the wisp thing was actually pretty funny bc i talked to the animator who helped make wisp and she said the ass was a mistake with how her legs have to be positioned
It's seems to be very common in mechanically intense games, warframe LoL, Doom, DS all have neat lore, yet they can be fully enjoyed just by the gameplay
24:25, I went to tenno con 2019 and was blessed to actually get to play stalker mode. they had a booth where people with set characters and gear would play a defense mission while another player would connect into that match as the stalker and try and kill players. It was a lot of fun, but considering the vast difference in movement and reactions in Ai stalker and player stalker, I doubt it will ever truly get added into the game. People getting smacked down by a strong stalker player will complain that they can't get the rewards from killing the stalker, while some stalker players would likely just match into a game and let themselves get killed.
@@124085 so you... hate people...? Because thats how humans work, or rather, how the world works, the path of least resistance is usually the path people and even the universe takes.
"Look at them, they come to this place when they know they are not pure. Tenno use the keys, but they are mere trespassers. Only I, Vor, know the true power of the Void. I was cut in half, destroyed, but through it's Janus Key, the Void called to me. It brought me here and here I was reborn. We cannot blame these creatures, they are being led by a false prophet, an impostor who knows not the secrets of the Void. Behold the Tenno, come to scavenge and desecrate this sacred realm. My brothers, did I not tell of this day? Did I not prophesize this moment? Now, I will stop them. Now I am changed, reborn through the energy of the Janus Key. Forever bound to the Void. Let it be known, if the Tenno want true salvation, they will lay down their arms, and wait for the baptism of my Janus key. It is time. I will teach these trespassers the redemptive power of my Janus key. They will learn it's simple truth. The Tenno are lost, and they will resist. But I, Vor, will cleanse this place of their impurity."
Void Glitch didn’t post leaks, he only datamined drop rates (data mining was the only way of getting accurate drop rates back then, since this fiasco there are now official drop tables). That’s part of why his cease and desist was so controversial, nothing he did harmed DE, and he wasn’t involved in the Umbra/Sacrifice script leaks. DE unfairly went after him because he was well-known, not because he did anything wrong.
@@CoolKid369 That rap tap tap made the hairs in my spine go up, from that point on I watched on edge expecting another jumpscare hahaha (For those reading that will now be cautious, it's not a visual nor ear rape jumpscare. You're safe)

I remember it happening in the loading screen before the stalker appears When it happend to me for the frst time i screamed in terror and turned off the pc
I think it's suppoused to be a message from Natah. Something about "It's ok my child, something something" Maybe it was her last message to the Operator before she put them into stasis on the Moon
It's actually insane how much change WF has gone through... I had mostly forgotten most of these, if even present to witness these events due to inactive periods. This was a blast from the past, nice video and great humour XD!
14:49 I once had the most HILARIOUS quirk on a lich. Fear of children, which caused me popping out as the operator to make the lich just STRAIGHT UP ESCAPE.
Black Lotus was probably the inspiration for Nora Night if I had to guess. Aside from that, I'm surprised you didn't mention the cryptic red text that occasionally pops up during loading screens.
Also surprised the red text didn’t make it. It’s not that noteworthy anymore, originally it was a teaser for the Second Dream quest (the text was in the game for a bit before the quest was even added), and hinted at its big reveal when you decoded the Orokin script, but most new players now get to that quest relatively quickly, so they might not even see the text prior to finishing it, since it’s quite a rare easter egg. It’s still an interesting part of the game’s history, though, so it should probably be on the iceberg.
I started playing right when the game came out on Xbox, so it's cool seeing players in the comments who've been playing for even longer than me. Much respect for those who have stuck with the game for so long.
Daamn, I saw the add banner on armorgames iirc Thought "looks interesting, pity there's no way my pc will handle that" (though I still signed up) Some time later a friend reminded me of the game's existence... And it turned out I had a free lato vandal (and 150 platinum) Damn, I feel old
I know this was 9 months ago but same. I came in at the launch of the open beta, update 7 when banshee was released. Seeing old photos of the game reminds me how simple of a game it used to be. Saying I remember when they added different tilesets makes me feel a million years old.
I see the female Excal and raise you, female Ash. They couldn't implement the feminine features (mainly a ponytail) due to not having the physics for it when Ash was created, so they reference the original design in Ash Prime's design by bringing the ponytail back. :)
Thoughts as I go: Fun fact in regards to stat sticks: in the past, prior to the melee rebalances, the Mire's toxin damage was programmed really weirdly. Rather than being a damage value on the weapon itself, it was a passive bonus to all melee damage, which thereby made the Mire the best stat stick - on top of inheriting all of its mods, your exalteds would also gain 10% bonus Toxin damage. Coptering was funny with slow melee weapons, since you would _actively lose speed_ when trying to do it. My personal theory about Grineer English is that all Grineer are _trying_ to speak English - unfortunately for most of them, their clone-rotted bodies are simply incapable of speaking properly. Some things in game actually show evidence of the Grineer's English degradation; "Nitain" is, based on its description, a linguistic corruption of methane. I imagine that Necramech stamina is running on limited time anyways; both prior attempts at stamina meters (the original and on Railjacks) eventually got culled, so this will probably eventually go away too. Mutalist Alad V wasn't dropped; he was cured in an event. Confusingly, a lot of his involvement in the game (the Second Dream, Ropalolyst, etc) are set _after_ his curing, despite the Patient Zero quest being further down the starchart; this is because in the past Eris was much earlier on in the game and you would have opportunity to do PZ before any of that.
I know absolutely nothing about Warframe, but still found this to be really entertaining and intresting. I think that's a testament to the quality. Proud of you gamer.
@@lucasmann8578 its sad because they've done the same, grindy, boring and buggy missions for 1200 hours. I would know a thing or two about it considering I put 800 hours into warfarme and what a fucking mistake that was
1. Grandmother isn’t a scientist, unlike Margulis 2. Margulis wasn’t orokin, unlike grandmother It would still be cool, but they’d have to stretch pretty far to make it work
@@throg4657 1. That's true, I believe in game or some piece of lore somewhere that it says Grandmother is/was neither a soldier nor a scientist. 2. That's possibly subjective, though. Since Orokin society and culture is so stratified, the Orokin elite viewing lower classes (possibly including the Archimedians) as not true Orokin as a cultural practice means the reality might not be so cut and dry. Even Alad V is referred to as Orokin by Hunhow, and the "purest" Alad could possibly be is being of Orokin descent, barring some bizarre twist. And while hypocrisy is not outside his character, I'm not sure someone as vain and classist as Ballas would have openly been lovers with Margulis if she weren't Orokin. It certainly would be neat if Grandmother turned out to be Margulis, if still far fetches like you said. It'd have super wild ramifications for the lore.
@@Churchgrimm Well, we atleast know Margulis didn't have the whole elongated arm and blue skin thing going on, since when natah was turned into the lotus, she was made in margulis' image. I would also mention that margulis was obliterated by the jade light for acting against the orokin, but that could easily be retconned by simply saying "oh Ballas helped her fake it" or whatever. Speaking of which, Ballas went to pretty great lenghts to try and get Margulis back, even giving himself up to natah because he thought she'd keep Margulis' personality (and of course he was turbo wrong), and it just seems weird that he didn't think to search the system for her before allying with his peoples literally biggest enemy.
Some that are outdated now, but the 'hydroid prime trailer when' and 'ghoul saw when' memes, where the community literally bullied DE into finally putting them in game
To be fair, the Hydroid Prime trailer was expected before they decided it was too much a hassle to make fully animated prime trailers, and the Ghoul saw was mentioned "planned to be an usable weapon" when they showed the guy.
@Gigz no, Ghoul Saw is being put into the game Dev streams have confirmed this, they have working physics and stuff for it, they plan for it to come this year
@@SplicerOtter They also implied that they'd entirely forgotten about the ghoul saw for a long time since first teasing it. But yes, they've very recently remembered or been reminded, and are now bringing it.
Hearing the Rap Tap Tap actually scared the hell out of me but made me remember how much I enjoyed playing the story quests from this game, most enjoyable part of the game for me when getting to last ones.
@@CoolKid369 I don't think I was even playing warframe during that debacle, but as soon as I saw what could have been and what we got I was outraged. I seriously have no idea how DE went from "charcoal and fire" to "chicken" during the redesign, but I'm still pissed.
I'm starting to think that the reason Onkko decided to disappear was because he already saw the new war coming and realized that he needs to help the tenno to make sure they will win.
The excal haunting the void could be an old asset used during the original dark sector conflicts of update 13. When in the mission you would receive broadcasts from the warlords of both the clan you fought for and against. Some funny things could occur where you would see a rhino with an ember head and such.
This iceberg video feels so smooth, usually iceberg videos made by small youtubers either have shitty mics or the research is bad. Great job on this video!
- The Mashed animation wasn't a fan animation that "became so popular it got its own glyphs", to my knowledge they were commissioned by DE to make it and glyphs were made to promote it. - Before an update, you could get both the megnetic hazard and coolant leak hazards in sabotage missions by first inserting a coolant cell into the fuel slot, then the fuel cell into a coolant slot. In the new corpus ship tileset the magnetic hazard is present instead of fire hazards when reinserting the fuel cell, while you get a blackout inserting the fuel cell into a coolant slot. - While the theory stuck for a long while specially with the "proto" skins being added, DE ultimately stated there is no connecting link between Dark Sector and Warframe.
Great video, you forgot to mention negative damage, and also blue crits. IIRC blue crits occured back in the day when shield disruption was equipped by the whole squad, which surpassed 100% shield strip vs corpus
Yo this is pretty crazy. The TheFacelessDealer impersonator was genuinely me. I am currently drunk and laughing my ass off at this vid, so many good old memes and stuff. For the Faceless part though, it wasn't the Discord screenshots that were impersonators/fakes, it was the in-game screenshots. That exact screenshot you show at 48:45 was literally me trolling in-game for fun. Good video though, I enjoyed it. Warframe is a shit-show and I'm here for it.
Fun fact about the Lotus/Natah spirit in Smash Bros, you actually can still obtain it. Spirits introduced in events are eventually circulated back into the normal Spirit Board with the same chance to appear as any other spirit. Good luck plugging away at the board though, because there’s a metric fuck ton of spirits. Also, my theory on the black squares bug is probably because of the thing you’re playing Warframe on’s processing power, because I attempted to do a couple Kuva Fortress nodes on the Switch’s portable mode and the bug was all over the place there.
to me it looks like an issue of effects intensity, before I dropped "effects intensity" down to 100 turrets in Grineer desert outposts were basically Epilectic Porygon but worse.
I had this very badly during the war within quest where my entire screen turned black, if you turn off the effect called "bloom" in options it should be fixed :) (switch)
Funny enough, my first Eidolon kill was only successful thanks to that day glitch - my host left once Onkko said that Teralyst retreats, and beacause of the migration, he didn't go down into the water
Remember the glitch during Update 15.5: Mutalist Incursion, where having an allied Boiler, either as Nyx or Nekros, cause them to rapidly spawn a fuckton of Infested on your side and eventually crash the game?
Before the movement rework, you could only get up to certain high ledges using Excalibur's Super Jump or by running up a nearby wall and doing a backflip onto the ledge. I chose Volt to start so I didn't have Excalibur. I spent several hours trying to properly time a backflip to get the final locker on a Void Sabotage mission to get prime parts. It was a public mission where only one person joined and he stayed the whole time trying it with me. That is how I met my oldest friend in Warframe.
Jeez, I feel like Excalibur is haunted sometimes. First he appears in the rewards screens AND he appears in the void observing you! Someone should make a creepy tale about some void explorers encountering a mysterious warframe who just observes them
1:01:24 (Take this with a grain of salt this is just what I’ve gathered) only Tenno and the sentients (and probably albretch entrati) have oro, it’s made when something makes contact with the void and their “void twin” is created. which is a copy of them but in the void that cannot die. Only people who have an oro can truly kill a person with an oro (the little glowing ball that sentients drop when you kill them is their oro and that’s why it refills ur shields and energy when picked up)
To add to that theory(if it is one) When you die as operator in story mode you briefly see your character floating in the void then you respawn. its probably their void twin. Duviri might eventually be about it.
I got something weird happen to me when playing warframe once. I was in a hijack mission on Europa playing volt, I was getting into the game so I was super weak compared to everyone else. I get killed by something that looks like me from a distance. I revived myself and got close to the thing. It was an enemy labeled as Banshee Prime, and it was pretty much just a hostile specter wielding I think maybe the Euphona prime. I decided in my 11 year old mind “Hey, I wonder what this random enemy would drop”. So I threw everything at the enemy warframe using about like 4 specters and lots of energy pads. I was super weak at the time so it took me a while for an 11 year old boy with a console to kill something that I would consider a bug with the boltor and a volt. I eventually kill it, but it drops nothing but exp/affinity. After that I completed the mission as normal. I’d say it’s my most fond memory of playing the game.
I actually remember being the Leader of the Cult of Redtext for a bit, it was stupid but eventually I left because holy fucking shit the wait was forever, but it was fun.
In reference to "Black Lotus" could that character be related or *actually be* an early version of Nora Night? My on-going theory is that DE has been preparing us for the Death of Lotus/Natah, and the possibility of Nora stepping in as guide and caretaker of the Tenno. With the onset of the final part of The New War, lingering theories of what The Duviri Paradox will entail, and DE going on record saying the next Nightwave will be relatively "lighter" that would free up Nora to participate/contribute in plot outside of NW. Plus there are already theories questioning if Nora herself is actually a Tenno... maybe an Alt-Universe Tenno crossed over attempting to guide this universe's survivors of the Zariman Ten Zero Void-Jump Incident.
I still have my starter loki but by now I'm MR 16 with about 29 Prime warframes crafted I will never let go of that starter loki, I remember thinking the game was so cool being able to go invisible, but that was all I was able to do at the time lol
As someone who got into the game in 2020, this video was really fun and informative. Thanks for putting the effort to make this mate! Also, I wonder where the 10k forma Vauban would fit into the iceberg
I'm honestly not sure if any placement could accurately show the sheer willpower that was required for the 10k forma Vauban. Regardless, I'll add an explanation of it to the description when I get the chance. Thank you for the suggestion!
When I saw Excalibur haunts the void the nostalgia hit me like a truck that was so creepy and funny at the same time back in the day...damm man we vets have aged a lot :(
Fun little fact about the one at 32:07, xakus powers can open the 2nd lab door since he deals void damage. They can even open it before the 1st door is open.
One more thing to consider: Very rarely...and i mean VERY VERY rarely, when you return from a mission sometimes red text appears, as if typed into a console on a PC. I had this happen to me a couple of times, but so far no one was able to even remotely tell me why this happens
Good video! A wide breadth of interesting trivia, some of which is new to me. Suggestions: -the 5% droprate scandal, wherein it was stated that no void key (precursor to void relics) reward was lower than 5%, until this was proven false by dataminers. This led to VoiD_Glitch's public data git, keeping DE honest until the later legal threat and the fallout from it causing DE to maintain their public droptables. -The datamined beta quest Sacrifice quest script. -The promise that, after animated prime trailers began with Saryn, they would also be produced for unvaults. I'm still waiting on that Frost Prime trailer, Steve. -The devstream where they messed up twitch drops and gave viewers 20+ exilus adapters each. I'll never need to buy another one! Leaving off on a lighthearted one, -The infamous reddit post calculating which female warframe has the most normal human proportions (Valkyr, iirc).
Im surprised the whole fiasco where DE unintentially made a Kubrow slot machine when they were first released and got rid of it as soon as they realized that wasnt mentioned. Still great video!
1:06 I remember long ago Steve said in a devstream (prime time maybe?) "We didn't publish henta but we made it" A shame I can't find which devstream was, is a pretty old clip
A quick correction about Vampire lotus: not sure about in game transmissions, but the inbox messages containing your halloween event rewards are still delivered by vampire lotus.
(spoilers for Newest warframe update at the current moment) seems now that, thanks to new war, 36:02 is confirmed, what with the drifter's existence and, them outright stating it with "I'm the you that wasn't saved from this" when speaking directly to the player's operator
50:25 imagine if you were a grineer trying to jump the tenno but instead once you got out of the pod you jumped by a gang of rumblers. The fear in those grineers faces.
The original starter Warframes were actually Excalibur, Loki, and Volt. Volt was later swapped out for Mag, and then Loki was later swapped out to bring Volt back.
excalibur huating the void is quite similar to sevagoth and the astilla update, a ghost warframe haunting the void. this time with a ghost railjack of course.
started on update 5. i've got one for ya. an old glitch you couldnt walk through doors, but the squad could. only fix was for loki to swap spots with you. hilarious stuff
18:57 Quick correction: the Vigilante set does NOT increase your chance of getting critical hits, it increases the probability that your critical hits will be stronger than usual. In other words, every mod from the set offers an extra 5% chance for your yellow crits to become orange crits, and for your orange crits to become red.
Regarding Onko: I think its more likely that the Unum is a hivemind in which every Quill is introduced, after which they are more or less reduced to nodes in the massive network spanning the Origin System, with at least some part of their individuality intact.
You forgot about exploiter orb can be meathooked with bonewidow, blue crit on melee, basmu's broken passive, umbra's teapot set, void raid(inaros secret cosmetics), hidden amalgam sculptures on jupiter, hidden room/rare cache on sentient ship, duviri paradox's worm creature, feverspine infested kdrive, uranus secret sabotage mission, warframe's prexcard and many many more! But still, your video was very entertaining.
Bit late to this video, but it scares me that now i know the “Hey Kiddo” actually has visual impact and not just audio, considering i’ve heard the “Hey Kiddo” about 7 times this week and not once seen the operator thing before 😟
I still remember a redtext from like two months ago that was about an incoming hotfix alert for playstation and a welcome message for the new PS5 players. I was playing on the Xbox One.
Old Draco: Draco on Ceres was an interception node, and Is actually how some people used to level weapons and sometimes warframes rather fast. The team consisted of a radial javalin spamming Excalibur, an energy vampire Trinity and 1 or 2 frames to assist the Excal with a buff: Frost, Oberon, Ember and Volt have augments that buff ally damage with an element. Draco has since been changed to a survival node. I know all of this off of the top of my head because I used to level using this method, and usually played either Excalibur, or buff Frost
This is in response to the "Honorable Mentions" at the end of the video. I figured I should explain it in the comments, especially considering my history with the topic. It also unlocked long dormant memories I had since forgotten about, like that slide flip, and Stalker being threatening.
Fun Fact: Old Saryn was an alternative to Excalibur in Draco farms, that some people wanted to run for no reason, even though it was slower than Excalibur
In the grinder missions you can get both ice and magnetic hazards by placing the fuel in the coolant and then the coolant in the fuel. Fun times, but you gotta defend the four pipes which is my least favorite.
aw you should have mentioned "rainbow builds" when you talked about damage 1.0 (back when combined damage types didnt exist so you could burn, freeze, electrify and poison an enemy all at once)

Peculiar Mods: There is now a 3rd peculiar mod, Peculiar Audience, offered by Baro. Vampire Lotus: Made a return during week 4 of the Recall Ten-Zero event in 2023, during the Jack-O-Naught mission, and is now a buyable skin for the Lotus. This was a very fun video! Now I kinda get why some didnt like me using the word iceberg for my lore video, cuz this is the real deal. Thanks for this!
About The Stalker Mode that you mentioned, I Found that interesting, I already had an idea similar to that, but instead being syndicate Missions, because they Generally they hate each other, so I think they Should make that when u do a Syndicate Mission that would impact another Syndicate, and The enemies Could be of Said Syndicate, so they would need a Tenno to protect them Like for example, 4 Tenno from Steel Meridian would make an Sabotage on an Perrin Sequence Base, so 1 Perrin Sequence player Could Join that Mission, and be like a "Boss" to The Other 4 Tenno, he would need to Hunt and Kill all Tenno so that they Could not complete The Mission, also all enemies From that Mission Should be an Ally to that Perrin Sequence Tenno, só that he would have more chance Against 4 Tenno He would be similar to The Stalker, but Have total Freedom on The map, and maybe use Traps and such, would be interesting to Hunt, or Snipe some players Also that Mode Could be only Linked to Syndicate Missions, so that "Tenno War" would only Happen on Missions of Syndicates
One small correction on IgnusDei, I'm pretty sure that the reason DE wanted to change his skin design was because they found it "too sexy", trying to cover the Ember skin a bit more. The design choices didn't sit well with IgnusDei and refused to settle on them, the 2 eventually parting ways. Unfortunate.
@@simonsoupshark8009 Exactly. I was really pissed when they wanted to alter his design to the point where the 2 went separate ways, especially since he made some of their best deluxe skins back in the day.
I'm a veteran player and I would expect there to be more dark stuff involved, but this is what applies as a knowledge to most of the community and isn't harming the company or the playerbase in any way so all around a great video

Thank you that was very enjoyable to watch, well informed, and well researched without like unnecessary distracting add ons like if you repeated the whispers in the Abyss for every entry
Quick clarification: Mutalist Alad V and Cephalon Hunhow weren’t dropped, they were solved. Salad was cured and Hunhow was killed (for good this time I swear, his consciousness is basically comepletely gone aside from other Sentients possibly still persisting as his “eyes”). The rest, however, are all really cool and interesting plots that seemingly fulfilled the singular purpose of a quest that gave you a bp and no longer exist. Bummer. As for Oro, it's likely that those touched by the void are given an oro, or a "soul", that lets them see and manipulate the void's powers to some extent. StallorD has a great video on the void, but basically the theory goes somewhat along the lines of: being exposed to the void in certain ways grants an individual an oro. Some get stronger oros, like the Tenno, while others get weaker ones, like the Quills. Most individuals who enter or witness the void see it as an endless sea of white with black stars, or a vast and empty blackness. The Tenno, however, can fully witness the Void as a stream of worlds and realities, all time that is, was, and could be. Think Steins;Gate world lines. This seems to be the white tendrils we sometimes see in space near the "Void". The more I think about it, the more I imagine we have never really gone to the Void itself in-game, but rather the Void as it appears leaked into our world. The void storms and Void nodes on the map could easily be mere pockets of the dimension itself, while the actual parallel universe looks more akin to the Duviri Paradox trailer. Anyways, becoming exposed to the void may grant you its powers of perception and manipulation, but makes you more susceptible to its grasp. Rell essentially kept the Man in the Wall captive/busy by trapping himself and the Wall-boy in a transference loop. This, for all intents and purposes, fused Rell's mind and his Warframe, which would explain how he was able to die without his Oro being absorbed by another Oro. If, when we complete Chains of Harrow, we're essentially breaking the Man in the Wall loose, it could be that either (a) The Man in the Wall kills Rell by absorbing his Oro back into the Void or (b) Destroying the Warframe also destroyed the Oro, as the two were fused, and thus the Oro was disposed of without being absorbed by anything. It also explains Kuva Liches and Sentients. Kuva Liches are created by giving certain Grineer Kuva, which tethers them to the void and grants them a slight "oro". This Oro does make them "immortal", but it does not seem to grant them any insight into the void. The most power it gives them seems to be Warframe abilities, which would be manipulation of the void in certain ways. Sentients have made their own "arcane oro", but they are clearly not immortal in the sense that they come back after death. A Grineer slave uprising was able to take them down with archaic weapons, so maybe their "arcane oro" doesn't return them after death, but rather returns their "souls" to their sentient mother to fill another sentient body. Who knows?
13:18 woooow so THAT's why my strun wraith was so strong, it's both super fun and nostalgic to catch these little details after so much time has passed, especially since i was suuuuuper young when i first started playing Warframe
17:40 you used to be able to trigger two different reactions. You could put the coolant into the reactor and hack the console to get ice, then bring the reactant BACK to where you took the coolant from while the timer is going, and re-hack the console to also apply the magnetic bubbles at the same time.
34:20 Vivergate also coincided with the release Sapping Ospreys and re-release of Nullifiers, which probably wasn't a coincidence. 44:32 Not the first time data miners were vilified, some time ago (2015ish?) dataminers caught Reb either in a lie or with bad information about Forma drop rates being bugged which in turn made posting datamined info on the forums against the rules and encrypted their droptables. DE said the encryption was a scheduled security upgrade but I don't think anyone except the whitest of white knights bought that excuse. 47:44 it wasn't just the closed beta, abilities were mods for quite some time after. Seeing single ability Frost/Nekros wasn't uncommon. And the devs originally planned for the ability mods to be bought from the market, but players demanded they be dropped in mission. 57:56 there was that one site that had a 1 week countdown that revealed... another 1 week countdown. It was the Solar Rails update I think. No mention of the security breach in 2015 where a guy just waltzed into the DE studio, looked around for a day, had lunch on their tab, and they never found out about it until after he made a post admitting it?

24:25, I went to tenno con 2019 and was blessed to actually get to play stalker mode. they had a booth where people with set characters and gear would play a defense mission while another player would connect into that match as the stalker and try and kill players. It was a lot of fun, but considering the vast difference in movement and reactions in Ai stalker and player stalker, I doubt it will ever truly get added into the game. People getting smacked down by a strong stalker player will complain that they can't get the rewards from killing the stalker, while some stalker players would likely just match into a game and let themselves get killed.

Void Glitch didn’t post leaks, he only datamined drop rates (data mining was the only way of getting accurate drop rates back then, since this fiasco there are now official drop tables).

Thoughts as I go:
Fun fact in regards to stat sticks: in the past, prior to the melee rebalances, the Mire's toxin damage was programmed really weirdly.

@@sanuku535 we still don't know Grandma's name.
1. Grandmother isn’t a scientist, unlike Margulis
2. Margulis wasn’t orokin, unlike grandmother
It would still be cool, but they’d have to stretch pretty far to make it work
@@throg4657 1.

IIRC blue crits occured back in the day when shield disruption was equipped by the whole squad, which surpassed 100% shield strip vs corpus

That's an interesting idea! If this actually happens this comment is getting retroactively pinned lol.
That would've been so cool

Suggestions:
-the 5% droprate scandal, wherein it was stated that no void key (precursor to void relics) reward was lower than 5%, until this was proven false by dataminers. This led to VoiD_Glitch's public data git, keeping DE honest until the later legal threat and the fallout from it causing DE to maintain their public droptables.

Banned Zaws: I reckon this is in reference to people having Zaws removed or being banned due to inappropriate Zaw names.
Space Mom: A nickname for the Lotus that eventually turned out to be fitting.
Fun Fact: Old Saryn was an alternative to Excalibur in Draco farms, that some people wanted to run for no reason, even though it was slower than Excalibur
I have only just read the description, but my excited scribbles still stand.
In the grinder missions you can get both ice and magnetic hazards by placing the fuel in the coolant and then the coolant in the fuel. Fun times, but you gotta defend the four pipes which is my least favorite.
It's also worth noting that DE now has a public drop rate table, so data mining that isn't even needed
jeeesus christ the Rap Tap Tap caught me off guard and activated some PTSD episode on me. anyway great video man
aw you should have mentioned "rainbow builds" when you talked about damage 1.0 (back when combined damage types didnt exist so you could burn, freeze, electrify and poison an enemy all at once)
Joke aside, Rebecca really doesn't seem to age, wth
Cuz she doesn't
Rebecca is slowly draining the life essence of the rest, they're dying faster and she's rejuvenating.
The million registered lo- tenno were used as a vessel to her immortality, before sentients invade our earth. She's directing and guiding them to us.
@@kinggenderman1874 She gone the Yauvan route slow burn?
Every outdated entry, and updates to them:
Free Ignis Wraith: The Ignis Wraith blueprint has now been added to all clan chem labs.
Lotus in Smash Ultimate: Her spirit has now been made reobtainable in Smash.
Speed Nova: Since her rework in 2024, Nova can now hold cast her 4 to speed enemies up, scaling positively with strength.
Peculiar Mods: There is now a 3rd peculiar mod, Peculiar Audience, offered by Baro.
Stalker Mode: While a true Stalker mode has not been available or made available, Stalker is now a playable Warframe in Duviri, and was briefly a playable character in Operation: Jade Shadows.
China Exclusives: The Carmine Penta, Prisma Machete, and Cadus are no longer exclusive to China.
Pink Shorts: The mythical pink shorts were officially passed on to Rebecca Ford when she became creative director of Warframe in 2022, and has since become the logo for the weekly Devshorts hosted by Rebecca and Steve.
Multiverse Theory: Confirmed in the New War quest with Eternalism.
DS/Warframe Shared Universe: Might be posable now thanks to 1999.
Vampire Lotus: Made a return during week 4 of the Recall Ten-Zero event in 2023, during the Jack-O-Naught mission, and is now a buyable skin for the Lotus.
Genderbent Warframes: Kinda related, the Excalibur and Nyx protoframes are brother and sister, a nod to their development history.
Cursed Relic Items: The silver forma now gives 2 forma blueprints.
Grandmother's Name: As of Abyss of Dagath, the only member of the infested Entrati family to not receive a name finally had her old name revealed: Dagath. During Naberus one year, she gave a faceless Warframe her name and took on the moniker of Grandmother.
Hope this was informative😃
This was a very fun video! Now I kinda get why some didnt like me using the word iceberg for my lore video, cuz this is the real deal. Thanks for this!
You made a nine hour doctoral thesis about Warframe Lore, you get to use the word Iceberg all you damn well please.
About The Stalker Mode that you mentioned, I Found that interesting, I already had an idea similar to that, but instead being syndicate Missions, because they Generally they hate each other, so I think they Should make that when u do a Syndicate Mission that would impact another Syndicate, and The enemies Could be of Said Syndicate, so they would need a Tenno to protect them
Like for example, 4 Tenno from Steel Meridian would make an Sabotage on an Perrin Sequence Base, so 1 Perrin Sequence player Could Join that Mission, and be like a "Boss" to The Other 4 Tenno, he would need to Hunt and Kill all Tenno so that they Could not complete The Mission, also all enemies From that Mission Should be an Ally to that Perrin Sequence Tenno, só that he would have more chance Against 4 Tenno
He would be similar to The Stalker, but Have total Freedom on The map, and maybe use Traps and such, would be interesting to Hunt, or Snipe some players
Also that Mode Could be only Linked to Syndicate Missions, so that "Tenno War" would only Happen on Missions of Syndicates
Great Video! I actually haven't played warframe in years but I used to be obsessed with it and this was a nostalgia trip
Unfortunate.
if this is true then the irony in that is pretty strong considering frames like valkur and wisp
@@simonsoupshark8009 Exactly. I was really pissed when they wanted to alter his design to the point where the 2 went separate ways, especially since he made some of their best deluxe skins back in the day.
After playing through Dark Sector again, I realize that "Black Lotus" is actually just the main antagonist of Dark Sector, Nadia Sudek
I'm a veteran player and I would expect there to be more dark stuff involved, but this is what applies as a knowledge to most of the community and isn't harming the company or the playerbase in any way so all around a great video
The first time ive joined a teralyst farm we where chasing one up that large mountain when a second teralyst appeared over the top and met the one we were chasing and met in the middle, everyone in the group freaked out asking why the hell there where two of em at the same time
Godness, that "Peeled Loki" thing was NOT the cursed stuff I signed up to see. XD
Fun fact: the third orb mother is gonna be for trials. They’re coming back if ya didn’t know

You forgot how, when a mod was installed, the Warframe would get a light-blue, semi-transparent crystal through their right arm.
Who knows?
"Hunhow was killed" Yeaaaaaaah... about that...

I have great news about grandmothers name from the future
1:05:47 actually made me scream...
Awesome video, I really love the in-depth look into the more well-known and more obscure aspects of this beautiful game and its community!! Just... Please don't scare me again. I don't think my heart can take it haha.
I was expecting a 3 hour video. Thanks for making it down to 1 hour.
