When it is more limited it urges people to buy it therefore more sales 😁👍 btw I love how you guys bond and me who turns 14 on the 4th of January my dad thinks I’m a nerd but it’s nice to see you guys bond
Actually this one is the most accurate to the clone wars. The one you used as a reference is the one from Star Wars rebels, which the first one was based on, the one from the clone wars show is nearly perfect to this one. But still great review!
I’m honestly super impressed that you not only put out quality videos and review things in depth, but that you work with your son so well. You both do great in the videos and your patience is through the roof. Keep up the awesome work!
Dude Skylor, THANK YOU very much for that man. That really made my night. Thank you so much for those kind words. It can be challenging making videos with my little guy but I definitely feel lonely flying solo. Your comments are always welcome! Thanks for watching.
BOTH Designs are accurate! I really don't know how everyone gets them messed up but there are two different types of double-bladed Temple Guard lightsabers. This golden one resembles the weapon featured in The Clone Wars and Rebels (in background in the Jedi Temple were Kanan grabs the red lightsaber) and the older white one resembles the weapons used by the Guards exclusivley in Rebels (also Luke uses a single-bladed version in the comics). The golden TCW weapon is an actual lightsaber pike, extra long stiff hilt with two Shoto blades. The white Rebels weapon is not a lightsaber pike rather a foldable double bladed lightsaber like "Darth Rey's" with normal sized blades. One's a pike with short blades, one's a double lightsaber. Completely different fighting styles are required here wich makes them two completely different weapons although featuring the same components for the most part. If you want to build an accurate lightsaber pike from The Clone Wars you indeed need these newer golden lightsabers in conjuction with the solid connector and two small blades. And if you want to buil an accurate double-bladed lightsaber from Rebels, you need two of the older white lightsabers in conjuction with the foldable connector from the new set (although it's gold while it should be white) as well as two longer blades. But I'm very happy you noticed afterwards. You are the only RUclipsr I know that notices the difference😂👍🏻
Interestingly enough, the Box Set Temple Guard lightsaber was actually made to be more accurate with the Clone Wars tv show! The original Galaxy’s Edge saber was based off of its design in Rebels, but then fans kept comparing it to the Clone Wars design, so now Disney has made both designs, so fans could (hypothetically) choose whichever design they prefer.
I say hypothetically, because Galaxy’s Edge is no longer selling the Temple Guard Legacy Lightsaber, and the Temple Guard Box Set is sold out on ShopDisney, so now NO ONE buy EITHER Temple Guard sabers from a first party seller. 😂😡
Also, let me just say that I think the entire idea of removing legacy lightsabers from Dok Ondar’s, is a terrible decision. The original Temple Guard Lightsaber, Asajj Ventress Lightsaber, Ahsoka Tano’s Rebels White Lightsabers, Mace Windu’s Lightsaber, And apparently now Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Episode 1 Lightsaber, All of those sabers should make a return! Along with the Darth Maul Shadow Collective saber half, being made as a permanent addition to the line up of sabers, like how the Reforged Skywalker and Ben Solo sabers were made permanent too. Also, the new TCW Temple Guard Lightsabers should be available for purchase at both Galaxy’s Edges too. It makes sense that something like the Leia and Reforged Skywalker saber box set was a limited edition run, but the complete temple guard box set should’ve launched along side the TCW Temple Guard Saber, and both connector/adapter pieces, being available in Dok Ondar’s.
Lol sorry guys the images you referenced is from Rebels, this is the clone wars version and the original hilt is the Rebels version. But I am sad to see the wobble and weakness in the foldable coupler is a common issue, I wish they made that sturdier regardless of using it to duel, spin, etc
The reference image and video you used is from Star Wars Rebels. Yes, the original legacy saber is more accurate to Rebels but this new one is based off the lightsaber pikes from Clone Wars.
I never liked the older temple guard lightsaber, this is more accurate to both TCW and Rebels. The episode you were alluding to is from rebels season two not TCW Not only that hopefully we may see Pon Krell from TCW as his hilt has the same split design on both his dual wielding lightsabers. I really like the crate packaging also, looks really cool. Great to see Landon back in vids.
@@FindingTheForce Same sh*t different day mate, tell you that now. No worries about getting both shows confused, that’s why I’m here 😜😂🤣😜 Happy holidays to you and the family anyway, always a pleasure.

Yeah sorry. The reference to the shows is what messed me up 😅😅 easy to tell which image was from Clone Wars and which is from Rebels. Even when y'all used the video of Kanan, from Rebels lol the content of the review on the sabers y'all do is always great. But just make sure to get the material of reference correct lol Love this saber!
Omg I'm so jealous, I really wish I could get the temple guard set. I didn't even find out Disney came out with it until weeks later. But I'm happy for you guys, hopefully one day they'll sell more of them in some way.
Hey Nick, thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts Man. My suggestion if you want to keep up with the new Saber releases is to join a couple of the Galaxy's Edge Facebook groups. They always blow up when new merch drops. ; ) Thanks for watching!
Hello There-lol …..I know it’s been awhile but I’m back. This review is amazing looking forward to purchasing the Mail one still not sure about the Temple guard one yet….though it looks cool. I want to wish you a family a wonderful and safe holiday.
HEY ALISA!!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! Thanks so much for stopping by, you know we always appreciate hearing from you. I can't believe they really made a limited addition Saber. It could be just for the crate box set, but Disney is crazy, you never know what they're going to do.
So between this new set or the older GE exclusive one, I’m more partial to the Clone Wars paint job on these than the Rebels style of the GE one. The white blocks break up what is an otherwise very smooth looking lightsaber. That said, I didn’t have TG sabers before this set, so I got lucky on it!
Definitely one of my favourite sabers. I bought the original white ones in hope they would release a coupler down the line. Do the couplers attach to the white ones as well? Hoping they bring these to the parks individually, would love a set but not a scalper prices online :) Very cute videos, having you both review as father and son gives a good impression as to how both kids and adults rate these products. Well done!
The two different hilt colors are accurate to the show. If you notice on the cartoon show the lighter colored (original) scheme, that is on the flood, is meant for a FOLDING saber staff and the darker (newer) color, hanging on the wall, is meant for a static (NON-FOLDING) saber pike.
Get a nice airbrush and repaint it to the screen accurate, maybe? I si want to get the Darthmaul saber. I hope the upgrade the original like they upgraded Mace Windu's saber.
The temple guards’ lightsabers aren’t actually staves, they are called lightsaber pikes, which consists of a double bladed hilt with shorter blades than what a standard lightsaber would have
well if it was at Dok Ondar's the hilts wowuld be 129.00-149.00 but you would have to buy two, then 100.00 for the 2 blades. 358.00-398.00 so it would actually be more or less expensive because of the shipping.
You got that right!! In our first review video... I called the TG an "Elven saber" from Lord of the Rings. lol Not my style... but I try to appreciate it's uniqueness.
Awww... I'm sorry Enderkeeper!! Both the sabers felt so heavy, my brain just told me it wasn't a good idea. That connector is strong... but I didn't want to test it. lol
Honestly I’m a mess. Somehow when I’m sitting down and thinking of Jurassic park inaccuracy, I think of this channel. I also watched Spider-Man No Way Home
This Temple Guard Saber-Staff was LE to only 3000 back on 11/12/21. Why does Disney so notorious for making LE merchandise?? 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
