Yeah, it makes no sense that it would happen on the same episode. It shows how little planning was involved in laying out the storylines for the season. Ideally, Monica would've put their names down in several episodes earlier, maybe a bit after they moved in together at the start of Season 6, and the phone call would've been a much bigger surprise.
Maybe, they offered it to her because she was the most recent addition, and the other applicants didn’t want to move their wedding dates, since they may have already had their vendors booked for those dates.
So.. since Chandler is faking the interest in marriage so he can surprise Monica and propose, why did he flip out with that phone call, especially there's no one around
Chandler didn’t pretend to not be interested in marriage until after he decided to propose. When he first heard the message he was still afraid to make a lifetime commitment but after giving it more thought he decided to propose.
they could have called everybody else on the list before her. If we assume that all those people had their ACTUAL weddings planned, not a potential one like Monica did, they simply refused to move it up because everything else was settled for the other date - guests, catering, etc.. so they went enough far down the list to reach Monica.
@@eliasshakkour2904 Actually that explanation works perfectly fine. It would be basically impossible to reschedule everything just because the venue became available sooner. Also, Chandler and Monica got married a year later so it was not so far down the waiting list that it was available right away.
It’s weird- I can’t stop thinking about that baguette Monica brought. It just looks so delicious!
So, there's a two years wait list, and someone cancel, and some how Monica got the spot, wow she really must have main character powers 😂😂
Right? 😂
🤣🤣 Yeah
Let's say that other people canceled too and the others before her were offered other days and so until it was Monica's turn

Rachel asked me to marry her .. yes I'll marry her.. put our name on the list ..

2:51😂
It’s so weird tiptoeing around someone’s fear of commitment
This is not the same place Chandler and Monica had their marriage reception in. It was different.
Ep no please
The end of S6, a few eps before the season finale, I think.
Season 6, Episode 22
Thanks
Did Monica and Chandler actually get married there?
I think so.
God bless you.
The weird thing with this clip was...there was a 2-year wait list. Even if someone canceled, it wouldn't even be her...lol

@@takeonme7477You can explain it away, but ultimately it’s bad writing.

To be fair the lady never said they were first in line now
The way that lady said about the 2 year wait sound a bit sarcastic even condescending...maybe it was not true
