We had a 57 Cadillac Biaritz...the one that sloped down in the back. Loved that car... And I love this beauty too!

@elcapitan5680 I was just a kid...it was my dad's car. Eventually he gave it to my grandpa. So he never sold it. I loved riding in it, especially on road trips....people always stared at it when we stopped for gas

They didn't call them "The Standard of the World" for nothing.

There were multi lane roads in the 50's.
The passenger side mirror is useless for two reasons: 1) the vent window frame obstructs the view. 2) the mirror is so small you wouldn't be able to see anything in it from the other side of the car.
The original drivers side mirror on my 57 is tiny, and barely shows anything, and it can only be seen at an angle through the vent window. It's pretty useless. A passenger side mirror is completely useless.

The most beautiful period in the American cars history was 1955-1965. Today ? Safer but...no design, no eye catching.

Too much talking, not enough shots of the car without you in the picture.
