    As evil as Tormen is I still respect he does follow through to pick you up, a lot of Sith would of just killed you without the betrayal because reasons.

    @Revan498 Год назад +62

    Honestly, telling Tormen you quit in the "neutral" ending is a lot more satisfying, especially since the game doesn't actually let you defect until KotFE, and even then its strongly implied you're just getting stung along like the Imp Agent in chapter 2. Plus, it is technically the "honorable" choice if you're RPing as a Mando..

      Killing that monster seems more honorable and mandalorian. Defeating dangerous foe for both glory and greater good

    • @ladywaffle2210
      @ladywaffle2210 Год назад +16

      Depends on how you define honor. Is it honesty, fulfilling the contract no matter the terms? Is it taking down the biggest foe? Saving the most lives?

    My bounty hunter is far from Light Side, he’s bad to the bone, he just didn’t like Darth Tormen. Killed so many Jedi and Sith before, not gonna let some Dark Lord with too much ego throw him around like that. Tormen sealed his fate when he treated me like Darth Vader treats an underling. Vader himself has the sense to treat Boba better than he treats his halfwit officers and servants. A good bounty hunter isn’t just worthy of respect, he commands it. I thoroughly enjoyed betraying Tormen. I bought some cybernetic hands afterwards to make it a notable moment in my character’s identity, like he defeated Tormen but walked away with some war wounds to memorialize the experience. Plus the image in my head of a Mandalorian successfully killing a decently powerful Sith Lord even with both his hands cut off in the process just because he was that mad and that petty, it’s a great image.

    • @ladywaffle2210
      @ladywaffle2210 Год назад +8

      Imagine, if you will, your Bounty Hunter, both hands gone, Tormen prepared to begin gloating-and then Tormen starts choking as you fire a concealed rocket from a launcher on your knee.

      If you do the plant story on Belsavis first, then your Hunter story. When you find one of the missing squads from the planet storyline during your personal story you can tell them that you took care of everything.

  • @ricardomarquez7730
    @ricardomarquez7730 Год назад +13

    Well to be honest betraying Tormen is justified especially since he promised us our revenge against Jun Seros and he had the nerve to say “If Seros leads his attack he will die. I will not sacrifice ground for your vendetta.” Which was the whole point of the deal between our bounty hunter and Tormen. Heck that was when I decided too turn against him only after killing Seros.

    • @Ashbringer36

    • @rayzuke1232
      @rayzuke1232 Месяц назад

      He allowed you in to take part in his own personal operation. Without him you would never even get the chance for revenge. It can be argued that Darth Tormen would have come this far even without your help, you simply were a strong ally. You get one shot at revenge he does not even owe you. Darth Tormen did a lot of things wrong... but none with the Bounty Hunter, he played straight and honest.

    • @ricardomarquez7730
      @ricardomarquez7730 Месяц назад

      @@rayzuke1232 Maybe but backing out of a deal or forgetting the reason why we joined forces is bad for business. Also this is Tormen he likely just tried to use our bounty hunter character for his own goals. Plus if Tormen thinks he can change the terms of our original deal then I would say he pays in full with his life.

  • @moya036
    @moya036 Год назад +6

    As much as one gets to want to blast Tormen's head, he was a solid client while the republic did a number on the BH and messed up with his/her reputation, which is paramore within the profession
    Just because of that, I am incapable to pick the light side option. For me the best case scenario is neutral; you fulfill the contract, have some satisfaction and regain the freedom to operate as you want, not a happy ending but at least shows potential

  • @fatwheat1
    @fatwheat1 Год назад +10

    I was honestly hoping for more than this. After playing through all the Empire stories, i had higher hopes for the bounty hunter. I feel like chapter 1 was the only worthwhile chapter. Chapter 2 was just playing cat and mouse similar to the ending of inquisitor. Chapter 3 was just clean up.
    I still think the Sith Warrior was probably the best even though the Imperial agent story sets up the story for Knights of the fallen empire.

  • @Falx415
    @Falx415 Год назад +7

    Recently replayed the BH story, and Im still conflicted on this decision.
    On one hand it was so satisfying killing Tormen.
    But on the other it meant going back on a contract, something that's against my BH's code.
    Agh why is it for most of the game the decisions feel -and largely are- pointless then out of nowhere they slap you in the face with these!
