Melissa. You helped me so much with makeup. A little while back I participated in one of your live videos and asked a lot of questions, which you gladly answered. I am 46 and never wore makeup ever. This is the foundation I use and love it. It's looked flawless every time, except today. Today it just didn't settle right for some reason and showed some caking. I'm not sure if I used too much, or if it reacted differently because of my "Baby Skin" primer I coupled with Too Face Hangover 3-in-1 primer, which I never coupled primers before today. I'm glad you reviewed this product and thank you again for your help. The only problem I have now is finding a highlighter that works in a work environment that doesn't give a disco ball look. Suggestions?
Thank you so much for supporting me and my channel! It's a pleasure to help you with your makeup application, and I'm glad that the videos help you! This means a lot!! 🥰 Please don't hesitate to join and ask me any questions if you have some! I would love to help you where I possibly can! It could be the primer! As you already mentioned...Probably it has to do with the ingredients I already had that a few times... Are you looking for a liquid/cream highlighter (recommended for dry skin) or powder? If you are after a powder product, don't you have an eyeshadow palette where it has a shimmer skin-toned shadow that you can use as a highlighter? Or do you want to go specific with a highlighter? If you want to have a chat with me, you can message me on my Facebook page as well facebook.com/MelissaVanDijkMakeup
Hi Melissa, first of all: thank you for your great videos. They are very helpful! I would like to ask, if you maybe know of a similar foundation, as my color has sadly been discontinued and I love the formula. Thank you🙏🏼😊
Hey! :) Hmmm...Bourjois BB or CC creams are pretty close to the Maybelline Foundation: ruclips.net/video/c4BSIA6GEMY/видео.html or ruclips.net/video/UdEeFF37tvo/видео.html I also used to use Revlon's Colorstay or Candid Foundation a lot: ruclips.net/video/rSQpI3tKHM8/видео.html or what I'm currently using: Kryolan's Digital Complexion Foundation: ruclips.net/video/5Pa9rOCc9uU/видео.html
Melissa your reviews are so so useful to me!, you are so professional, honest, and I have your same skin type, I like the same finish on my skin and I think even have the same skin color in winter!... but I'm 55 so, most of the time, I try to avoid powdering. Does this foundation transfer? Can you recommend me any natural, luminous, light - light medium coverage, that don't make me feel like my telephone or my hair are going to "stick"....does it exist? may be a tint?
Hey😊thank you! I really appreciate your feedback!🥰 It's been a time since I've used it😊but I definitely can say from experience that when you're using less it won't transfer as much as if you're using a tone of product! Do you have a combination skin as well and in what climate do you live? One foundation that I love a lot is still the Fit Me foundation by Maybelline - it always will be😅then the Ordinary Serum foundation and the Revlon Candid Foundation which I love a lot too because I don't need a lot of product to apply it evenly over the face and still achieve a natural finish + love the shades! As for BB cream, I love the Bourjois Healthy Mix or their 123 perfect CC cream. Or the Maybelline Dream Satin BB cream :) Or the Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturiser!
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet yes combination skin, here in Monterrey Mexico very extreme changes in climate. Thank you I will try those ones and as you said just a little. Muchas gracias!!!
Yes you can😊 make sure to use a moisturiser especially around that area where you're dry so that it can smoothen the texture before applying the foundation😊

Hi Melissa, I have combination skin, can I use it too in summer, climate or weather remains hot in our area? Regards
Yes! :)
I've used it while living in Australia (in the tropics), and I haven't had any issues :)
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet thank you so kuch, but what if there is 40+ temperature?
@@javairiairshad3337 You can still wear it, however, you probably need to set the foundation with powder :)

Which shade is best for wheatish tone
Hmm... not sure about that, as I'm not that familiar with other shades of their line. However, you could look into shades like 118 or 120.
Is this the dewy +smooth in Netherlands 🇳🇱
I am not sure about that. But I think so. Sometimes the name just changes slightly 😉
Omg i have the same mirror😂
