i really loved the anthropocene reviewed! it's nonfiction, not YA fiction like his other stuff. a lot of the essays made me feel like a peeled grape, but tbh i would suggest the audiobook (or the podcast - the book is mainly transcripts of the podcast). if you're not a nonfiction girlie, there's a short excerpt from it on youtube if you look up his essay on the song "aud lang syne" and i found it really moving. it's a good taste test for the rest of it and i highly rec that vid!
I love that just the smell (along with that gorgeous cover) convinced you to keep 'Firestarter' by Stephen King. 😂I ADORE the smell of really old, musty books... and I am fully aware of how weird that sounds, but the smell just hits differently. It's somehow soothing to the soul! Love this video! 🖤
Great unhaul I was the same way years ago when I hated a book but wanted to cover keep it lol never again. I do a new conclusion where if the books I rate 3 stars and under I donate..4 and 5 stars I keep 📚☕🦇💀🎃🕸️🕷️
Me too! We have no where good to sell books in Canada. I donate my paperback books to an organization that distribute books to prisons but for the hardcovers i end up holding on to them.

Unmasked was so good. It didn’t read like non fiction at all. I liked Hide, but I’m glad I got it from the library. I borrowed The Hacienda from the library, read about 30 pages and was bored. I returned it without finishing it. If you set up a store, I would definitely buy from you.

How much would it be to send Where They Wait, Whisper Down the Lane, Just Like Mother, What Moves the Dead and Reckless Girls to Australia? cause it is insanely expensive to buy them as hardcovers here and I really want them!! haha
If you sell any of these on etsy you know I'd probably check it out and maybe purchase some depending on what the shipping is between our provinces. At least this is a win for us Canadians who can never purchase books from an unhaul haha

Like, spoilers maybe, but the haunted stuff starts happening super early, and the stakes don't really get any higher. Like, the sense of danger feels the same throughout? It ratchets up really high but then stays there and just drags. Also the characters didn't feel like real people at all, and I definitely didn't buy their romance because what was there to like about each other? They don't really have personalities.
Olivia sells her books, could you ask her what it is called? Definitely open a store though to get rid of all your books and get at least some money back.
I loved Verity it was good I have to admit. I have heard so many people moan about Killer Vacation I have been waiting for ages for a copy of Summer Sons, Inwas meant to be sent a copy and am still waiting
