Which would you take; Lamborghini Murcielago or Ferrari 599? 🤔
Back in the day I'm sure a 599 would have tempted a bunch of people, these days with these kind of cars going away, I bet 8/10 would get the Murcielago keys.

I miss the time when high end cars had ridiculously unapologetically v a million engines and the manual. Now that this trend is over, im depressed. To think the shifts, the noise are over, its like a nightmare that starts with a magical promise. So what will the new tuning world be about. Adding fuses, transformers, transmission towers to our electric cars 😢😢😭😭😭

I'll forever love this car, there's a guy in my city who used to daily drive his murci spyder. Unfortunately after a while it required a new engine, but bloody legend for doing it. Now counting down until its back on the road..

One of the most beautiful cars ever made. I love this pre-facelift original version with those double mid exhaust pipes!
The sound of the exhaust literally cleared my eardrums. Amazing.
The perfect balance between low and high pitch. The Murcielago sound has both the Formula 1 and the muscle car vibe to it. Both very strong and very elegant.
Murci is R8's daddy....once at night....Murci was left in dark underground garage....next to Audi S8....they were alone.....whole night.....and some time later....the R8 was born....she has dad's temperament and mom's passion....
How do you afford a Lamborghini but not a garage? . In UK lambos 200k and a garage.. 1billion!?!?!. In the states bus drivers have houses with 3 car garages.
Idk if it’s just me but the ORIGINAL Murci looks the best to me. I fuck with the LPs and SVs and even the Roadsters too but it’s just something about the original that’s so smooth and timeless. I been had a poster of an lime green ‘02 Murci above my bed for like 15 years+ it’s my favorite Lamborghini of all time and my favorite trim of the Murci.

Don't get me wrong , but when I was just came in touch with cars first , I only thought that Murcielago means ( to me) only supercar that time and I thought that other lambo models were it's copy .
The murcielago comes second on my list of favourite cars. First is the diablo. The diablo is just such a beautifull beast.
That video gives me the tingles. There's just something rebellious about a Lamborghini. It's outside of social acceptability, doesn't have the historic grace of Ferrari or the racing pedigree of Porsche. It's just an outlaw, with sex appeal.
Love that sound and the engine wow, i'll take your word it's not intimidating but for me just too wide for UK b roads...for that have to take a Porsche and settle for the f6 whine :)
To me. The Murcielago in that Giallo color is the most beautiful car ever.
Great video....shame it seems to be so hard to convert an E-Gear car to stick, otherwise doing exactly that would be ideal. Very few stick shift examples out there.
Look for the original 2002-06 Murcielago, when the manual transmission was standard.

I was recently looking up last manual options for all Supercars. And came across the Murcielago.
Too bad there are not very many examples. Really, Lambo owners of this generation should have been scolded. Auto/DCT I don't think were great options in this era. Also proven, the traction control for most cars in this era was also anemic.
90's is a great era, as proven by the rising Japanese sports car prices. Just enough electronics to make things easier to maintain. Better braking with ABS, but the rest is still driver controls.
My absolute dream car as a kid and even now. I know it's not the best supercar, it's technically not even the best Murcielago, but the 6.2 has always been the poster car for me

I've never really liked the Murcielago from the fleet of the wackiest super cars, bit understated . Bit watching the video, with great presenting really gives me a feel for what it's like. Sort of like a wild horse you have to break in. Now I want one, or if I don't win the lottery, at least experience a drive in one. Top vid boys 👏🏼 keep up the great work SCD

Most of the people loves and respect these kind of "analog" pre-2012 cars. Then why they don't produce these kind of beauties instead of today's computer trashes? I respect and like this base murcielago with manual gearbox and non-carbonceramic brakes than an aventador sv or svj.

Great video. Very nice looking car. The design has only got better with age to my eyes. I don't recall these cars crackling and popping like this one does - perhaps the engine management was altered?

Murchielago? Realy? Murchielago? Murciélago is a spanish word and it means bat. That c doesn't sounds like ch, it sounds like s in latin spanish and sounds like th (for example in "thing") in Spain's spanish. So, it is Mursiélago in latin spanish and Murthiélago in spanish spanish 😅😂. Oh and the accent is in the é, so it is MursiÉlago or MurthiÉlago, Murciélago.
The murcielago was designed by the Italians and manufactured by the Germans. Perfection.
I've had my manual Murci now for close to 5 years and it still excites me like the first day. Great fun on the open road and a wonderful sound you never tire of.
Keeps it outside! You know you have some nice cars when a manual Murci doesn't rate for garage space.

The ‘02 Murcielago is my favorite Lamborghini with the ‘96 Diablo VT.
That exhaust ruins the potential for the sound, he should get IPE, Fi exhaust or Fabspeed ...

Sport cats, exhaust, front diff delete, and a tune are all these cars need to be perfect. Would I prefer a Miura? Of course. But, the Murcielago massively accomplished in its own right.

@@scd quite. Single best mod you can make if you're comfortable with the car's handling characteristics and power. Better steering feel, less clutch wear, better turn-in, better rotation on throttle. It really showcases the rather good chassis that is sadly buried underneath the understeer of the factory AWD system.

i would take murcielago its very good car model after diablo under audi management.
I love this car, it's just rough around the edges, it's not perfect, it's got a lot of character, just meant to be driven.
