@@Miguelsgarage On the versions that were equipped with the smokers package that is actually the ash tray, I own one with it (that fortunately was never smoked in!)
Also those rear barn doors have a tab hidden inside that slides out and clips to the door frames to hold them open (look at the inside of the door between the hinge).
The rear 3rd row seat is actually on wheels and is pretty easy to remove from the vehicle.
I'm going to be looking at replacing the center front console with a jump seat as I personally have found it to be a big waste of space, the only real benefit is the rear facing power port for the second row (which I will try and keep). The Third row does have a power port on the drivers side, meaning that every row has at least one place to charge a phone.

I’ve owned a 99 Suburban, a 2000 Expedition and an ‘02 Excursion. The Suburban was probably the smoothest ride for passengers during long trips, etc. The Expedition felt the most comfortable to drive (especially for those who aren’t used to large vehicles) and actually seemed ‘roomier’ than the Suburban. (Though the Suburban had much more cargo space). The Excursion is by far the beefiest and most capable - but may not be as pleasant of ride if you have a lot of passengers

@@Miguelsgarage wasn’t meant to be ridiculous or anything. They’re for grocery bags and/or handbags.

These never could compete with a 2500 suburban . The excursion is dangerous with big trailers. The suspension is way underated and unsafe and the brakes are substandard for any towing. The 6.0 chevy ran all over these v10s and 7.3 .the gm tranny is bulletproof the 4r100 was the worst trans ever made every 36 k it needs replaced. Had all three still have the chevy 400 k plus and still on the road. The two fords were in the shop monthly always needed a couple grand worth of repairs plus neither engine could get a heavy load moving on a long grade.
