Always wanted an audi, so when I first bought it, I started from a prestige trim. A7, newest model at the time, little kid inside of me was screaming of happiness. For all 3 weeks. There hasn't been a freaking month that one of the sensors didn't need to be recalibrated, fixed or cleaned. Fast forward several audis, I bought a new A6 (not going to say anything about the most uncomfortable seats in 15 years of my driving), but I was looking for the cheapest damn trim, the "premium", with analog dash, no HUD, no LED lights, no night vision camera, nothing. Auto high beams, lane departure and reverse camera. That's it. Like I'm driving a Hyundai Accent. Hell, even those don't work when it's raining, but God it's a good feeling not having a Christmas tree warnings on my dash every time I start the car. Now with that being said, after seeing those headlights...whoever buys this trim, well... you poor fu**ing bastard. Good luck replacing LED light number 76 after you just replaced the 37 one. On an opposite side.

In this thread, people who have never owned an Audi. We owned a Q5 for 14 years. It was fantastic and only had minor issues at the end of its tenure. Still drove beautifully and the interior held up so well over that time. You can’t underestimate a well made, quality vehicle.
The majority of car drivers of today don't care about how it drives, as long as it's got light steering and looks good on the drive. A lot of the next gen don't actually want to own a car, so not surprised they are being sold on the premise of the lifestyle it fits into rather than their actual specs/features.
Flashy lights that dance in any new car usually means the overall quality is a sham. I also guarantee that none of the windows have any type of anti-reflective coating, so have fun enjoying all that glare at nighttime.
