I'm off to New York in May, my first visit. The video makes me even more excited and look forward to seeing more from this guy. Gotta say, the music makes me smile :-) Big thanks to David.
Really cool video, I watched it till the end. The video seemed really smooth and steady, nice job. As a new yorker my entire life, born and raised and still living here, I honestly never tire of this city's incredibly unique beauty and energy that is like any other place on earth. New York is magic, it's literally a 'feeling' you can't even describe with words. The music had a really nice vibe to it, my only suggestion would be to maybe use some more 'NY' themed music, I don't necessarily mean anything super cliche like Sinatra's "new york new york" or anything, just maybe something more obscure, yet still very 'new york' feel, if that makes any sense. I loved the video, but it was just a little strange with the "Georgia On My Mind" as the background music. Keep up the great work, I subscribed to your channel and look forward to more videos :) Even though I've been here my entire life, getting out and exploring this incredible city/state is still my favorite thing to do in the world!
+Renee Polgar I appreciate the feedback soo much. Yes I wasn't sure about the "Georgia" song but really liked the remix so gave it a try. It's really valuable for me to have your thoughts on that. I'm looking forward to making more videos, hope you'll stay tuned! Happy to connect further too :)
Awesome vlog, David! One thing I can tell you is that you know how to edit very well! A tip I can give you (you don't have to follow this, up to you hehe), is that you should take out the little random cuts when you sync it with the song, it kinda throws off the vibe, but I loved the fact that it switched from a vlog to a cinematic film! Unique!
+Damian Maitland Karan Thanks a lot Damian, appreciate the feedback so much! Glad you like it, I'll post every week from now on, need to get that discipline! Cheers
Loving the vlogs ! Keep the good work, one thing I would love you to improve is the sound quality when you are outside I can't hear you as I would like (maybe the quality of my hearphones) Again great work and I'm looking forwards for other vlogs
+Obtroniks ! Thanks a lot man, and thanks for the feedback the sound quality, I need the fluffy thing for the wind, I think!, Also, I was a bit shy for my firt vlog, but I promise I will speak louder and smile more at the camera in the next videos!
+David Ams I think you actually did a great job for your first vlog, and I didn't notice anything wrong and love how you talk in front of the camera I wish you the best and I will continue watching your vlogs !
Yea, I'm inspired by Casey as well. But unfortunately I live in such a non cinematic town :( But u keep doing it man, even though it's a lot like Casey, yo are really good!! :)
Woah! Now that's amazing vlog for start. Keep it up David. Your videos are amazing, its real hard work! TIP: Make an eye contact with the camera when you are walking.
+Learning Clubhouse Thanks a lot! Yes I needed to look more at the lens instead of the little screen on the side. I feel bad for that! Will definitely fix in the next vids!
great editing, great music, great vibe of a video! do more talking tho, just a lil more, like nore about you personal life and stuff, show more of your personality, i think people will like that! i enjoyed this video very much!!! very relaxing and positive!
Hey, David Ams, amazing video ! :) I enjoyed every second of it.. Watching the video I was like ' Mh.. How many subscribers has this dude got.. 24K? I was suprised to see so few subscribers.. Well, one more at least! :D Stay uploading this amazing content!
I had just left a comment a few minutes ago but it disappeared. Hope it didn't offend you or anything, definitely wasn't my intention, I loved your video
+Kenny McCormick Hey dude, I own & run a digital agency in NYC. I moved to NYC from France 5 years ago. The best way for you to come here would be to find an internship in a couple years. Where do you live?
+David Ams I'm living in Brisbane, Australia. Things aren't so great for me here so I'm really hoping of moving out soon. I'd love to attend university in NYC, but of course money's a problem :/ so I'm a bit lost for options
Well, time for some (personal) feedback i guess ;) :1) at the beginning there were way to many cuts for my taste, that was kind of weird.2) try to look in the lens instead of the screen (1:36) and also hold it a bit more on eyelevel.3) the rest was good and you have one more subscriber now :)
+ii “4ZA5R3” ili You are so right, noticed this myself as well (especially about 2) but it's hard to think about everything before starting. Next videos will definitely have these fixed! So glad you subscribed!
Same! Love this video, Except I still don't know what I'm doing wrong with my stabilizer, I'm using the Canon T3i, 50mm and the same stabilizer. Any tips? My shots are so shaky!
ohh... it is so good to have some move but in Poland we can't, sadly, we have the most polluted air in EU and it is really hard to breath :( too much CO, not even CO2, CO
+Maximilian Uchida the thing is that Casey changed the game of vlogging, so some of his shots and edit specificities are hard to avoid... For sure I'll evolve to a different style, the only way to find my style 100% is do to more! That's just my first vid :) Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it!
I see what you're saying ;) i couldn't do a better job than you. And the vlog looks beautiful most of the time. Just a little more confidence when you're talking to the camera, some original ideas and i will keep watching;)

haha j'en étais sur! pas de soucis ;)
It's a good Vlog. But to much like a CaseyNeistat Vlog. Do your own thing, people who watch Casey won't start watching your stuff, nothing new.
+Maximilian Uchida the thing is that Casey changed the game of vlogging, so some of his shots and edit specificities are hard to avoid... +Maximilian Uchida Exactly, I really believe the only way to learn is by experiencing! Appreciate you man!
Great content but it was a bit of a clog cliché
Haha, I know ! Thanks
Such good views man! Keep these up David!
+Stevie James Smith Thanks a lot man, you have a cool channel :)
