  • Our first video where we convert a sweet 2004 6.0 4x4 Excursion to the 2011-2016 Front end using OEM parts and an aftermarket mounting kit. We just built a brand new body shop/paint booth for my business Super Duty Ford Truck Parts in Morehead, KY. We sell Ford parts, install Custom conversion projects, axles swaps, interior swaps, have a full service body shop, sell rebuildable wrecks and ready to go Ford vehicles.

Just got a hell of a deal on a 2004 excursion in mint condition about to do the same and make it look like a 40000 truck for under 9 gs

Can you make a video of where you got the parts and who/shop did the work?

Wish they would share the “secret” on using the excursion fender cladding/flares whatever you want to call it. I know you could use the flare for the new front end and paint it and the bottom of the fender the trim color but I don’t think it would like right I want to use my fender cladding on the 08-10 front end swap

You say you’re not a fan of that particular mount kit. What kit would you prefer? I have a 2003 and I and gathering parts from my front end swap.

I skipped thru both videos but I didn’t catch who make the conversion brackets? Would you use them again or is there a better bracket setup available? Is there a conversion bracket kit to adapt the 2017 & newer design to an Excursion? How much would it run for you to do the conversion if someone bought new replacement parts?

You’ll spend about 5k in labor and parts

If you wanted the conversion to be a full conversion, you gotta do the front, the back & the interior, otherwise it wouldn’t be a full conversion

The original front looks better than that clip.
Go with the newer 2019/2020 clip.
Then throw that 6.0 away and install a Cummins 24-valve with a p7100 pump.
    Just my opinion.
