Great video, love the DC vibe. The traffic you saw on your bike ride was likely a presidential or other VIP motorcade. They usually have many vehicles including the black SUVs and motorcycles.

I adore the "big girl" thing. I'm 19 and just so afraid of adulthood. I started watching you because you make it seem like being an adult can still be fun and creative and girly. It makes me feel like I can still be curious and adventurous and excited while being an adult, with real life responsabilities. Unfortunately, in DC it doesn't matter which direction you're going in traffic is always a beast. Working hybrid is becoming so popular in the DMV to help alleviate some of the stress of commuting.
Girl, you have a BIG GIRL job and that is such an accomplishment! I’m literally 30 and still use the term “big girl” lol there’s so many aspects in life where sometimes I don’t feel “adult”.

Presidential motorcade. When I saw it, there were also helicopters and the tour bus driver told us that they were equipped with infrared cameras that could see every move we made inside of the bus. It was exciting but it was also a little intimidating, especially at night. Lol
that sounds so cool!! but also very intense haha
Quick tip when doing grocery shopping. Always check expiration date on certain groceries so eating fresh
I always check expiration dates! Want to get the most bang for my buck haha

Cherry blossoms are beautiful. I went to Japan 5 years ago during March and it was beautiful to witness.

Thats great you get to work a couple of days from home, another plus. Omg the bike ride experience, sounds kinda scary and very exhausting. I love the term" Big Girl" it isnt bad to use that term, because everything your doing is transitioning. Dont listen to jealous negative people, you do you.

Not loving how the alternatives for “big girl” in the comments are all gender neutral. It feels like the issue is less with an adult using a “young” term and more with using the word “girl.” Anyway, love the vlog, your energy is so nice and infectious :) congrats on the new job!
You can cook green beans in the air fryer with a little bit of oil tossed in and salt and pepper for 10-15 mins (toss around half way ish) or heat up a tablespoon of oil, wait until it sizzles, and then toss in green beans, coat it in the oil, add chopped garlic and cook until fragrant, add half a cup of water, let it sit until water evaporates, season with pepper and salt and done. If it helps, generally the cooking time for chicken breast is the same regardless of sauces in the air fryer in my experience

I also used to depend on water bottles for drinking water and eventually decided to just pay a monthly subscription with a water delivery company, you can rent the equipment with them as well. You should check if there’s any in your area 😊

If you are looking for another pasta recipe, you could make a white sauce using your cream cheese by melting that down in a pan, add grated white cheese like parmesan, mix until it’s melted, if it’s too thick, add a little bit of milk, then add chopped herbs like parsley then add halved baby tomatoes and cook until they kinda pop, salt and pepper as much as you want then add a little bit of your pasta water, toss in pasta and mix around. You could top it off with an oven baked or air fried protein like the salad chicken

I know it’s technically not cooking from fresh but to keep green beans from going bad you could buy frozen. That way you have them in your freezer ready to make and don’t have to worry about them going bad.
I like to use the frozen variety that are steamed in the microwave because mine also go bad if they are hiding in my crisper.
@@budgetwithrenay2419 those are the ones I use and they are pretty reasonably priced for around 3 servings or so of vegetables.

I think the reason I don't like the "big girl" phrasing is that I did the same thing, thinking I wasn't "really" an adult because I'd just moved out of my parents' house, I was only on my second full-time job, I wasn't covering all my expenses, etc, etc... and eventually I realized I'd probably never feel like an adult if I didn't embrace that I WAS one and start thinking of myself as one. So I'd like to see younger people embrace it younger than I did!
I definitely will embrace it, I just don't want to rush this part of my life either 🤍
