- Spend the day shopping with mom and when we got home a crazy storm blew through and a TREE fell on my workshop area are the cottage! Scared me to death! But luckily nothing was badly damaged

As an English teacher, I need to give props to whomever that book collection belonged to - those were some fantastic texts. Classic literature gets such a bad rap for being boring but not if you find the right ones, and almost every one in my top ten classics was there - Wuthering Heights is a masterpiece. I love it!
I’m proud to say I’ve read all those books, and Wuthering Heights is one of my favourites. Favourite Bronte book, for sure! Mackenna will enjoy working through those.
I just wished she didn’t call it “Withering Heights” - three times.
I love the classics! The classism depicted in many of them is still present today.

Hey MaCenna, I just wanted to tell you that I live vicariously through your mom and yous relationship as I lost my mom in a fatal car accident when i was 17. I’m now 31 and the pain never goes away. Also, I love watching y’all thrift shop that was my pastime with my aunt who passed from cancer in July. Your videos inspire me and comfort me.

I lost my mom almost 20 years ago and this March she would have been 101. I miss her everyday also. The older I get the more I miss her. Turning 62 this April. Hugs from NYC ❤
Me too. Watching close Mother & Daughter relationships filled with laughter and those sweet, special little moments......makes me SO happy for them, but also sad for myself at the same time. I lost my Mother at a young age and I know we would've been the best of friends today.❤

@@TamarLitvot thank you. Unfortunately she was the one family member who believed the misinformation and refused to get vaccinated. Covid destroyed her heart function and she slowly died over 8 months time. The emotional distress we’re all feeling is just so extreme and exhausting because all that suffering and her death didn’t have to happen. She was only 58. My mom is taking it really hard. Parents should never have to bury their children.

I lost my Mama in 2020 not to Covid. It’s so hard but watching these are so heartwarming.
I enjoy the LA vlogs, but really LOVE the Texas ones because seeing you and your Mom together is the best! You are dong an amazing job on those cabinets, and are so inspiring, just remember to take care of yourself and don't hurt yourself!

I swear yours and your momma’s relationship is just like mine and my moms and me and my daughters. I’m always driving crazy and we love shopping together l. We are also each others best friend. Wouldn’t have it any other way! Blessed!
@calimelmo503, I had that relationship with my mom also! I miss it now that she is suffering from Alzheimer’s, it’s hard 😢 I love watching MaCenna and her mom together! I thought I was doomed not to have a daughter relationship like that because I have a son, but my husband’s daughter (who he had not seen for years) got in touch with us after her mom passed, so I have that with her and I am super close to my son and Mama Fox to all his friends. Then he met his girlfriend and she and I share brain cells, I swear!!! She is so precious and I love her to pieces! Now I have the best of everything, a close amazing relationship with my son and being a boy mom, and my stepdaughter and daughter-in-law to be are my daughter/mom relationship that is so special also! For a woman who had major infertility issues, my cup is full and running over! So thankful to my parents for modeling amazing parenting!! Macenna’s children will so benefit from her close family!

"the big estate sale in the sky". I can't stop laughing, your Mom is a hoot! How lucky you are to still have your Mom to enjoy all the fun stuff in life. I lost my Mom a year ago this month. Back in the day, she and I shared a booth together in a local antique mall. We used to sell all kinds of treasures we had found along the way. Never really made any money, but we had so much fun doing it. Enjoy every minute with your Mom, McCenna, she is adorable. Creating memories is what life is all about!
OMG! I bought the scalloped vase from TJMaxx and it fell out of my car and broke before I even got it inside! I looovveeee it! Cherish her for me 😢

The scariest storm- tornado! I have been in, a tree crashed through the sliding glass doors of the room I was in! I have major storm anxiety now😢 glad there’s limited damage!

One of my daughter's lives near Dallas and I texted her worried, during this storm. I'm so glad your damage was minor. You and your mom remind me so much of her and me. The similarities are uncanny, even down to your mom's stories about you reading as a child. I showed her your videos when we visited last Christmas and she said, wait why do they look and sound just like us? She even had to show her fiance to get his opinion, lol. The art books you can showcase open on a coffee table or a console. So glad you’re being more purposeful in your book selection! Henrik Ibsen wrote many plays, very good. Jane Eyre is such a classic.
