Thank you Soror Quad. I had my Acessa procedure Tuesday and I’m on day 5 of recovery. I feel great and I did not experience any pain. A little sore at the entry points but it’s not painful. This new treatment is a great option and I can’t wait to see how my life changes!

My question, with Acessa and UFE, is if you want to get pregnant, isn't it best to eventually remove these dead growths to make room in the uterus? I heard that with myomectomies, there is a chance the fibroids can come back because either all of the fibroid wasn't removed or the blood supply to the fibroid is still there. Can the fibroids come back with Acessa or UFE?

Fibroids usually come back without a diet change. What feeds fibroids? A high glycemic diet. Sugar, enriched flour/processed foods, caffeine, high glycemic vegetables. A low glycemic diet is best. Many if not most women with fibroids/PCOS are pre-diabetic.

The Two medium sized fibroids that were detected later this week had caused a pressure on my own bladder.
