Alex Skolnick is the most versatile guitar player in thrash metal. He could shred your face off one minute then at the drop of a dime, play soulful bluesy-jazz type stuff without even flinching. He's a genius.
You know it makes me happy to see one of my favorite stoner metal singers/guitarist compliment on one of my favourite thrash guitarist :) fucking heroes

Testament beyond underrated
Corrosion of Conformity were one those Columbia Records 10 CD's for 99cent bands that you'd kinda listen to once and that's it. Not that they were bad but just didn't really stand out. But being an honest musician who loves playing music deserves full respect. Kudos.
I'm seeing Testament again in April. TBDM is opening. It's gonna be badass.

Not trying to sound cheesy or cliche but return to serenity is probably one of the best arranged, composed and written songs I’ve ever heard. It has the sexiest solo in it I’ve ever heard. I can’t believe nothing else matters is more popular. Kills me. Testament is dropping heavy ass shit right now. The last couple albums from front to finish are all bangers.
