Great breakdown, I don’t play guitar so I find it interesting to see someone breakdown all the guitar parts in a way that’s fairly easy to understand. Thanks Wave.🤘🏻
This is a really nice series. I hope you will spend one episode looking at the vocal interplay between Miku and Saiki. That was the first thing that really caught my attention.
I really like your breakdowns! I thoroughly enjoyed the one you did for From now on... And this one is equally good! I'll never cease to be amazed at how Kanami REFUSES to play the same thing twice.... But still makes the song cohesive and catchy.
Thanks from Japan 有難う💛 for your analysis. "Manners" is a special song for me. I was wondering if I should become an O-Mei-Shu-Sama or not as a big BABYMETAL fan. But this song forced me to fall into the Pigeonhole. Especially chord progression of acoustic version, which is brighter than the electric version, made me convince that Mincho is a prodigy. Now I am busy to commute between Pigeonhole and Foxhole. Oops! It's time to head for Makuhari to see BM show. Ciao!
On behalf of the millions of us that can bash out a few chords & licks on a guitar, without really knowing what we are doing, I Thank You. You, good Sir, always give me a better understanding of what I think I'm doing. Ha! Ha! Thanks man. So cool watching your reactions/reviews/explanations. Cheers.
Nice analysis Wave! Miku's inspiration for pick slides: ruclips.net/video/gD2mhJ3ByGQ/видео.html 01:10 and 03:22 (Tokyo Jihen was the first "cool rock band" she was exposed to as a teenager and Sheena Ringo obviously inspired her a lot for shiny guitars too 😉 )
Great Interpretation Wave, Truly you have so much Developing since the first time I seen you play the guitar Plus Now seems like you finally found your Own Signature of "Face Guitar..." hhe...
Nice breakdown of the guitars in this song! For a Band-Maid song, the guitar parts are quite "simple", but they sound so good. I can't wait to see your next video on this, because MISA is adding so much to make the song sound fuller, while Akane goes the MIku route for a quite simple (once again: for a Band-Maid song) but solid foundation.
MISA! MISA! MISA! I've had arguments with my friends over this song...they really don't like it as much as other Band Maid songs and they can't really tell me why..but I think I know why..they lean more Metal (and for some silly reason, Pop) and i'm old school Rock'n'Roll and I appreciate more 'nuance vs. drive' than they do, so this song is definitely in my zone and that's why it is in my Top 3 Band Maid Songs!! And Miku's "Yeh Yeh Yeh" in the middle still reminds me of Joan Jett in the earlier days! Great breakdown Wave!! Put your Kitsune UP!! Po!
Thanks Wave. You just do a great, wonderful job with your deep dives directly on the instruments. This is music education at its best for me, to understand even better the magic of B-M. Highly appreciated and respected. I absolutely love everything Mincho does, such an amazing, refreshing and unique guitar player and composer. Keep up your nice work. Cheers from 🇨🇭
I was listening to some 90’s grunge the other day. It was hard to listen to 3 power chords and no double kick after listening to Kanami and Akane for so long!
You do a great job Wave. My friend Steve played this song for me on his phone and was the first Band-Maid song I ever heard. It still reminds me of Bad Company (who had some great moments actually, though I prefer Free).
@@wavepotterwellness hey Wave my band Paint and Copter has a new video with vocals called Leave You Feeling that I think you would find interesting. We chatted with Old Mr. B yesterday, he said he’s going to react to it tomorrow. New album next week!
Nominated for 2 Grammys, could this have been on Kanami-san's list? En Vogue --- ruclips.net/video/i7iQbBbMAFE/видео.html Band-Maid --- ruclips.net/video/iaf94nNSRGE/видео.html

Same ! (different "wave" )
Love your breakdown. Makes a non-musician like me feels like a musician when listening to your breakdown. Cheers !

Thanks, Wave. Always good for a non-musician (like me) to hear these types of breakdowns, and really aids in more fully appreciating the song.

Fabulous work on these Manners videos. Might need to do a series of these for Chemical Reaction just to make Champ into a convert finally.

I remember you telling me a bit about that in Seattle! That’s awesome!
