    Hello sir. Please explain sir difference between these two capacity. C=1000V/S and c=S(g/C). In which cases they are used.

      The first is on a highway and the second is at traffic signal.

      @@SatishIITR thank you sir but I am doing my project in ptv visum as a city network.This software knows only nodes and links. Then for every link which formula should I use to define initial capacity because there are may be hundreds of links in a urban network if you have familiarity with this software!

      @@shokran7750 I have not used VISUM as I do not work on problems related to Network Planning. Capacity value for a link will depend upon several factors and basic values can be taken from IRC code (if you are from India) or from standards as per your country.
