This the first and only draft i have no clue about any of the players in the draft.
If it helps 2025 is apparently pretty good.
Probably because a lot of the top guys are foreign but not hof prospects like luka and wemby, and theres really no surefire #1 or even a guaranteed star..
If topic can go to the spurs and sarr can go to a team that can develop him this class will be pretty be good. Everyone says Ron Dillingham shows flashes of kyrie so it’ll be interesting to see what happens

@@JosePerez-yh4qmyou don’t trade Poole because no one is taking that contract and he’s been averaging 20pts and 8ast the past few games. Shows he can be a serviceable PG. You don’t have two undersized Guards. Take Stephon so that you have some that compliments Poole and the other guys on the team. Our GM helped make that OKC team. He’s going to draft the same kind of guys. Which is Stephon. 2 way big guard.

Spurs have so many assets they can make any move they want . Trade up in draft , trade away their pick(s) to move up or down , make a blockbuster trade , going to be exciting to see
For me Salaun is underated, he has crazy potential
He will be top 10 no doubt, this kid is scary, when he’ll bulk up he’ll be like Giannis. Either way franchises want defensive players now, and France is the world’s n°1 place for that market. They need to compensate for the low defensive IQ of the AAU/NCAA boys.

I feel like Donovan Clingan will get selected top 10. His combo of height and defense is enough to be at least a 20 minute player. Zach Collins has a job in the NBA for god sakes (and was also a lottery pick)

@@SuperJay12jay Edey is 2 years older and a 2x NPOY. Not only that, but he's probably one of the top 5 most dominant big men in the history of college basketball. Why don't you look at what Edey did as a freshman and sophomore, he was a nobody and then he made an enormous jump as a junior. Clingan was light years better in his first 2 years of college than Edey was and there is no reason why he can't make as big of a jump as Edey did in the coming years.
Unbelievable !!! Even in a simulation, my Wizards get the short end of the stick like always. After finishing no worse than 2nd worse record and get the last possible position to draft . This is crazy ( even though only a simulation). Sure to land when ping pong balls are picked 😮
With all the question marks in this draft I think I’m pushing dilligham up to top 3. His combination of shot creation, playmaking and shooting should give him a safe floor with high upside even if his defense doesn’t come around. Big concerns with Nikola, Matas and cody Williams not being able to shoot keeping them off the floor.
Clingan should be first pick regardless of who gets the #1 pick. Best player in draft hands down

If Clingan and Sheppard were off the board, it'd be bad for the Grizzlies. In this case they should probably trade down for a big instead of drafting a one-dimensional scoring wing. No need for another when they already have GG and Williams Jr., who are versatile. They also have the others who aren't any good.

Edey will prove American scouts wrong. Just like every other starting center in the NBA has (they are almost all international talents who were criticized for their athleticism coming into the league).

Just an awful take. Can Rudy Gobert shoot? He is absolutely elite defensively, if you looked at any metrics from this college season you would know what a massive impact he has defensively. He defended well against Edey, he just made a ton of tough hooks and Edey didn't score a single field goal for the last 6 minutes of the first half against Clingan. He's going to be the next Rudy Gobert.

If the Grizzlies next season have Ja Morant, Dalton Knecht, Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson Jr and with the emergence of GG Jackson plus the other supporters that they have on their team they will take a leap just like the Thunder did this season.
Alex Sarr is a good pick, but Charlotte has Mark Williams who already had a great season before getting hurt. He was a double double machine so Sarr's fit would be questionable. I wonder if they can make it work

They shouldn't care at all about Mark Williams. They have to take the best prospect, especially if they have the 1st pick. Of course they shouldn't draft a point guard because LaMelo is a future star, but that's all.

@@ericperales4505 I prefer the prospects of Reed and Williams over Topic and Dilliangham 🤷🏽♂️ Reed is the best shooter in the class and is a very disruptive defender, Williams provides size, three point shooting and some self creation. Topic is a really good passer, sub par shooter and doesn’t do much on defense. Rob has questionable playmaking skills and not close to Reed in terms of a shooter. Watching the Spurs all year long it’s obvious they need help with shooting and perimeter defense

Yes, Murray and White can shoot now, but it took like 4 seasons for them to develop a consistent shot and I would rather get immediate spacing relief with Sheppard

Hope the Spurs don't fall that far back, but I do like the Cody Williams selection. I can guarantee you they won't select Sheppard though. Selecting Dalton Knecht would be much more likely.
Collier before Castle is kinda crazy to me. I could easily see Castle going in top 5-10. Risacher as 2nd is not earned anymore in my opinion. His efficiency has fallen greatly recently.

@@goodhair420 to Me Matas IQ on both ends is much higher than Williams. We need IQ players too. Look at the difference in how Wembanyama and Mamu play with each other compared to say a Wembanyama and Collins. Night and Day difference
Reed and rob both happened to have their worst games at the worst time . If you seriously doubt them after one then that’s ludicrous. Coach Cal did them no favors
I liked coach Cal but considering Rob and Reed consistently played better than wagner, either Rob or Reed should have started with the other being the sixth man and Wagner left to fight for playing time. I was disappointed with how Cal did not use Thiero and Edwards better. I would demand better defense and rebounding out of those two. Show me that before they wander out for three's. This was the biggest team we have had in a long time but they were always waiting for rod and Reed to come in and takeover. Such wasted resources.

More players seeking a quick fix and short cut. I expect a 4 to 6 year development process in the league. This length of time is needed for physical and mental growth. The fans and NBA team that drafts another One-and-Done will have to wait patiently for the wave of ups and mostly downs during this phase.
An 18 year-old struggled to perform against Oakland University in March Madness, how is it even possible to think he’s NBA ready? This and many other similar examples is why the American basketball ecosystem is broken in the men’s game.

If my Spurs stay in the top 4 we need Topic, and if we get the Raptors pick, Knecht needs to be our target. Eventually, we could have a starting lineup of Topic, Kencht, Vassell, Sochan, and Wemby, with Tre Jones, Collins, and KJ off the bench. Of course, that is if we don't swing for the fences with a trade for Trea Young.
