This whole story makes my heart ache. The Weems did a wonderful thing through Jesus in Jacksonville. I loved attending that church when I lived there. I believe they lost their way and got caught up with the money and lavish lifestyle. I remember one sermon where Stovall would preach not to sue believers- always settle your wrongs with each other. It's just so sad to see the church and the Weems suing each other. It is destructive and at odds with the message Celebration and other churches are trying to send. Please stop doing interviews - this didn't paint you in a good light either.
Jesus and Paul had hospitality sheets.
When Stovall was asked for the proof, he's hush hush even though he's been making these accusations publicly all over the internet. Here he's mentioning 48 million to what in my opinion sounds like a shell company, and talking about how much authority he has.
1 John 4:1-6 - Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Matthew 7:15 - Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
2 Peter 2:1 - But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
Matthew 24:24 - For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Romans 16:18 - For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
Mark 7:6-9 - He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
Deuteronomy 18:20-22 - But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 - For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

So he started the church..how they kick him out? So he has a board that he put together that has power?

While the pastor did some things I wouldn’t, sounds to me like the trustees and overseers wanted to assume the power. They have no understanding of biblical pastoral leadership.
Wrong answer ! They can't assume any power without a legal review by ARC & his overseers & elders & without documentation of the evidence

Smells like a power grab.
No doubt this was an orchestrated hatchet job. They waited until after the Weems' announced the hiring of a new head church pastor, as they retired to oversee global missions. Within a few short months of the change, they laid down the hammer and took them out, with not a word of mention to the congregation. 😢
Celebration church is not the same anymore without pastor Stoval Weems! We switch churches as soon as he stepped down. To be honest with you we felt betrayed! Who is this guy he put in charge? Pastor Stovall messages were anointed! I could care less what he might of done. We are all humans and make few mistakes here and there but I believe he is still anointed! If he comes back as a lead pastor, Me, my wife, 10%, and my heart for the house is coming back! You can count on it! Also who put the mafia in charge to get rid of the founder? If you don't like it YOU LEAVE! Board of directors is a messed up system!
The mafia took him out? Really....as far as the board is concerned Stoval chose everyone himself. Also, to say you could ' care less ' what a pastor does is not a very intelligent statement. So if you like the pastor there is no line he could ever cross that would cause you to question their leadership. You just go along.......sad.
I certainly do not know this pastor or his life but I think that he is I innocent and that the allegations are made up by congratìons who are culturally of a different mindset than his teachings and Biblical perspective 🤔 He seen to be operating honestly, with transparency and within legal rights

Wrong ! Stovall appointed his own overseers & elders but he got caught ! Busted with documentation of solid evidence just like all the other ones & kicked to the curb by the hypocrites called ARC & a guy he went to college with @ LSU who he started ARC with by the name of Chris Hodges of COTHhere in Birmingham, AL !
