashes in an exeption (same thing when i search for addons), but if i plug the SD card in pc i can actually see that file. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

With the usb method, is there a way to get the GameCube controller adapter working on the Wii U? I’m a pal user and use the usb method to play project plus and wanted to know if it’s possible to run project plus on a usb using the GameCube controller adapter
The usb method you listed doesn't work for me. It says my usb device isn't valid. Is there another way of loading through USB without using Project+ USB Loader?
Dolphin won't recognize the Brawl file. Is it because it's .rvz?

Not said in the video, but the ISO needs to be for the NTSC-U (american) version of the game!! I had n clue why it wasn't working for me until I discovered I had a european version of the game (UK) and needed to go online to get the US one. I am unsure on the legality of acquiring a different region variant of a game you own, though.
