- When I saw Iron Man 3, I was blown away. One of my favorite things was the soundtrack by Brian Tyler. I especially liked the end credits theme, Can You Dig It. I found it a bit short for listening, though, so I extended it and changed the ending slightly. I hope you like it!

Out of all the Iron Man themes, this is SO him, by FAR. It's upbeat, high tempo, it's got Jazz, pizzazz, it sounds cocky, over-confident, it sounds like Robert Downey Jr.'s wild side, and most important, it sounds like Tony Stark's genius billionaire playboy philanthropist persona personified in Song. I LOVE IT!

I hear ya man, but on a very personal note I prefer Ramin Djawadi's score for the first one, the loud guitars in conjunction with the epic horns are splendid, I would have loved if that theme lasted to this day :'(

You know it's funny how a relatively unknown hero is now one of the most recognizable faces in Marvel's history.
We're the Iron man comics not that popular back when they first started coming out?
Seabass G Nope. Everyone knew Spider-Man, The X-Men, and Captain America but unless you were a comic reader you didn't know who Iron Man was but now he's instantly recognizable.
+Seabass G Iron Man, Cap, and others were popular within the comic book circles. But as far as the mainstream public was concerned, the only well known heroes were Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man. Maybe Wolverine too. But now the MCU has introduced all these characters to the mainstream audience. And obviously, Iron Man is the one leading the charge.
According to Bob Layton, when he and David Michelini left Iron Man ongoing in the early 80's, Iron Man comics started selling out within 500, 000 copies per month. So no, Iron Man was not relatively unknown. Maybe he was unknown for the general (sheep) audience. But their opinion is irrelevant anyway, since they're the ones who made this shitty movie successful.
Please avoid using the word "sheep" when describing a group. It makes people dismiss you outright and shows you're snobish.
I actually like IM3 tohugh and wasn't one of the people who were pissed about the Mandarin twist.

As far as I'm concerned, this IS the definitive Iron Man theme. It manages to express the entity that is both Tony Stark and Iron Man adequately. And I dare say, there's a bit of Robert Downey Jr. in there too! Anytime I think of Iron Man, this is the music that goes through my head! No other theme, in my opinion, does Iron Man / Tony Stark proud. And yes, I loved all the movies, having been a die - hard Marvel Comics addict since I was knee high to a grasshopper. As the great Stan Lee would say; Excelsior.....!!!

The Iron Man Trilogy is one of my favourites because of this and the fact that it feels like a rollercoaster if you watch them all in order.
1 set the stones.
2 gave us War Machine and Ivan "I vant my Burd." Vanko.
3 showed us Tony in a vulnerable state and his determination to move on.

+Alex Roberts I'm thinking they use Brian Tyler's Marvel Fanfare instead of the short one while playing back some scenes from each of their movies, then they end up with the Marvel Logo
This has got to be the coolest MCU theme and somehow suits well for Stark's flamboyant style.

One of the best ending sound tracks of all time; I remember that I actually enjoyed staying for the credits when Iron Man 3 first came out in theaters. This past year we got to actually play this song in Marching band as well since we did a Marvel show (for CC btw); this was one of my favorite songs to perform during the show!

@@zimmz1479 Yeah, being in the Band of Gold definitely made up for my high school band that I was in; my freshmen year was the best, but then it went all downhill after the head director was fired for some stupid reason (he didn't ride the school bus on the way back from Universal Studios which shouldn't have been a reason for getting fired as there were plenty of chaperones on the bus).
I just graduated from MGCCC this year, and I will be playing in the Famous Maroon Band (Mississippi State University's band) this fall! I'm going to miss being in the Band of Gold, but I am looking forward to playing up at MS State. Try to do band in college (assuming you're in high school right now) if you can because college is a lot better than high school (and surprisingly easier); don't give up hope bro, just try to get through it as best as you can. Also, (still assuming you're in high school) enjoy it while you can as college does require more studying on your own part, and having to write research papers right before finals really sucks.
(I apologize for my comment being really long; I'm a bit of a chatty person when it comes to texting/typing on a computer or my phone).

I love the fact that we get both the epic orchestral version of this theme (on the track just called Iron Man 3) and this version, which is epic in a different way.

Initially I was gone on the 'Avengers Assemble' theme. Ringtone, wallpaper, the works. And then, and then THIS happened. Fantastic stuff. Watching the closing credits with this playing ALWAYS puts me in a good mood. EXCELSIOR!

This is a superhero theme song that gives me old school goosebumps. This rivals "The Green Hornet", "Spiderman" and "Batman" in terms of kick-ass heroic anthem. This. This is what they should be shooting for in every Marvel theme.

Iron Man 3 is awesome on so many levels. We've never seen a superhero like Tony Stark, a fallible man, on the edge of a nervous breakdown.
