I was thinking the same thing about the camera angles! Lower camera makes it look crisp and white, birds eye makes even the tarp look yellow!

@@DaniXXX18 I'm wondering if maybe the bird's-eye camera just needs its white balance adjusted so it matches the other angles, I don't recall the difference between cameras being this noticeable in previous videos.
Same here. That camera truly brings out the best in the rug's colours.
I absolutely love seeing more of these vibrant colored rugs, the colors really do just pop so nicely afterwards!
I do too. They don't come around too often though.
I think we need to appreciate what a huge investment in equipment this man has made. Just setting up the cleaning area, the room itself with the specially treated floor and the drain was a major investment. Having been in the carpet cleaning business myself, just not to the extent that he is, I know how much those machines cost. There's really been a handsome outlay of cash made here!

Rug cleaning came up in my recommendations a few weeks ago and I thought why the hell would anyone watch that. It is however very therapeutic. After falling into a bit of a rabbit hole your videos came up as recommended and you are without doubt the best on youtube. You really take the time to get every last bit of dirt out and I love the explanation of the stages. Thank you for giving me a new obsession. First hoof trimming (who knew!) and now rug cleaning.

It never ceases to amaze me how dirt continues to come off round after round after round after round..... it's unbelievably satisfying when it FINALLY rinses clear. Also I'm having trouble with my back recently and I am green with envy watching you do this work, which I'm sure is harder than it looks, with so little effort.
Maybe its me but Its an absolute killer of a job with these really really dirty rugs but so worth it.

I love how you clean down the area after each rotation. It means that the dirt you have just released hasn’t got a chance to go back into the rug. Plus , is just nice to have a clean workspace.

I love the little eyes on the machine and I like how he now describes what everything does and it’s purpose great work man also this was so satisfying to watch and I thought the rug was supposed to be black till u scraped that dirt of lol

And your videos are the only thing I have found that helps me put my 9 month old baby girl to sleep
I'm not kidding she will fight me continously but when turn on one of your videos on she calms down relaxes and just watches she's absolutely fascinated by it and then falls asleep
As a single mom this helps immensely especially when nothing else calms her down

Yes its truly a blessing I think it's the fact that it's not just one constant noise but that the type of noises always change plus she's actively watching what's going on and it fascinates her and put her to sleep
I've tried every kind of white noise machine or music or lullabies or anything to put her to sleep but none of it worked she just never wants to sleep.
her Grandpa was watching one of thing while watching her for a bit and found out that it worked now I use it daily for her naps and bed time

Every time I see 'Flipping the Rug' I have a little chuckle as first off I read it as 'Flippin Rug'. You clean to such a high spec, and I was just thinking that there would be loads of families in inadequate accommodation who would really appreciate that rug, particularly as this winter we're going to need all the insulation we can get to keep warm....and then your info about giving them to charity and people in need came up, which was great.
You're totally right. With the rise in gas and electricity prices , rugs could make all the difference in winter if you dont have carpets already.

I've watched about a dozen of your videos now, and notice that when the cameras are just above floor level everything looks pristine and white/bright (as the colours come back to the surface of the rugs) including the floor you have. But the view from the camera up above makes the entire room look yellowish, so the rugs still look dirty even moments after seeing a floor shot of things looking super white. Not sure if this has to do with the angle, the camera, the lighting or something else. But I love how gorgeous this rug came out. The colours of this rug are just beautiful. Well done!

I agree, Susan. Western culture has adopted a very disposable lifestyle, buying new, cheap, and temporary crap (including “fast fashion”) instead of paying more for good quality, or buying second hand.

I'm glad to see you squeegee'ing the water directly into the drain. Squeegee'ing it into the sides just makes cleaning take longer, and so many carpet cleaning channels do that. Your earlier videos had you doing that too, but I'm thrilled you've stopped, at least in this video.

The solid colour rugs showing up wihout any stains at the end are cool as heck, but i gotta say, the ones that were clearly made for a kids' space getting restored are my absolute favourite 🥰
12:09 to realize that that mud has been produced from pressure washing the back of the rug, that is really something. Pressure washing the back does indeed push out soil deeply embedded in the front-side rug fibers.

I have sometimes wondered why a perforated floor with a catch tank underneath would be better than a solid floor for allowing the dirty water to drain through the rugs? And how do you recycle the water to use again? My wife and I can sit for ages watching you clean the rugs and now knowing where they go after cleaning makes the experience all the better! I loved the before and after and would like at the end more of them before shutting down. IMO only. It was amazing to see this black rug come to life. This was a huge transformation. The way the rug glows now has my eyes wide open. So bright and cute! You get that water so clear! I love the manual drying at the end. Watching the colors brighten up instantly is wonderful. Is the vacuum ear piercing? It sounds like it would be loud as heck in that room lol
