I get so excited when I see you have posted a long video!!😍 I dislike dusting, dare I say, with a passion. 😞 Music, can't we have a little bit of everything? I switch it up all the time. When my kids were in daycare. Every teacher they had, at some point wanted to know who my kids were getting their music from. "One day your kiddos are signing Helen Reddy or Alabama and the next day would be AC/DC or Supertramp the next day would be The Firm or The Beatles. Whoever it is, they are all over the place." I would have to confess the music weirdo in the house was me, I like it all!!

I absolutely LOVE videos like this where you have combined cleaning and recipes, and they’re super long. I usually only get to watch as I’m getting my little one down for a nap, 20-30 minutes at a time. He loves to watch you vacuum and talks about the mess before he goes to sleep. I feel like I have withdrawals when you don’t post! It was great to watch half yesterday and half today. Thank you for making our days brighter!!

Wake up to something you love! A large picture of the lake, mountains, or landscapes, city, or your family, above the dresser would set the tone for the day. I think if it’s the first thing you see when you open your eyes , it should be something that makes you happy !

A long video yet filled with motivation, inspo and an interest for more. I can't say there's anything I don't like to clean. I don't mind chores. With dance music or smooth jazz music for a calm clean, I'm motivated to clean but there are times I wish I could speed clean or snap my fingers and be done. 🤣

I would definitely speed clean through the bathroom! I am totally with you on the single basin sink for the exact same reasons. It makes it so much easier washing pots and baking sheets in one big sink. All of your recipes looked delicious!

For over your dresser in your bedroom, maybe some sort of hanging baskets with pothos/trailing succulents, a flat rattan basket wall, or even a propagation wall for some plant clippings? :)
My one chore would be laundry! I try to do one load a day but I despise folding/hanging it! I’ll wash it and dry it all day long but after that; I’m done lol 😂 super excited about this video! Have an amazing day, Amanda! 💕

Amanda, I love watching your videos. I hate laundry. Mostly folding it and putting it away and it never ends. Moving between the cooking projects is real life. Your twice baked look really yummy!!
Uuuggghhhhh I love the idea to separate the laundry like that. My husband constantly shrinks stuff by putting it in the dryer or wondering what’s supposed to go in the dryer… and I HATE the separating step in between the washer and drying!!! So smart! THANK YOU 🧼

First of all...thanks so much for the e-cloth idea. I got the ones for mirrors, windows, etc. Omg....it is amazing! I couldn't believe it! I have an electrical or digital fire place above my dresser. It looks like tv. Not only is pretty, it warms up the room too! Love that idea! Thanks for new video, always enjoy it!!!

Totally late but to your above dresser question I ordered two prints by Smallwood home of my husband and I for above the long dresser we have. I love it and it’s sentimental because the photos are from when we first got married. We’ve since moved 3x, lived overseas, bought a house and had a baby but it’s so nice to see where we started.

Wow, that was all in ONE DAY? You are the Wonder Woman of Homemaking. :) It was so fun watching this video and I love that you shared your recipes. My mom used to make that same Strawberry Shortcake for us growing up so it brought back sweet memories. I make a version of it, with a squeeze of orange in with the strawberries and sugar and I add dark chocolate shavings to the top of the whipped cream when it's plated. ❤️ So good! I love your videos, cleaning and cooking in one was the perfect length for me to watch at 5am before kids get up for my daily dose of inspiration. The music you ask..I like all the music, nice to hear voices but more so, I like the volume level of it, some RUclipsrs have it so loud so you need to turn it down during music spots, yours is spot on.

Amanda I buy potatoes 10 to 15 lbs. at a time. I bake them and make them like you showed today. I cool them, stuff them with the inside of the potatoes mashing that with butter sour cream cheese then wrap them and put them in the freezer. When I’m ready to serve them I just take them out of the freezer, unwrap taking the Saran Wrap off and put them on a baking pan .I bake them 30 mins in the 375 oven .
I love listening to lo-fi especially for after dark, but also just to relax while I clean. ✌️♥️
I really liked the way you filmed this video. Often times multi tasking can be hard when prepping dinner, to have everything ready at the same time. The back and forth style of this video helped with that. Can't wait to try these recipes.

Love this video, I can actually clean my entire house in 1 hour but that's because English houses are so small in comparison to yours 😅. I would love if you could do a video on how you keep up with tasks like cleaning the skirting boards and wiping down the walls etc I seem to struggle with that a bit xx
We all have one chore we don't enjoy, mine is cleaningthe bathroom🤪...lol.....one way I find it easier to do the chores I don't like is to listen to an audiobook or podcast and it kind of takes my mind off what I'm doing 😊👍

For that place in your bedroom where you plan to take out the small mirror and not put in a TV (I applaud the fact that you don't put a TV in the bedroom) I recommend abstract art in cool colors. If you feel like it, you can do it yourself. Buy a frame with canvas and some acrylics in blues, light blues and some gold. Just a touch of gold. Go to your patio with a glass of wine and have fun creating a canvas that you will hang in your own home. It's fun, cheap, special and you don't have to be an expert to draw some meaningless lines and make it look divine. I highly recommend it. But with how expensive large pieces of art cost.
I love all kinds of music. I was just talking to my husband about this topic. Lol I am into more up beat as it motivates me. But the after dark videos I do enjoy the softer option. I like a change up of all kinds of music. The song you have in while vacuuming/ mopping is nice for this chore. Very relaxing and soft. I think you do pretty well with changing it up.
I honestly love when you clean at a normal pace. It’s more relaxing and it’s like how I clean now because of my fibromyalgia. When I clean, I put on pandora to Backstreet Boys station. Love me some pop, boy band music!! I think if I were to speed up a chore it would be doing dishes. I don’t dislike doing them but standing to long in one spot aggravates my fibromyalgia. Not complaining just saying… take care and be safe

I always try for 6 pm but the summer months at the coast the days are longer so I typically end up serving dinner way after 6pm🤫🙃
We try for around 6 as well! It doesn’t always happen like that but of course that’s our goal!

I used to make double stuffed potatoes that were called “Potato Mice”. Raisins for eyes, radish slices for ears, green onion for the tail and carrot matchsticks for whiskers. My kids are almost 18 & 15 and they still ask for Potato Mice😂. They’re such a yummy and filling addition to a meal. Musically, I love all music and feel like you’re really good at matching the song to the mood of the video. No complaints🥰
One house chore I’d like to speed up is dishes since now my family has been reduced to three and I’m the only girl i always feel like leaving the dishes last. One academic chore I’d like to speed up is homework, I feel like it goes on forever and never ends.
I like A lot of different genres so I like mixing pop with folk and a bit of country.

My hubby works outside the home and I work in our home so we tend to tackle household chores as a team for the big ones. For example, yard work - he weed eats, picks up dog poop, and blows stuff off and I mow and feed the flowers and shrubs. If I cook dinner, my hubby does the dishes. I clean the bathrooms and the rest of the house as far as dusting, vacuuming, and mopping and my hubby takes out the trash and washes the cars. I wash the sheets and all the dog beds once a week and my hubby washes our clothes. It’s a system that we’ve perfected over the past 23 yrs and works for us. However, if I could speed up one thing, I’d choose yard work lol. We live in Tx so yard work happens most of the year here.
I love that! We do family pick ups & tackle the house together lots of evenings, but it’s so nice to have individual chores that you each do! 🥰 it makes everything go much smoother 🙌🏼

I love the real time meal video because that is life, right! While one thing is baking in the over you are moving on to work on another portion of the meal. Dinner looked great by the way. will have to try making my baked potatoes that way.

A tv is great in the bedroom when your sick they have a Frame tv that you can show artwork on but it's pricey but you can do that on regular tv and use screensavers from youtube.

I've been watching these videos in the morning while I'm feeding my baby and drinking my coffee. They really help me gear up for the day. We are closing on our first house next week so I'm up to my eyeballs in packing (and doing it with a 10 month old underfoot is an added challenge).
I prefer the really positive uplifting music but I don't have a preference for style. Actually switching it up may help me stay motivated (I tend to switch between Spotify playlists a lot).
Interesting to see how different we in the UK wash our dishes! We tend to fill up the sink with hot soapy water and work our way through. You way seems better as you are using clean water as you go. Thank for your great vidios.
I love doing laundry, it’s my favorite chore (that includes ironing)! Ironing is very soothing to me. My family thinks I’m crazy, but it’s always been that way.

Dishes are the one chore I would love to snap my fingers and they would be done!
I use a product called Clean Shower on my glass doors in my bathroom. You spray it on and it dries the glass. Works great.
I've definitely thought before how out of all the RUclips cleaning channels I've watched, you've got the best music

My laundry routine is out the window at present. There's only the two of us and l usually wash from Monday to Thursday and iron on Sunday. Old military family uniform had to be done for the week. Anyway I stray my eldest grandson has hurt his arm and leg can't get upstairs at home so he's with us. Didn't remember how many clothes a teenager goes through. Lol. Great video as always.
