My grandma bought me this game when I was 5 for my birthday and I hated it cause it wasnt the sonic game I wanted (sonic gems lmfao) and so I still played it but it was too hard at the time and I never beat fireman. I played again when I was 7 and I instantly fell in love with the game, the music, characters, everything, i beat the whole game and restarted it at least 5 or 6 times on different memory cards on my gamecube to upgrade megaman differently. I will always say this is on my top 3 best games Ive ever played.
+cronical246 Battle Network got six yearly games, spinoffs, multiple animation series, a card game, toys, models, board games and God knows what else. It got a lot more recognition than any other Mega Man series out there.
Kuikkamies I mean recognition from fans because despite being the megaman a whole entire generation grew up with he is still pushed aside by Megaman Classic in all regards
+cronical246 Of course you would use the Classic in a iconic situation over a derivative. It's the one that made large impact on cultural level and gave birth to the franchise. Then again, almost all tracks in Transmission are remixes from past games.
+Kuikkamies It's just that BN is amazing, and the fans don't appreciate enough. Classic is classic, that'll never change. But BN deserves some recognition from fans.
I remember his Flamethrower attack so freakin vividly. This absolute madman just pointing his arms at you and yelling "YAA HAAEE!!!" and having to time the slide almost perfectly to dodge it. A good first boss to let the player know what'll be expected of them.
+ZairotOne Unfortunately I never figured that out, and I stopped playing Network Transmission after that, lol. I was about 10 or 11 when I played this game.
never played Network Transmission but i love this track so much also to me every time i hear the beginning of this song i can't help but image and hearing the READY sound clip from Megaman X5 or X6.
Man this theme brings back memories. I really enjoyed Network Transmission. Probably the one Mega Man Network games I actually finished and played multiple times.
If you are a fan of this track (like myself) know that this track is composed by Yousuke Yasui. He's also composed for the stage music of NeedleMan, SwordMan, ElecMan, and Zero in this game. Legendary vgm composer, I do suggest checking out their work. ^^
@ShadowMetalBowser64: No, he was renamed TorchMan in the 4Kids *dub* of the anime. He's still known as FireMan.EXE in the original version...as well as in every Battle Network he was in because he's based off of Fire Man, the Robot Master from the first Mega Man game for the NES. Also, @CLfreak246, I wouldn't say it has *some* of the original Fire Man tune...I'd more say it has *most* of it. And all of it is badass.
FIIIIIIRREEEEEEE!!! BURN!!! BURN!!! BURN TO THE GROUND!!! BURN!!! BURN TO THE- BURN TO THE- BURN!!! BURN!!! BURN TO THE GROUND!!! WHOO!!! WHOO!!! WHOO!!!
As far as Capcom is concerned the story of Battle Network has reached it's conclusion. In other words, The End! But it certainly won't be a forgotten series.
While I feel Blazing Internet is different enough that it should be considered a different song entirely, I can't deny that it definitely fits classic Fireman.
This song and that intro had no business being this good
This is easily one of the best songs in the Mega Man metafranchise
Damn, that bit from MM1 Fire Man's stage. This theme is amazing
Sad the game itself isn't amazing 😢
@@NetBattlerI really wish Capcom would give Network Transmission a second chance, I think it could be amazing with a few tweaks.
@@NetBattler I mean I enjoyed it more than MMBN4, but yeah it could definitely have used some polish
@@TheLamer5000 same here,I really wish Capcom could fix some of the flaws if they decided to remaster this game

Thanks grandma!
I randomly thought about this crazy good soundtrack and remembered I couldn’t get far in this game. I think it may be time to revisit.
This was such an underrated gem. I found it at an old gameshop back when there was more than just gamestop. Worth it.
I'm playing it on my gamecube, and even though the game could have been way better I do admit it's pretty nice, and that ost got me hooked
That gaming grandma is a legend with excellent taste.
This song is straight fire
Lol
If this song is a fire, then your comment is *L I T*
I see what you did there! LOL
And I'm burning.
Hah for a fire stage it is pretty... LIT 🔥 huh
Why are none of these songs in smash? I wish more people gave BN the recognition it deserved
I still have high hopes a new one comes out idc which console :(

I went nuts when I found out that you can slide under fireman to dodge his attacks. :P
ZairotOne Yeah I didn't know that I had to slide either XD
+ZairotOne Unfortunately I never figured that out, and I stopped playing Network Transmission after that, lol. I was about 10 or 11 when I played this game.
I found that at my 3rd try but get hit anyway xD (I was like 8 or 7)
Once I learned how to slide I murdered this game and all 6 battle networks for the GBA ,fantastic Series
If I hadn't read about that in a magazine I probably never would've known you could slide under bosses.
This is an amazing song. One of the best Megaman tracks in the entire series.
Best megaman soundtrack
