The fact the first 2 Evil Dead films were technically owned by independent film studios it’s no surprise how murky the rights for Ash Williams have always been even with his creator.
GOD I'm really starting to not like Bruce when he lies or goes around the Bush about his character he said something similar to me at one of his panels and like a month later he's announced in COD shortly after THAT revealed with voice acting and all. "I won't loan out my character" proceeds to loan out his character SMH 🙄
I mean Ash has appeared in Fortnite and now COD. So I guess if they just came to Bruce and Sam we could get Ash in MK1 then WB can get the other rights to get all versions of Ash like Evil Dead game.
Sounds like WB just made an agreement with who they thiught owned the rights. Their fault for not researching and contacting thw actual IP owner. Kind of on MGM too if they didn't actually have the rights to sell to WB
Well, it didn't stopped them to put Ash in other games such as Fortnite or Call of Duty. So yeah, I think that if they wanted, they would added him in to MK11, but now it's too late. And honestly, I stopped caring about it when I realized that MK turns in to freaking circus with clowns, instead of having it's own identity and bring back many of it's own characters that was unfairly forgotten. And judging from how things look now, I can say that they ain't gonna bring those characters back. Further more, MK1 sucks because of lack of content, unbalanced gameplay and the fact alone that WB wants to turn it in to live service game. And then we have lies from developers about inclusion of microtransactions and variety of content and stuff like that, proves that MK in general are now dead and it's more of a corporate game now for money making than the game made by people, for the people and with entertainment in mind. So yeah, they can add in to the game whoever they want, I don't care. It is dead to me and I ain't going back to it. All tho I wanna see it's downfall.
It's not going to die. Some of us will keep playing because we rather enjoy the gameplay and could care less about cosmetics. The game is fun for people who actually play decently and challenge themselves to get better. To all their own, no one is going to bat an eye that you stopped playing MK.

Second, it is not just about me but many other people who actually opened their eyes on how bad MK1 is. Just check out social media, but not so called bloggers, but a simple people who plays games casually for fun. And third, if you shills love to eat dog crap then it is not my problem. It is yours problem. I prefer actual good food. And in this case a good video game. And MK1 is far from good. Very far. So yeah, keep eating $hit, I don't care. But when reality hits you, don't say that you were not warned about it.
considering the failure of the evil dead game, perhaps now with time that bridge could be mended. I really did not like the terminator's presentation in MK11 so I think ash may have dodged a bullet and could be much better designed in another title
