The Puerto Rican plate definitely takes the win. The potato crab salad is perfect to offset the rich pastele stew and rice. The garlic shrimp looked great also.
It was a winner!

Amanda & Felix...Love Street food. All the goodies today, huli chicken yum! Grilled skewers more yum. That hot dog skewer was new for me, and it looked like a Redondo's red-hot dog, more & more yum! Amandas plate from Pochos 808 OMG! Pastele stew looked so hearty. I wish more merchants made crab potato salad as an option. Gandule rice OMG I love it. I normally get mine from Wat Get Kitchen in Waipahu OR Popolo Boys huli chicken in Pearl City. Both serve quality rice & not salty. Lastly on Sama Sama, cracked straws are no fun and I hope Amanda was ok, choking is never funny. What was funny was Felix Xray expertise determined that the straw was - fractured. LOL! You both looking skinny & loved to see Da Vonz in the episode. Great job all.

Hello Amanda & Felix...Just a follow up. Yesterday I went to Popolo Bois Huli Huli Chicken in Pearl City. The owner told me that he discontinued selling the Gandule Rice sometime ago. When I asked how come he stated that it was not profitable for him. That is really a bummer since he had an awesome rice. Everyone loved it. It was the only gandule rice that did not stick together. He still makes a great huli chicken. It is unusual since he uses a slight hint of Jerk seasoning in the Huli Chicken. Have a great day! @@AmandaFelixEats
