  • 🎙️ Welcome to another episode of Cars without Sausage Podcast.
In this throwback video, I share the story behind the tZero, the electric vehicle which inspired Tesla Motors. Pete Gruber, CEO of Gruber Motor Company has one of only three tZero vehicles ever made. He tells us about the story of how it was made, and how it inspired Elon Musk to develop Tesla and the first-ever Tesla Roadster.
Want to see Pete's tZero up close, visit his Tesla Service Centre in Phoenix, Arizona.

Clever, (no pun intended), n'est-ce pas? And, it actually makes sense. Beats getting stuck in the middle of nowhere until one finds the next EV charging station. As they say, necessity is the Mother of Invention. It's also the path that leads to innovative solutions. I.e.: The installation of more batteries in each vehicle to extend the drive time. God help our planet!
