Agreed seeing this today and as soon as I listened to an interview with Frank Grillo that one of my favorite movie content creators Sean Chandler Talks About did and he was talking about not only how they were in real suits but, they also were not just 7 foot actors in suits but, they were 7 foot performance artists.
As well as how Frank was talking about how he had a scene underneath a car whatever that is I’ll find out at 2:20pm today but, how he was hiding under a car with the main actress from the wolves and he was “scared as shit” as he put it that one of those werewolves was going to reach underneath the car and grab at him was so enticing as I want that type of tension in a monster movie and honestly you don’t get that a ton anymore due to a ton of them looking just like super advanced cartoons

Smash the two together into one being and it sets off a primordial monkey brain survival adaptation of im in danger.

Frank Grillo against werewolves sounds like a good time too me! This movie reminds me of a book I read like 8 years ago about a bunch of small asteroids landing on earth all over the world. Well they weren't asteroids they were werewolves attacking earth from the moon. The book was actually kind of terrifying. It seems like like it would be corny but it was not. I wonder if that is what this movie is based on?

I just went to watch this movie and it was a lot of fun. It definitely wasn't the best Werewolf movie I've ever seen (that would belong to films like American Werewolf in London, Dog Soldiers, etc.), but it didn't have to be. It was awesome just to see one of my favorite movie monsters on screen again in a practical manner and not some lame ass CGI. My favorite part had to be the metalhead/punk werewolf. HELL YEAH!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘💀💀💀💀

I just watched this movie and it was good. But I just have one problem:
    - If everyone turns into a werewolf for one night during the super moon, and they only attack people who haven't turned, then the solution is simple. Everyone just turn into werewolves and nobody gets hurt, maybe some animals get eaten, but thats it. 🐺

Thanks Chris for the head up on this movie, that all I ever wanted is a good B grade Werewolves movie, I didn't expect this movie to get a award or anything like that. Most of my best WW movies Is B, C or D grade movies while being low budget like Dog Soldiers, Howl, Bad Moon, Silver Bullet, Ginger Snaps etc..... I will add this movie to my WW collection.

Good movie, I was entertained. The werewolves reminded me of the xenomorphs the way they hung their heads down, looking for people while drooling saliva runs their mouths. For the budget they had they made the most of what they had and put it to use. Frank Grillo was AWESOME!!!!

Steven C Miller! lol I know this name from a Ralphthemoviemaker video about Steven Segal. Apparently he works with Segal all the time. But I will say that from what I know about him, the werewolf’s looking cheap was NOT an “artistic decision”

I enjoyed this in the theater. There was only one showing per day for this where I am and this was at huge AMC spot in LA. The audience laughed at some parts not meant to be funny, but they did clap at two different parts. I love your prequal idea and even the premise of a supermoon doing this and people knowing was still an original idea.

I'd definitely love to see the version of Werewolves in which we see it happening from the beginning. 1 billion humans, an eighth of the world's population turning into werewolves, unexpectedly? It would be impossibly chaotic. The body count would be massive. This version is most likely going to tell not show what happened during the first year.

DUDE. I had the exact same attitude when I was a youngster going to Blockbuster--and Waldenbooks. I _still_ love '80s/'90s paperback and VHS horror art, and as soon as I saw the poster for this film--which was before I'd even seen the trailer--I knew this was a brilliantly cheesy movie and that I would almost certainly love it.

Seeing the prequel is a great idea. The reviews I’ve seen are all full of positivity. So if somehow it maxes out the box office, that’ll create a budget for a worthy prequel… maybe the plan all along 🤔

I thought it was a short, fun, 80’s 90’s throwback B-movie with some charming practical effects. It for sure leaned into itself and I appreciated that. The person who played Lucy’s acting was so bad but also fit perfectly with this movie. Check your brain at the door and enjoy

Love me a “good” B movie horror, sure I watch big studio efforts too, but one of the reasons I keep my Amazon Prime subscription is to trawl its depths for those really cheap movies where often there will be a new twist on a worn out trope and due to being really creative with limited budgets they end up being interesting and watchable despite bad special effects, or bad acting or plot holes or whatever, there is usually a redeeming quality that keeps me watching. It almost seems like a seasonal and festive activity now at this time of year with the dark nights. I’ll definitely be watching this.
