Hats off to the two of you for this trip! We love the Dolomites so much, been there at least twice a year for hiking and vacations. It's a magical place and staying the night in a hut is great, especially when all the others leave for the day and only the patrons stay...to watch the sun go down over the mountain.Just awesome
Ciao Molly e Ethan, saluti dall' Italia! I am a lover of trekking in the mountains, my usual terrain is the Alps, living in northern Italy. If you want to do this type of experience again, I suggest you use boots that exceed ankle height, mountain socks and gloves even in summer, especially if you want to do a via ferrata. It serves to avoid serious damage due to ankle sprains and also for vipers that bite more or less at that height of the leg. Vipers in the summer are there in the Alps, I have met them several times, they often run away but if they are numb from the cold they do not and if you pass by they can bite.

Wow! Thanks for the tip. Glad we avoided the vipers this time!
It's not just for vipers, it's really a question of unsuitable shoes: it's risky to go on the rock with sneakers, they are not made for that use.
Nice video ❤
Thank you!
