This is the OLM V2 F1 Rear Fog Light, and it is a versatile multi-functioning light that has been designed utilizing the latest in LED technology. This particular light will function as a running light, brake light, as well as a reverse light to provide other drives around you with more awareness. When compared to the V1 Rear Fog Light, this particular light will also have a sequential animated brake light function that operates after holding the brake for more than 10 seconds. Additionally, this light is available in a variety of lens, light base, and light bar combinations to allow the enthusiast to choose what combination works best with their application.

So I'm dumb guys and skipped over this part, but you can turn the F1 blinking function off on the reverse light as well by just going into reverse and turning your lights on and off quickly three times.
Would it be permanent or would I have to do it everytime I turn the car on?

Thanks for this install video. I was able to install it easily… I used a shoe lace to get the wire up… looks awesome such a good upgrade totally worth it!!
I love the smoke white bar version the best.
Just installed it two days ago on my roommate's brz, plug and play, love the smoke look with the red bar
I’m honestly impressed by how much easier it is to work on this new gen of 86. On the first gen you have to splice your wires.

Does that showmode animation play every single time the car is turned on? if so is there a way to turn that off?
they look cool, they just dont look like they belong to the car. and i prefer an OEM+ look, personally.

has anybody seen what these look like combined with the sequential tail lights that have the start up animation? wondering if its too much together, and if so, which one should i go with?

I bought this light but the connector of my GR86 2023 doesn’t match with the connector of the olm v2!!!! It’s different 😤
My gr86 is a right hand drive imported from Japan. I bought these lights but unfortunately the harness from my stock lights does not fit with the connector of the new light😞 something to be aware of
Did you find a way around this with different connectors or soldering any wires?
i think the whole back of the car should be a brake light.
