    My wife and I just picked up an ‘80 b7100 Diesel 4x4. She bid on it on accident and we both love it. It needs a new clutch though and a lot of work. Ot runs and drives well though. Thanks for sharing your restoration. Looks fantastic.

    Nice tractor restoration. I also like the new lights, mirrors, and tool box. I own a BX 22, bought it new in May of 2003, I have also added the same items that you added. Lots of fun. Hope you enjoy your tractor as much as I enjoy mine. Beautiful job on your part, you can be proud of the work you did.

    This video is 3 years old but, nice job. I have one of those. Bought it in 2008. For 16hp it's a little beast. Runs out of traction before power. Does things my 23hp gas garden tractor can't.

    Good job Steve. I know he must have been right there with you all the time when you all were working on it. Because I know if he had left you alone with it , well let's just say it would have been a good chance it would have been painted red. Lol.

      I personally didn't have anything to do with the restoration, as you can see. I'm not allowed to take my yellow sticker labeling machine anywhere near it either...-)

    • @bikerdave1274
      @bikerdave1274 6 лет назад +2

      Steve Jordan Naw he just has really bad luck with anything mechanical. The poor guy, new or used all he has to do is look at the thing and boom, it's broken 😛

    • @AtticusDraco
      @AtticusDraco 6 лет назад +2

      buy Kubota, complain about the dealer, attempt to fix it it, get mechanic friend to fix it, complain about obtaining original parts, complain about manufacturers providing parts, complain about the tools needed for repair, complain about tool manufacturers, Finally piece it together, get it running, misuse it and break it. Final Act: Vid on why you should never buy a Kubota

    Just a heads up on the D750 engine series, the oil pressure might be too low due to a bug in the oil channel manufacturing of some of the D750 engines. You need to make sure you have a restrictor in place in the end of one of the top camshafts, otherwise you will have too low of an oilpressure and the engine will wear down a lot.

      Hi Len, It is really dry. We are having a heatwave summer this year. The last time it was like this was in 1976, if I remember rightly. Regards Steve

      yes, I was living in W London then. '75 and '76 were very hot and dry, and then '77 about the same at least for Liz' 25th jubilee

    Why does the exhaust point forward? Surely that means your almost always driving through the exhaust fumes?

    • @SteveJordan
      @SteveJordan  6 лет назад

      You can mount the exhaust in a choice of positions I think my brother said. It actually fires out at an angle so you get very little fumes. When I had a go on it, I didn't notice any at all after the initial start-up.

    • @deaniweenie
      @deaniweenie 6 лет назад

      I can imagine getting more fumes when turning left. As for the tractor - lovely! I wish it was mine :-)

    Kubota make sweet small units. Typical Japanese quality. Does that take hydraulics/a bucket loader ?

    • @SteveJordan
      @SteveJordan  6 лет назад +1

      Hi Rob yes it does have hydraulics for a bucket loader etc plus it has a PTO shaft on the front as well as the back. My brothers are going to get a grass cutting machine to go on the back. I think they are fed up with the ride on mowers they have had. This tractor was made in 1986. I never knew these mini tractors existed until they bought this one. It is so well made.

    • @Xynudu
      @Xynudu 6 лет назад +1

      Hi Steve. They made/make quite a range of small tractors including centre pivot units. Most are 4 WD. I've even seen some centre pivot units with a small backhoe on them - really useful for tight situations (which is pretty common in Japan). Quite a few used in Oz. Pretty expensive originally by all accounts. A front PTO is a bit unusual. Interesting video, and the resto looks very nice.
      Cheers Rob
