They were playing every month at the monopole in upstate ny
For free
On campus in the rain on a Saturday afternoon
It was like they are true hustlers
Most hippie kids were hiding under the dry roofed areas
They were grinding electric set in the pouring rain outside no shelter it seemed unreal I remember seeing rain all over their amps guitars etc
Nuts
They showed up for a blizzard once at monopole and it snowed again while they were playing
2 ft of snow on the ground and continued snowing during the show most people were not coming out they drove there from Philly probably over 6 hrs one way minimum
Wow can’t believe they are better then ever
They used play a double to triple set at the venue 2-3 hours something like 2 times a month sometimes 2 times a weekend
No matter which side of the fence you are on, really great music makes friends and builds community CASE FUCKING CLOSED

They seem revived and dialed in the past year. This show is straight fire with incredible jams. They've doing a great job blending new and old music, and giving some oldies a facelift.

Omg its been 20 already wow , hell from Camp Bisco 1, to now 2023 they still can make my meatsuit tune right to their frequency. Everything synch to them each instrument had my body pulled in for the ride... Man i feel old now lol✌️

Sept 21 1996 - Middle East in Philadelphia, PA with a saxophone. night 2 at the Cap was my 275th.
Very nice. You missed one of the band's greatest shows of all time by merely one night. The 04/14/01 jigsaw is a jam that I return to pretty routinely. ST2k1 gets overlooked a bit by the legendary fall tour of that year.
I hope they are still playing here in 6 years when my kids turn 18 😂
