Risk is a strategy board game of diplomacy, conflict and conquest. Turn rotates among players who control armies of playing pieces with which they attempt to capture territories from other players, with results determined by dice rolls. Players may form and dissolve alliances during the course of the game. The goal of the game is to occupy every territory on the board and in doing so, eliminate the other players

In a shocking turn of events Ross has turned out to be the first member of the trio to understand some Risk tactics
To be honest the all have different play styles and therefore different tactics, but nobody's great on the first try. (I know this is like their 7th time but they are slowly learning.)
@@the_enderslayer But Ross is the only one trying to stop the other's bonus'. At least, he seems to be.
@@christiankrarup6501 The others try, but Ross does it more than the others. Trott did a lot of that (or at least tried but oof bad luck) and Smith tried a few times but usually got preoccupied with getting himself bonuses.
Did you watch the same video that I did? Ross just got lucky as hell with his rolls again and again.
Watching this series is like listening to the fixture results on talk sport.

Smith spends all his troops trying to get a bonus, which Ross takes away before its his go again, hence he doesn't get 1 extra troop he spent 5 troops trying to get. Every dam time.
Honestly I watch these just for the commentary that Ross gives. Keep up the good work Rob

Risk is the only sport I enjoy watching. I especially like the observant commentary.

@@yuzuruotonashi659 idk I enjoy the commentary. It's like when they played Rocket League and they'd do shouting commentary at all the "screamers" and "mixing" etc. I find it entertaining but I can understand that not everyone will like it. This version of risk (and risk in general in my opinion) isn't super interesting other than repeated failed dice rolls so it's nice having the commentary to compensate for the lack of things going on.
Just so you know the Blitz button just rolls all of your dice at once, rather than doing them individually, doesn't give the Blitzer an advantage 😊
It has minor advantage in that it's a 9v1 dice roll, rather than a 3+3+3v3 dice roll. You run the risk of losing more troops with blitz.
I think quarantine has hit ross the hardest turning him straight into a sports commentator.

Chaps, please, "blitz" is just a shortcut to roll dice continuously until you reach an outcome. It's got the same odds of winning or losing as rolling the max number of dice yourself. It's not OP, it's not underpowered, it's just probability

It would be more interesting if they secured borders through distributing and holding with reinforcements instead of just hail marry rampaging every turn. If just one person played slow and defensive they'd probably steam roll the mid to late game because all the other lands are mostly 1 unit strong or average less than 10 at the most. Also I know its been said multiple times now in the comments but all blitz does is throw dice automatically until you have one unit or win. It's more tactical to roll each time allowing you pull back to preserve units but there's no real point to that if you're going on death marches every turn anyway.

I like them not using blitz because it gives Ross more to commentate on, haha!

Blitz being overpowered isn't as bad as the complete trash that are the normal rolls. Besides everyone can use Blitz.

Why does Smith always move his troops terribly and fail to fully invest them in one place, weakening himself to slowly be bashed back until he dies, Ross uses both of their failure to dedicate to creep on them with sheer numbers and they don't develop against it it seems...

Does anyone else feel like the game is heavily weighted in Ross' favour? Like all of his rolls are just so much luckier than Smith and Trott's
