10000 steps is just based on an old marketing hack. I think it was a Japanese(?) company that made a step counter that went to 10000 steps before it would reset or something like that. I think studies show that anything from 5000 steps and up a day is great! Matt D'avella did a video about this recently! Just a little FYI, I know a lot of people know this and still aim for 10000 a day. Just don't feel defeated if you don't reach it, any movement is great! :)

The biggest danger to paint is EXTREME heat and cold, neither which likely applies to Los Angeles. Also, the fact that your garage is built mainly into the hillside, will also keep the temperature more constant. (Like a cave)😉You can double check with your local paint store, but I don’t think you’ll have a problem storing it in your garage.

I also upgraded to 2 10 pound weights that I do three times a week; upper body. I do nine different exercises using both wts for seven of those exercises, I do 13 reps and three sets, this is how I keep fit. Is it easy not always, but at my age I have to keep my bone strength up… nine glasses of water a day that’s imperative. I’ve always walk and worked out, since my husband died and I got Otis; he is 6 , I make it my mission to stay healthy.❤❤

I saw a hack for cutting melamine shelving. Cut the shelf with what will be the bottom side up as the blade cuts upward and what is on top is most in danger of chipping. Also cut only half way through the depth and turn it over to prevent that chipping. Can’t remember if the video said to score the melamine but I suppose if it needed it, there’d need to be two lines, one for each side of the blade width. Taping the cut only prevents a little chipping so I’d still do that as every helps.

As an American, I think it’s normal for us here not to get out much. Some cities don’t have a lot of walkways, parks, or even neighborhood paths. You also have to be careful walking on streets here because people don’t pay attention when they’re driving. It’s only safe and normal to walk around freely in “nicer neighborhoods” which isn’t the norm. Everyone that’s middle class (mostly) stays in, maybe go to a dog park, but it’s just the way our culture is here, sadly :/

I love DIY projects. You help so much. Get the Devil blades for your circular saw/miter saw. They are the best thing for not splitting wood when you cut it. They have more teeth so it’s a smoother cut.

You are one organized, industrious, hard working and smart young lady. I am so impressed with your drawer set up, it’s ingenious. Btw, what is the color and brand of your eye shadow? I am looking for a soft, brownish one for day wear and yours looks great. I am 67 and I still like to take tips from millennials! 👍🏻

Hey love! Your cuts will be way smoother with a fine tooth blade on your skilsaw, Home Depot’s Diablo blades are amazing!

When you were talking about the tall storage in the garage and said “tents? I don’t have tents who am I kidding” it reminded me of frozen 2 when Olaf says “Samantha? I don’t even know a Samantha” which makes me cry laughing hahaha! ❤

Amazing organization, MaCenna. It looks great too! It was so funny when you were looking through your DIY supplies, Kinsley was stealing stuff out of the drawer behind you. I laughed. Thanks for sharing another fabulous video! ox

Paint in the summer def not good. I had mine in there garage for a while but had eventually had to toss. Those cabinets in the garage are very nice. Cant wait to see the end product. Lovely.

MaCenna, have you ever tried to do a curly girl method on your hair? I think you could get some nice natural curls, based on your hairs texture. If not, you should try!

A random thing you can look for while thrifting is clear shower curtains. Those work great for crafts with kids. I spread them out and let them do their craft on it for an easier cleanup.

Kensley was the cutest on the walk, so sweet🥰 My husband has been taking the AG1 for several weeks now and loves it! He missed it twice and said he could really tell A difference. I also take the d3k2 vitamin drops, my vitamin D was low and its helped straighten that out for me. Anyway, loving any content/videos you post so keep 'em coming!!😁❤
